Actual rental wasn't too bad.

However, when we received $400 short refund on our security deposit, queried via customer service email. It took 5 emails until they actually replied.

Just be careful re the tolls - the wording is unclear. It says $25 fee "each time zigzag received my toll charge." So our understanding was that it is $25 per day or per rental. Not for each and every toll (that would be ridiculous it seemed).
Toll fees came to $40. Penalty (admin) came to $375

We wrote back to explain that it was not clear from the wording, but customer service to date (2 months later) has not bothered replying.

We thought we were saving money by not going to the mainstream rentals, but this rental of 10 days actually landed up costing us more.

BE CAREFUL WHEN SIGNING THE TOLLS WAIVER!

I would have chose zero stars,but you have to choose one to write a review. BEWARE SCAMMERS!!!!!! My husband and I rented one of their cheap cars online. I paid the total rental fee for two days for $50. They were 2 hours late picking us up from the airport. That should have been a red flag for me. But my husband insisted we wait. We were taken to a warehouse with nice cars and were given a 210 Hyundai to drive. Almost bald tires, smoke smelling with 67,000 + mile's on it. We had to put down a $600 deposit that was supposed to be returned to us after the rental. We returned the car in the same condition 3 hours early. The ZigZag employee looked over the car and signed there were no damages. When we got back to Ohio we called our credit car company. And found that the company only gave us $273. When we tried to call them back to ask,the employee told us to call customer service from the website. Which was the exact same number that I called. When I tried to leave a message, the mailbox was full. If we had in fact damaged the car,they would have told us when we returned the car. Furthermore the car was covered under our full coverage insurance. If we wrecked the car they would have called Allstate. I believe they didn't because insurance companies come out to assess the damage. If they came they would see that Zigzag car rental LLC. LIED. I never got in touch with them. I have reported them on Consumer Reports and Better Business Bureau. I'm now in the process of using them. Stay away from these foreign scammers!!!

This car company doesn’t exist anymore. Booked a car to pickup on 1st Dec, show up at ‘Zigzag Rent A Car’ and the building has been vacated. Surprised their website is still up and running. No answer on phones or whatsapp messages. And no, don’t suppose we will get a refund either

Very low price but good cars!! Rented twice with them and both time the car was clean & in a good condition.

The car was very good for such a small price, I didn’t expect that. Had a nice experience with them.

web site states 5 mins from Miami Airport. took them 59 Mins to pick me up(and that was after 3 phone calls!
Bad pick up experience, car was rough with scratches all over body work! inside had not been cleaned (still had car parking tickets on dash board and in glove box! general standard of cleanliness Poor!
try to get you to take out a transporter toll system that is twice the price of the car rental.
if you state you do not want this service they get you to sign a disclaimer not to use toll roads! when you ask them for a map they say they have not one so they do not advise you on what roads you can use and which ones you can't use! they still leave this system on so they can keep a track on you and then charge you even if you pay for the Tolls.
when we got to the office to fill out paper work, no one apologised for keeping us waiting at the airport!
Just pushed all the paper works at me to sign to get me out as quick as possible.
did not like it when i took a video of the state of the car with all the scratches and dirt !

Don’t choose this place to rent any car. They charged me $750 as security deposit. When I returned car back and they checked the car and there was not any scratches and no car accident , we didn’t ruin the tires and dirty car. They didn’t return full of amount of security deposit ! they withheld $60 for no reason. I called them and they didn’t give me any chance to say and just let me email their customer service. I am still upset. I emailed them, but they didn't give me any response. DON’T CHOOSE THIS PLACE! !! It is SCAM. HORRIBLE

Non sono in aeroporto come invece scrivono al momento della prenotazione, e soprattutto non sono corretti. Usano anche altri nomi, es. SunPrice, ma dono sempre loro.
Meglio girare al largo!

I don’t usually write reviews but not this time. Really great service. Super fast shuttle service and no waiting time, as soon as we got to the office our rental agent already had paperwork ready so we didn’t had to spend that much time there.

No recomiendo en lo absoluto contratar ningún tipo de servicio con ZIG ZAG RENT A CAR. La empresa es de unos rusos, el servicio y atención la cliente es fatal, su publicidad es engañosa, solicite un carro sedan y me entregaron hatchback. En el caso mio, usaron la información de mi tarjeta de crédito para hacer cobros no aprobados. El proceso de reclamación fue desgastante, incomodo y lento.
Tengan mucho cuidado.

NEGATIVE Rating
I do not recommend at all to hire any type of service with ZIG ZAG RENT A CAR. The company is about Russians, the service and attention the customer is fatal, their advertising is misleading, I requested a sedan car and they handed me a hatchback. In my case, they used my credit card information to make unapproved charges. The claim process was exhausting, uncomfortable and slow.
Be very careful.

Worst car rental I ever seen. They tried to charge me $145 for cleaning the car. Total scam. Avoid at all costs.

Servizio scadente. Soprattutto non sono in aeroporto. ti vengono a prendere loro all'uscita ... dopo 1/2 ora poi ti portano nel loro capannone.
lenti e poco professionali, soprattutto ci hanno preso i soldi 2 volte!!!!!! sconsigliato
