Reported a degrading node, got measured on the wrong one, called rude, and muted for 24 hours
I run a production Discord security bot serving 113 servers and roughly 4,700 users on your Ca-3 node, and this review is not about latency alone — it is about what your support did when latency was reported. On the night in question my bot's Discord WebSocket ping on Ca-3 degraded from its normal sub-125ms baseline to over 150ms, then past 400ms, then past 450ms within about ten minutes, while my own bot logs recorded gateway ping spikes above 5,000ms and a command-handler p95 of 3.4 seconds in the same window. When I asked about it in your support channel at 20:20, your staff member oriveth answered "It is / 43 ms" — a measurement taken on Ca-1, not on my node — and when I pointed out that I am on Ca-3, the entire technical response I received for the next fifteen minutes was: "To bad." "I cant do nothing About." "Stop complaining." "Your doing to much for 150ms." "150 ms is not bad." "No one else experiencing your issues." "everyday you come with the same complaints / Im not going to change it specially for you / 150 ms is perfectly fine." Not one diagnostic question was asked, not one ticket was opened, not one node metric was checked, not one migration was offered, although your own website advertises all three Ca nodes as North America — so a 3–10x latency gap between Ca-1 and Ca-3 is not "it is what it is," it is a capacity or peering problem on a node you are still handing to customers. When I finally used the word "rude" — after being told to stop complaining by the very person I was complaining to — oriveth quoted it back, replied "You are rude / You keep complaining," then "Enjoy your 24 hour mute," and muted me for a full day, with the parting justification "Will keep you quite now / You keep complaining when we try our best to provide things for free, dont expect top premium quality we cant just spawn everything out of thin air we are still a small hosting provider." Let me be precise about what that sentence admits: your support's answer to a documented, worsening, node-specific network degradation was to silence the customer for 24 hours, and the defense offered afterwards is that the service is free — while your website still lists Ca-3 as a selectable node under the same North America claim as the healthy ones. A Discord WebSocket ping is a network-level measurement between your host and Discord's gateway; no bystander saying "maybe your code are just bad writted" changes that, and my bot is strict TypeScript behind a suite of more than 2,000 passing tests with sub-millisecond handler timings, so the 450ms sits squarely on your network, not on my code. I could not even attach the screenshots proving it, because the channel refused my image uploads, and the mute then removed my ability to reply at all. In that same channel, meanwhile, another customer's entirely separate technical questions — how long URL provisioning takes, whether a server must stay resumed to receive its provisioned URL, and why the console forces pnpm while your panel provides no way to install it — went unanswered by staff or were answered by community members, because your staff were busy muting me. "We are still a small hosting provider" is a reason to be honest about your limits; it is not a license to measure the wrong node, quote the wrong number, call the reporting customer rude, and reach for the mute button. Small providers survive by fixing what they can and admitting what they cannot — you did neither. One star: not for the 450ms, which hardware sometimes owes, but for the 24-hour mute, which only a broken support culture owes.

Our service is free hosting. We do our best to provide the best quality possible, but free hosting is not the same as premium hosting and does not come with premium-level performance guarantees. Latency around 100–150 ms can occur depending on routing, node load, location, and external network conditions.
If you are running a production security bot serving more than 100 servers and thousands of users, that is a workload we would recommend placing on paid or dedicated infrastructure designed for production use. A free hosting service cannot be expected to guarantee the same level of performance or reliability for a workload of that scale, and choosing to run such a service on free infrastructure is ultimately the user’s responsibility.
Your concerns were not ignored. Over the previous two weeks, you repeatedly raised concerns regarding node latency and performance, and we responded with explanations, troubleshooting steps, and recommendations intended to help resolve or isolate the issues.
It is also important to distinguish hosting latency from upstream service limitations. Some of the delays discussed were related to global API rate limits. Those limits are imposed by the API provider and cannot be bypassed or made faster by our hosting. When an platform API rate-limits requests, our servers must respect those limits just like any other host.
The downtime affecting the Canadian nodes was also addressed. The relevant maintenance had been planned beforehand and communicated through our status page during the scheduled maintenance/work period.
The discussion eventually became repetitive and unproductive, as the same concerns continued to be raised after responses and recommendations had already been provided.
We are a small hosting provider offering a free service, and we work with the resources available to us. We will continue improving our infrastructure where possible, but users should maintain realistic expectations regarding the performance guarantees of free hosting and understand that issues caused by third-party APIs, external routing, or global rate limits are outside of our direct control.

Honestly best hosting provider ive found so far. I host my bot, my website, and my emails with them and theyre support team is great. When I bought a broken bot they reached out to me (because I didnt know it was broken at the time) to give me a free bot since it was broken.
Hosting aside, their bot is also awesome because I used it for some other smaller projects and it worked great! Definitely will continue to use.
