Within just 6 weeks, we generated more revenue than our previous 3 months combined. Their creator network is incredible - we now have 25+ commission-only affiliates making daily content about our brand. The entire 4-step system (Setup, Pick, Arbitrage, Scale) works exactly as promised. What impressed me most was the data-driven approach to scaling only what converts. No more guesswork! If you're on the fence, JUMP OFF. This is the real deal.

We’re a wellness supplement brand that joined YSW’s 16-week TikTok Accelerator campaign to scale our TikTok Shop sales. On paper, it looked like a solid plan: two videos per day, ad management, and 40 pieces of content from influencers.

The sales pitch was impressive. YSW projected sales of $40K on the “super conservative” end, and up to $400K in the “wild scenario”. They showed strong case studies and promised a hands-on approach with their team analysing key metrics daily and optimising creatives. The CEO, Timote, even emailed to say he’d personally oversee the strategy and that contingency plans would be implemented immediately if things didn’t go to plan.

We invested around $20K, plus the additional spend on creators, influencer fees, and ad budget.

I felt confident that, at the very least, we’d break even.

Unfortunately, the reality was very different.

It took over a month to onboard the first creator, and another month to find the second — by then, our peak sales season was gone. The content they produced was okay, but most videos had just 200 to 800 views with virtually no engagement. I believe one video reached 5K views.

Our project manager on Slack was very friendly, though response times were often slow, and a few weekly calls were missed without notice. No analytics or performance reports were shared until we specifically requested them — 10 weeks into the campaign. Whenever we raised concerns about poor results, we were advised to be patient — “the magic happens later.”

But there was no magic.

The campaign brought zero sales from the content. Actual $0 - not a dollar. One so-called influencer made a single $20 sale. A far cry from the super conservative $40K we were expecting.

The ads were run using TikTok’s auto GMV Max system. All ad-attributed sales came either from product cards or affiliate videos sourced by a separate team. While the overall ROAS was strong (around 8x), the actual sales volume remained relatively low. Notably, some of our top-performing affiliate videos — with clear performance signals — weren’t even authorised to run in the campaign. Meanwhile, the influencer partnerships and organic content generated zero ads sales.

In the end, we felt misled. It didn’t seem like anyone was truly measuring, refining, or improving the content with a shared focus on driving sales — nor executing any contingency plans.

They seem like nice people, but I wouldn’t recommend YSW to other brands looking for reliable, ROI-driven growth on TikTok.

UPDATE 02/05/2025: I appreciate that YSW reached out afterwards and made genuine efforts to make things right. We had an open and honest discussion about what went wrong, and I’m glad we both learned from the experience and took steps to improve internal processes and address communication challenges. I value that they took our feedback seriously and responded professionally.

The YWS team is utterly disappointing. They lack transparency, are slow, and dismissive of feedback You would be better off avoiding working with them.
