Xtremechat advertises itself as a dating service, which would lead you to believe that you would meet someone with a view to going on a real date.

Today, 17th December 2024, I got "chatting" to a physically attractive "woman" on Xtremechat, and went through the usual formalities of introducing myself. I noticed that "her" command of English wasn't great, and she refused to answer any questions.

Imagine my surprise when, having almost succeeded in getting "her" to meet me at an hotel in Dublin, she suddenly said "Hello darling, talk to me. How are you doing today? I have missed you so much"

thus revealing herself to be either (a) mindlessly stupid, or (b) a "BOT".

So I realised I had been competely fooled, and there never was going to be a date. Xtremechat ought to be paid a visit by the Gardai for this sort of theft.
