Outstanding accommodations and service. The location was also fantastic for safari drives.

Wonderful experience from start to finish our guide Dickson was amazing and went above and beyond. The property including the communal bar area and restaurant area were so inviting and relaxing overlooking the watering hole we were greeted the first day by almost every animal you could imagine at that watering hole watching them with a gin and tonic was amazing. You did not want for everything they were always there taking care of things including laundry luggage and making Safari camp and tent heaven on earth. We even had a little bit of excitement and got back to the camp late and they made sure that we still had a sit down dinner that was amazing. Dickson may have been the best guide we had in our entire two week journey Although they were all really good he stuck out he was very knowledgeable had us get the best photos and was very patient with the animals to get us to the experiences we wanted.

Lovely owners and staff. Great views of Kilimanjaro (when the clouds lift). Good variety of wildlife in national park reserve and camp’s own private conservancy area

What a fantastic place this is! Magical game drives with Joseph who is such a knowledgeable & friendly guide. Great food & service from Jackson & all the team. Wonderful bush breakfast........and a wonderful last nights sundowner on top of a nearby hill watching the sunset over Kilamanjaro................just magical. Great location & walking safari with Ben. But the managers/ hosts Graeme & Candy are just the loveliest people you could ever meet. So attentive, helpful & friendly.....................i will miss the chats we had around the camp. There happiness & love of the country is infectious. Thankyou so much guys.

What can I say, the staff and owners at Tortillis were wonderful. Graeme, Candy, and Pheobe, were great hosts and were always there when I needed them. The food was traditional Kenyan Cuisine, which I love! The grounds were beautiful with Vervet monkeys, dik diks, and baboons, freely roaming! It was amazing! The tent accomodations were quite nice; so quiet and private! My safari guide's, Jonathan and Janet (trainee), were so thorough and accommodating. They showed me sightings I never imagined seeing that time of year and got great pictures of me photographing those amazing elephants! Also, the Maasai village was a special treat I will never forget! I would definitely recommend this camp to anyone looking for a personalized experience full of lovely surprises.
