Excellent boots for beach and woodland (muddy) walks with the dog. Especially good when it's raining!

I asked the service department a question on washing/ cleaning their casual indoors slippers. Just a simple question but, I was asked for original proof of purchase receipt number etc. I replied to get real. Who keeps them?. They've their own records. Eventually some intelligent, minor functionary gave me practical advice. Cut through the response template haze. I suppose that happens when companies get big. I wonder what carefully worded response will follow this?.

Firstly this is a lesson for me to always read reviews including the bad ones! Having owned a pair of the Xtratuf Legacy Fishing boots for over 7 years this initially was an easy purchase. I knew the quality and size required.

How wrong could I be! Like many others the misery started as soon as the order was placed. The wrong size boots were sent which appears to be a very common issue with this company!!?? If you’re in the business of selling shoes this is bizarre to say the least.

Then the insane customer service starts. I have to repackage and send the boots back, but don’t get a new correct sized pair sent out. No I have to wait for them to assess my return, then get a refund, then re-order the boots and roll the roulette wheel once again that I will get the correct size delivered! Not to mention the enticing 15% first order offer will obviously not be applied to my second order.

Reading further into the reviews on the poor life span of the newer style boots I feel maybe I dodged a bullet. I will keep wearing by old boots till they wear out and look elsewhere. But do yourself a favour and avoid this company if you want a hassle free purchase! I will update if and when I get a refund which also sounds like it will be painful too!

My wife and I both bought a pair of the 6" ANKLE DECK BOOTS ICE and they are one of the best investments we’ve made. Chances of us getting much snow and ice in Cornwall are limited but what we do get is rain and lots of it so these are perfect slip on, slip off boots for all activities.

Purchased a pair of 6” ankle deck boots sport from the extratuf UK website when they were having a sale. They lasted less than 3 months of normal use before cracks started showing around the toe box. Contacted the company and they would not replace the defective boots. They suggested I return them for a refund and pay full price for a replacement pair. This is just a failure of customer service when a product failure occurs so quickly. They obviously have quality issues. Do yourself a favor and find better quality boots from a better quality company.

As a reply to their response. The email they reference is the email all correspondence had been directed. After multiple attempts to send photos their service team, having not received anything on their side emailed directly from a Gardner brothers support email which opened a ticket 237747. After my complaint regarding their no replacement capability they offered to give me a partial refund after I submit a full price purchase to then match my original purchase price. That seems suitable but should have been offered to start. I will be returning the boots but have found a better quality alternative and remain disappointed with the

I ordered online and was sent the wrong size of Deck boot, I tried to order Uk size 6 but got US size 6 (UK size 4). I couldn’t find any customer service number to call to verify whether this had been a mistake on my part, glitch in the system or what. It cost me £15 to return the boots so I did not try re-ordering just in case there was a problem with the size or fit. They were lovely boots but i ended up buying a similar, cheaper pair elsewhere that had free returns.

Love my new boots. So easy to get on and off after a sea swim. They keep your feet dry and warm. Perfect for the winter and muddy walks too.

Absolutely fantastic ankle boots, I brought the first pair of deck boots and found them to be so comfortable and a good fit, that I brought a second pair, but these ones, were the ice deck thermal boots and they are amazing too, and they are so easy to get on and off, 100% I would buy them again

These are some of the comfiest boots I've ever worn. I walked around a mile in them the first time I wore them with zero issues. I have sensitive feet and usually wear specially made insoles, but these have been fine as they are. No rubbing and my feet feel well supported. They're definitely waterproof, too. Fabulous!
