Worst energy company in the world
Yu Energy are the worst energy supplier I have ever dealt with in thirty years. My business was switched to their supply by a third party without my express consent. We tried to set up an online account with them multiple times with no success and no assistance from their customer service team. For this reason, we were not able to view our bills. Despite numerous attempts to contact the company, without warning they switched us to a PAYG meter. After charging us over five hundred pounds to switch back to regular supply, which was 11 days ago, our supply has not been switched back and Yu energy have cut our supply fully leaving our business unable to operate, even though we are significantly in credit with them. I would rather liquidate my business than continue to work with them as an energy supplier. Their customer service is dreadful and this has been the worst experience I or my team at work have ever had with any energy company. I cannot recommend strongly enough to avoid ever using their services and only hope that someone reading this will stop and think before signing a contract.

Warning hidden charges for not having smart meter
Having received a phone call from Yu energy regarding the fitting of a smart meter I do not wish do have I was then told that the prices I was quoted will be increased as in the t+cs this information was not given to me at the time of sale and I believe the contract was mis sold as I understood the prices quoted were the prices I would pay not subject to having a smart meter fitted, this company disguises important information in the small print ,when I asked them to looking the mis selling of the contract which I believe to be with Yu energy they refused.08/0424 Angela was very un helpful point blank refusing to contact the sales agent telling me continually that it was my responsibility in total contradiction to Mr Bobby Kalars who aimed to address issues with poor service and prices, in regard to service I'm sorry but you have failed miserably

Installed my charger but failed to…
Installed my charger but failed to advise my DNO that the main fuse needs upgrading so my charger has been unusable for 4 weeks. Do not respond to emails.
Failed to turn up.
After waiting 14 weeks from the order confirmation and taking a day off work the installer failed to turn up.
No communication from Yu Charge. After I made several phone calls and received none of the promised return calls I was finally told late in the afternoon that they had cancelled the job.
I appreciate things happen which are out of a businesses control however the mark of a company is how these events are dealt with and unfortunately I have found Yu Charge sadly lacking.
End result another 6 week wait??

We now have 4 EV's as company vehicles and nowhere to charge them at work. Ideally, I wish they would remove what they have installed thus far so I can appoint another company to do it instead.
Yu Charge - Fitting my EV Charger
The guy's from Yu Charge did an excellent job. Prior to the fitting of our charger, a comprehensive questionnaire was emailed for us to complete, making the visit very straight forward on the day.
The team retained constant contact and has already informed us of the arrived date and time. The day beforehand we were informed of the engineers name, so we knew who to expect. The job of fitting the charger was neatly completed and the charging procedure and app fully explained. An excellent service.
Definitely recommend them
Great experience from initial enquiry through to completion and follow-up. Simple and hassle-free process, helpful with answering questions and getting setup on the charger.

Ohme - Epod Installation.
Ohme - Epod. Installation went smoothly with Chris, the electrician who was on time and did the work smoothly. The device is working normally. I got the device installed within two weeks of confirming the quote, which was quite fast when compared to other installers.
Rate was also a good point that I chose Yu Charge, when compared to other suppliers. Installed a fuse box included within the rate as others were charging 75+ for it.

They were drafted in when another company contracted by my charger supplier couldn’t deliver for months. They were in contact really quickly, worked through the install questions before the engineer turned up, were really clear and well prepared.
They confirmed the dates, text reminders, the engineer (Chris) called when on the way, he was really efficient installing the charger (we have a really complex electrical setup), explained everything, put the charger exactly where I asked, was really polite and cleaned up after himself.
They were a really good company to deal with, the work was of a really high standard and I’m really happy with the setup. Chris was an excellent engineer and a great representative for the company.

Quick to respond with quotes and answers to questions. Once I accepted the quote I was booked in for installation within a week. The engineer was friendly and helpful and got the job done quickly and left everything tidy.
