You may post an advert for free, view applicants in your area, view responses to your advert, and send an initial message five applicants as a trial before upgrading to Premium.

A Premium paid account enables you to contact as many applicants as you wish via messaging, and enables you to view an applicant's telephone number which you availed of as a Premium Member.

In addition, your advert will be highlighted when an applicant searches for vacancies in the area.

Your advert will also be prioritised within 'Jobs in your Area' email alerts, sent to applicant's personal email addresses.

Premium subscription packages are either monthly (£33.90), quarterly (£60), or annually (£156), which renew until cancelled.

We do not have any Premium Packages costing £40.00 and on reviewing your account activity you messaged 7 different applicants and accessed the phone number of an applicant, none of which you would have been able to do without becoming a Premium Member.

Our Customer Support is here for any issues or queries you may have had, but we did receive any communication from you until you left your review. Given the opportunity, we would have been happy to have dealt with any issues you may have had.

This is a scam app

This is a scam app. You can’t reply or send message without paying 36 euro subscription fee a month. I tried to contact to support to request to delete my account, and even then it says come back tomorrow. Stay away.

What a terrible company

What a terrible company. All flowers and stars when you need to signup but then.. unless you pay either £20 a month (like what?!?) subscription, you can’t do anything. I mean, air tasker is free, task rabbit is free, rover is free, why then should I give you literally a monthly kidney ?
You are a fraud and you belong in prison, in one of those you need to pay £20 a day to stay though.

My experience, “Zero access to applicants!”

Yoopies, blocked me for leaving a review of my genuine truth about my experience with them on trustpilot! They had sent me an email, asking me not to put reviews on trustpilot, & only send them emails if I have a problem! For 2 weeks all I wanted was to connect with the person I had found on their sight, named Márcie-G 31 years old, which I thought it was the best match for whom I wanted to hire, but my messages did not go through! I then told them about the problem, but every time I got an answer it ended up in dead end! They would send me odd persons that didn’t match at all for what I was looking for! In short they just sent me to run in a circle ending up with nothing! I never heard a person’s voice which was my way to ask to make an appointment for a interview by phone! They said that if I signed up for premium, then I would be able to contact as many people but that was a lie too!
I thought maybe these job applicants didn’t exist or if they did, we were being blocked from communicating with one another
because they didn’t want people to get matched & be gone & membership dues would stop! Therefore, to make more money, they lure applicants in, with false advertisement by promising TRUST & EASY access to as many applicants to find the best match, but then the
games starts & it goes on & on & you end up with NOTHING! The only explanation that I came up with is that they prolong the process for as long as possible to gain PRIME MEMBERSHIP dues & either people like me get fed up & catch on the falsehood of this business & start complaining & writing reviews, as many have done which has brought Yoopies ratings to 61% unsatisfactory with 1or 2 star rating! If this happened in America, & as many complaints there are, they wouldn’t be in business anymore! They need to be stopped for not delivering what they promise! There is ZERO EASY ACESS!

Afi again has a distorted perspective of this whole interaction - She did not understand how to manage her account and when we asked for her help to understand her problem or when we offered solutions, she was rude and abusive to our Customer Support agent, plus she made outlandish baseless claims about our agent and Company.

In the end it was her mistake and when this was pointed out that to her and we explained how to solve it, she refused to make the neccessary changes to her account, so in her case the system will never function properly.

At no point did we ask her not to post on Trustpilot, nor does she mention that because of her abuse towards our staff we refunded her Premium Fee as she is no longer welcome on the platform.

Waste of time

This site is an utter scam and is utterly not worth your time. You can’t even respond to messages without paying £30 for a month’s “subscription.” Takes the P.

EDIT: To add additional context that Yoopies would obviously omit in their response to this review: I was prompted to pay £30 to send my first ever reply to someone on the site. There is no technical issue with the site - their business model is simply extortion.

Yoopies is a legitimate and reputable platform where Applicants and Employers can search for or offer services in babysitting, elderly care, pet sitting, tutoring or housekeeping/cleaning.
A Free Account provides a limited amount of usage on the platform.
In order to avail of Full Premium Benefits such as having access to contact phone numbers or to be able to send an unlimited amount of messages - a Premium Membership Subscription is required.
This goes towards the costs of staffing and upkeep on the platform as we pride ourselves in having strict quality control and this is achieved through Moderation of Ads and Verification of Applicant Profiles to ensure Employers can trust who they are.
I'm sorry you are agrieved William, you did not message Customer Support to let us know this is how you felt, but rather went straight to leave negative feedback on Trustpilot -
We would have welcomed the opportunity to have helped you had you reached out to us.
Yoopies allows up to 5 initial messages to applicants before you need to subscribe to Premium in order to engage further with the applicants.
William was not required to pay anything in order to send an initial message.
William had only messaged one applicant and had the option to message up to four more but the prompt he received was to Purchase Premium in order to continue with the messaging thread with that applicant.
Our prompt is our transparancy.

Avoid this company!
They take money from accounts even tho subscription cancelled. No customer service whatsoever. Still no refund or confirmation of cancellation.
Shame on you. Didn't ever get any replys from the sitters advertised. Total waste of time and money 😞

This company is a complete scam

This company is a complete scam. We contacted dozens of profiles that were shown to have been online days ago but we only received a couple of automated email rejections. I would not be surprised if these accounts turned out to be all fakes. In addition, we were charged for an extra month even after we cancelled our subscription.

This relates to a Complaint / Review left by this User in July 2023 and they have again left a 1 star review but have not used the platform since 31/07/23.
They contacted our Customer Support when they had not received a response from applicants and we provided advice and recommended that as they were a Premium Member they could access the phone numbers of Applicants to get quicker replies but for some reason they chose not to.
They were not charged for an extra month after cancellation of the subscription, if they were, we would instantly refund them, instead they forgot to cancel before the automatic renewal of the subscription, once a subscription renews, we do not process refunds.
So every story has two sides and they chose to distort their side of the story.

We asked Trustpilot to request further information from this User as she does not have an account on our platform in the UK. We investigated and found that the User has an account on our Portuguese Platform
The User did not respond.
We then asked Trustpilot to remove the post from our Trustpilot UK Account as the User is not an account holder in the UK and she has not given any explanation as to her defamatory statement.
Trustpilot have declined to remove the post.
We still do not have any explanation as to why this user feels we are fake and not to be trusted, perhaps its subjective but we would like an opportunity to hear their story and be able to investigate if there was any issue.
Unfortunately its become acceptable for users to post defamatory and broad statements without being obliged to support their claims.

Not enough professionals available

I used to like this service... but now it doesn't have enough cleaners available, so the service just wasn't fit for purpose anymore. Wasted a lot of time.

We offered to publicize our Users Ad on our Facebook Page in order to garner more interest, we also advised on how to widen his search but he did not respond to our offer of help.
The housekeeper he did communicate with declined his offer as he was not willing to pay the hourly rate they were charging, despite their hourly rate being visible on their profile.

Pretty funny that I come on this site…

Pretty funny that I come on this site and see employees of Yoopies trying to defend the company left and right from customers who clearly have been receiving subscription charges without their consent, have lost tons of money stored on the site, and have (unsurprisingly) had a lot of difficulty handling these issues with the Yoopies.

You know what? I have had the exact same experience! What a coincidence. I tried using their service from France when I traveled there as a tourist and sought a few evenings of child care for our children. Turns out that if you are not a French resident, you can't legally hire child care through Yoopies. It's pretty difficult to discern that. It's not written anywhere in the Terms of use.

This entire company is so absurdly incompetent, they can't even respond with maturity to an email about my frustrations. I got some French guy emailing me back on a Monday morning indirectly whining about his emotional frustration with having to work for this horrible company by writing a few grumpy sentences that completely disregarded everything I said and followed with copy/pasting a conventional response about how to cancel my subscription within my account page.

Stay clear away from this company, in any country. They clearly do not care at all about their customers, nor do they wish to provide important information to prospective customers either.

Yoopies will make you pay for…

Yoopies will make you pay for verification... Fine. However before the verification I didn't see any employer ads. After the verification I didn't see any ads either. You can't be claiming you offer a service if it seems non existent. Claiming you offer a week of premium service when there weren't any ads detected from beginning to end sounds very sus. I raised a concern about that, they haven't answered mmm. Also I'm quite baffled, never thought a carer website could have an average rating of 1.7 ish. That's not normal whatsoever

terrible experience

terrible experience. They have been charging me every month even though I didn't suscribe for a monthly membership. I have been trying by all means to stop this, I wrote them, nobody replied. There are no phone number. My bank said I should create a new credit card so that I am no longer scammed.

We identified that you currently have 2 accounts, one for the UK and one for France.
The UK account had a Monthly Automatic Renewal Premium Membership Subscription, this was advised at the point of purchase.
When you created the UK account, you entered an incorrect email address so all our emails to you hard bounced.
It appears that you then tried to email us to cancel Premium on your French account, which was not a Premium Account.

We acknowledge that you tried to email us to cancel your Subscription before it renewed, we have no record of receiving these, however, if you can forward these emails showing your attempts to cancel before your renewal we would be more than happy to arrange a refund.

We wish to stress that we are not conducting anything nefarious, we make it very clear and transparent that this is an automated renewal and unless cancelled it will renew again.

We also sent emails confirming your purchase and again at renewal with clear instructions on how to cancel your subscription, but your incorrect email address prevented these from being delivered.

We are always available via our "contact us" when ever you wish to cancel your subscription and if you cannot find how to cancel it yourself.

All our Premium packages are recurring subscription products until cancelled. This is stated on the payment page:

charging both job applicants and job holders! With a market full of respected business models that charge applicants for available jobs, this is a very poor business model that will never have customers. Thank God they're not the only ones in the market, or else it will be a disaster! They must be insane to receive an application for £60!

OMG what a scam

OMG what a scam. If you cancel your account they take all your money currently in your account balance. There is no option to get it back. But then if you keep it active they keep charging you. No win situation. Also, they do not warn you that they are about to direct debit your account. I've lost almost 100 GBP with these people...Stay far AWAY!

EDIT: So the merchant is now claiming that they do not know how I arrived at 100 GBP. Let's see - on August 26th I was charged 60 GBP. Again on November 26th I was charged 60 GBP for a total of 120 GBP. For these payments I was able to initiate email contact with 2 potential nannies. Of these 2, I invited 1 for a test session of 2 hours for which I paid her 27 GBP. (After the test session I found the person to be not suitable, although generally a sweet person she is not able to provide what we need). So for 120 GBP, I was able to write 2 emails and pay one nanny 27 GBP. Seems like a legit "premium" service - you all should be ashamed of yourselves!!! Also they claim that it is clear on their website that it will be auto renewed but not so. The disclaimer is in light grey colored font below the payment in a very obscure manner and AGAIN they do not send you any email notification that your membership will auto renew or that they plan to charge you again.

We transparently advise all our users that when they purchase a Premium Membership Subscription that this is an automatic renewal.
We clearly convey instructions on how to cancel the subscription or offer customer support to do so at the point of purchase and also on the confirmation email once Premium is purchased and also in each renewal email the user receives on the renewal date of their subscription.
In this instance, our user purchased a 3 month Premium Membership Subscription back in August. As a result they received a bonus GBP 50.00 booking credits to use towards bookings on the platform, however it is clearly stated that if you cancel your Premium Membership Subscription you will forfeit the booking credits, and that's what happened in this case.
We offer as part of our Premium Service, access to unlimited messages to applicants, the ability to view applicant's phone numbers as well as the free booking credits.
Our user in this case bought a 3 month subscription for £60, our normal monthly fee is £33.90 so they got a discount for purchasing 3 months instead of monthly - We did not charge them £100 as they claimed and don't know how they arrived at this amount.
This user accessed the Premium benefits they purchased with out any issues.
Once they received their renewal email and realized that their subscription was renewed then they felt that we treated them unjustly, which is untrue.
We clearly state in our Terms of Service, available at the point of purchase and on the platform, that we will refund a user if they cancel or request cancellation before their renewal.
When the user emailed customer support after realizing they were charged for their renewal they stated that they did not know Yoopies were going to charge them again, they claimed they couldn't find a suitable person on the platform so they don't want this anymore, yet they have used the platform to book child care which was completed by an applicant and paid for using the complimentary booking credits they received for purchasing Premium.
This users portrayal of their experience on the platform is a completely inaccurate version of their actual experience.

I went to Yoopies to find an afterschool nanny…

I went to Yoopies to find an afterschool nanny. I paid what I thought was £29 for 1 month. There was a lot of interest for my advert. I only used Yoopies for 2 weeks and paused my ad. My surprise came when I got charged for another month. I had seriously thought that I only paid for 1 month of service (which was what I needed) and not more. I also found it rather difficult to find on the site where to cancel the subscription I didn't know I had made. I contacted Yoopie who came back to me very quickly. They were helpful and refunded me for the month I had involuntarily subscribed to. My only comment is that it should be clearer if you enter a monthly subscription or not and make it clearer where on the website to cancel it. A good service overall.

I am a premium member that has been scammed.

I am a premium member, paid GBP58.99 for a 3-month subscription with a GBP50 discount code towards paying the sitter. BUT I COULD NOT USE THE CODE yet it says the code HAS BEEN USED despite the fact that I cannot even make payment WITHOUT THE CODE so how could I have used it at all. This whole thing has been made worse by the slow (like being ignored for days on end) customer service agent, who offers absolutely no help.

So basically the app is not only useless as a payment gateway but the subscription model is a scam.

Extremely disappointing service!

Extremely disappointing service!
Automatic renewal of payment, without notification... Suddenly, even if we used the service for 1 month, we end up paying 3 months of subscription for nothing more and our refund request is rejected.
Cannot contact service from the interface either - email customer support just copy/pasting!

Arnaque?

Le site n'arrête pas de nous dire qu'il faut faire vérifier son profil; mais comme je le craignais faire vérifier son profile implique de payer pour un abonnement prémium dont il semble impossible de se sortir (je remercie d'ailleurs tous les gens sur tripadvisor prévenant de ce fait j'ai faillit me faire avoir également).
Passez votre chemin à moins d'accepter de payer 25 euros mensuellement.
(je ne manquerait pas de modifier cet avis si les choses devaient évoluer bien entendu).
