My wife, daughter, and I had an absolutely amazing time at Oliver’s Camp. From the moment we arrived, the service was phenomenal. The entire staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay special. Oliver’s location in Tarangire National Park is incredible. The park is known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, and we had some unforgettable wildlife experiences during our stay. Our guide, Issa, was phenomenal. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the wildlife and the park. He played a huge role in making our time at Oliver’s so memorable. One of the things we particularly loved was how the camp manages to make the experience feel so private. Even with other guests staying there, they do an amazing job of making you feel like you have the place and sometimes the surrounding wilderness to yourself. The food was also really good, especially considering how remote the camp is, and meals were something we genuinely looked forward to. Some of our favorite moments were actually after the game drives were over. There was something magical about lying in bed at night and hearing elephants and lions calling in the distance as we drifted off to sleep. It really drove home the feeling that we were staying in the middle of the African wilderness. The combination of the wildlife, setting, wonderful staff, excellent service, and our experiences with Issa made Oliver’s one of the highlights of our trip to Tanzania. We left wishing we had more time there and would absolutely recommend it to anyone planning a safari in Tarangire.

Excellent camp - great guiding with Afristo and Emmanuel! All of the staff were fantastic, the sundowners were brilliant and the food really good. The walking safari was quite special and the night safari great too!
Had a great three days here... and the Team at Oliver's is one of the most hospitable you will encounter on the Safari circuit... and it is perhaps one of the best places you can stay at if you are doing Tarangire ...
A true gem in Tarangire National Park. Oliver's provides the true bush experience at a 5 star level. The location is in a far corner of the park and the wildlife abounds. The food is fantastic as well as the camp staff! Tents are set far apart and the privacy is fantastic - especially if one wants to enjoy the out door shower. This is one camp that you should not miss!
