This company is a scam. I ordered the cotton modal khimar for £45 and when it arrived I read the care label to find it’s actually 90% rayon and 10% spandex. No cotton in it at all. It also looks nothing like the pictures, the seams are wavy and the cut is completely different to what’s advertised. I left them a one star review on their website, exposing them as liars who are intentionally deceiving people with completely inaccurate product descriptions, and they DELETED my review!!! No wonder all the reviews on their website are so positive, they’re just deleting the negative ones. I haven’t decided if I’m going to return the khimar yet as I’d have to pay for it myself and I’ve read that other people have had horrible experiences with their returns. Shame on those who work for this company, absolutely shocking business practises.

Material is see through, very itchy and very cheap cheap material 0/10 do not get!! They also took soooo long to ship and it came in the wrong size. You will have to layer with this dress and the fabric is really not cute, it looks like you got it from shein. But SHEIN material is better.

Should have looked at the reviews before purchasing. Cheap products. Can buy the same thing off shein

Great customer service. I was worried that the dress was too big but they reassured me it will shrink after the first wash and indeed it did and it fit perfectly. Thank you.

Please do not shop here this place is a scam their products are so cheap and when you try to return the item they make it so hard to give you the return address they haggle for you to keep the item even though it did not fit me they were saying oh just keep it and next time you shop with us we will give you a discount I had to write long winded emails for a simple return and they would get back to me saying oh explain in detail why you don't want it like I'm not in a conversation with a pen pal having being forced to write long essays about the abayah it was an absolute nightmare then after a lot of back and forth they decided they will give me a refund if I return the item at my own cost only by signed for special delivery that costed me £19 or so, which I did then when the abayah arrived at their shop they refused to take it and it was marked as return to sender imagine the scams these people are running please do not shop here terrible quality and they claim they're Muslim wow.

I bought a dress and I forgot to apply my discount code. I sent an email even though I wasn’t really expecting that is going to work but surprisingly Zailarah applied the code even though the transaction was completed and my dress was on the way and gave me refund.
Love the dress, it’s definitely beautiful and I’m looking forward to shop with you again.

Can’t give it more than one star!
I placed my order exactly 15 days ago, still haven’t received it nor been able to track it for real as the updates are confusing and not real! Now it shows me it is in transit and have been for the last 11 days, I emailed zailarah and they assured me the it should leave that stage right away and come to me within 4-5 business days which didn’t happen so far my order is “apparently” stock in transit and I have no clue when or if I will receive it! Totally frustrating

Overall I had a great experience with this, customer service was prompt, friendly and helpful. Shipping was quite fast as well. I bought one of the lace up linen abayas in a 58” around 6 months ago and it’s held up pretty great.

Some downsides/things to consider:

Sizing is limited. On the website only length sizes are mentioned, but nothing about S/M/L or bust/waist measurements. The 58” came in packaging labelled as an XL- which worked out for me but may not for someone thinner but same height.

The fabric is not pre washed so shrinkage is definitely something that will occur, they do advertise this— but again only in terms of length, which is not great as when the dress shrinks it shrinks all over. Unwashed the dress fit a little loosely around my body but was very long, after washing the length was perfect but the around my body it became much more fitted which is not as modest as i was hoping for. Additionally the pockets shrunk as well, I have an iphone 13 and about 1/3 of it sticks out when i put it in my pocket.

Lastly, for some reason the belt used to lace up the dress did not hold up well. there was a seam in the middle of it that ripped or something in the wash— nothing like this happened to the rest of the dress and I did follow wash instructions so not sure what went wrong there.

That said, i love the fabric, the feel, and how it looks on me. I would definitely try another dress from them but hope that the above mentioned concerns can be addressed

Order placed for 2 items on 30 April. It's 14th May today and checked order details - one is still being processed in the warehouse and the other has only just been shipped on 13th..

I received an email from the team with an apology that one item is out of stock and that they should have informed me sooner; the other item is on way. I was only given option to refund back to store credit or exchange an item with a complimentary hijab for both options. Managed to get refund back to original payment method.

The other item that has arrived is fine and i'm happy with it. But overall stressful experience; I think customer service needs improvement.

We ordered multiple dresses from them. When we received it my wife washed one and saw how much it shrunk, but we knew that was a risk. The issue I have is the dresses that were not warn or washed we have been trying to return and had have ZERO RESPONSE FROM THE COMPANY. We have emailed them 3 times and messages on instagram. This is ridiculous and I would not recommend them at all.

I placed an order on March 7th and I still haven’t gotten a tracking number. I’ve tried reaching out to them on their website, Instagram, even email and there’s been no response. Starting to feel like this is a scam

SCAM
No customer service. I ordered on their website and was not satisfied with the quality, it was very cheap. So I requested a return but received no response. I've lost 200€ and it's been three weeks since I've been trying to reach someone!!!

Great customer service! Beautiful abayas that’s are super comfortable and breathable. Highly recommend and will order from again.

The simple linen abaya is so elegant and comfy! I really loved the fabric texture, length, and color. I would say that the fabric is quite thin; I must use an underskirt. I washed the dress with cold water and let it air-dry, as you should with natural fabrics. But, the fabric still shrunk too much around the zipper, making the entire zipper look noticeably wavy. That could be a stitching issue or the fabric wasn’t pre-washed before sewing. The concept of the brand and the designs is remarkable, I can’t wait to see them grow! Go natural fabrics!

I'd say for this quality its a bit overpriced but the fabric and stitching is decent. I reckon a lot of the cost goes to their shipping as it comes direct from China. Saying that, its better getting this type of fabric which feels very comfortable over polyester made abayas for the same price or even more. I was updated on my shipping times and parcel arrived neatly packaged.
The linen abayas are too tight around the legs they need to be a bit wider here to let you walk in full strides.

I ordered the large lace up linen abaya. The natural fabric breathes wonderfully and feels good on. The lace up style is flattering and comfortable. I really like it. Definitely recommend.

Note: I purchased a large, but my 17 inch wide shoulders make it a tight fit there. Might want to size up if you have broad shoulders, since this fabric has no stretch.

Overall a great purchase.

The dresses are beautiful. The natural fabric makes it very confortable to wear. The perk of the dress is that it doesn’t need to be ironed which is so great ! The company is very is available to respond very kindly to our questions. We should support this kind of company like zailarah which makes product good for our body, the environment and ethically made.

Natural materials in the abaya world are scarce. I’m so happy to find a company devoted to natural fabrics that are not only better for you but better for the planet. The fabric is exceptional quality and the customer care has been so kind and receptive to feedback. I will continue to support this company.
