Nice templates.

I purchased the Hobby plan from ZipWP after understanding that it allowed me to create 5 AI websites per day, as clearly suggested on their marketing page. After paying $99, I quickly realised this wasn’t the case — it only allows 5 total generations, not daily.

When I contacted support to request a refund (just a few days after purchase and within their advertised refund period), they refused, claiming I had made “SIGNIFICANT USE” of the product simply for testing its features. That logic makes no sense — how can a customer evaluate the tool without trying it first?

Their so-called “money-back guarantee” is misleading and inconsistent. Once you pay, you’ll quickly discover that they hide behind technicalities to deny refunds, even if the product doesn’t match your expectations or the advertised functionality.

The product itself feels unfinished and limited. The AI output is repetitive, and you’re forced to pay again if you want to generate more than 5 demo sites. For a company claiming to democratize AI web creation, their practices are far from transparent.

I’ve used many legitimate SaaS and WordPress tools over the years, and this is one of the few that left me feeling misled and ignored. Be very cautious before paying for ZipWP — once they have your money, they won’t give it back, regardless of their promises.

This company is a total fraud. I paid a $39.00 fee for a one-year subscription using their AI, which is supposed to assist in building webpages. After building my pages, I was quite impressed until the next day when I discovered all the pages had been removed. They emailed me continually, stating my pages were good for three days. Then I was bombarded to "upgrade" after they received my payment! That's not what I paid for. What a sham! Not only was I at a loss of $39.00 that could have been put to better use, but also the time invested. When I contacted them, they just gave me the run-around and kept pitching for me to upgrade. I emailed them a request for a refund, which I never received!
I contacted my web host, Bluehost, regarding this matter. The agent wasn't able to help with this issue due to it being a 3rd party plug-in in Wordpress. ZIWP should be held accountable for fraudulent and predatory practices! I will pursue action against this company. Buyer beware.

I strongly urge anyone, especially beginners trying to build their first website, to stay far away from ZipWP. Their so-called “money-back guarantee” is nothing more than bait to lure you into paying for a service that delivers no real value.

While building my WordPress site using Elementor, a ZipWP pop-up appeared suggesting I “add it” to help with setup. It seemed like a normal step in the Elementor process, so I installed it. Only after that did they demand payment, $99, which I reluctantly paid, thinking it was part of the legitimate setup.

Within hours, I realised it was useless to me. I hadn’t created or published anything meaningful with it, and it only made the process more complicated. I immediately requested a refund the same day, stating clearly that I wasn’t interested in upsells or offers just my refund.

Instead of honouring their 30-day money-back guarantee, they ignored my request and tried to convince me to keep using the product. When I reiterated that I wanted a refund, they suddenly claimed I’d made “extensive use” of their system and “gained value,” even though I had deleted everything and received zero benefit.

This is false, deceptive, and unethical. The product piggybacks on Elementor in a way that confuses new users, making them think it’s part of the website builder. Then, when you realise it’s not what you wanted and ask for a refund, they hide behind made-up “usage” claims.

It’s shameful how this company preys on beginners and small business owners trying to save costs by building their own websites. $99 may not mean much to a corporation, but it’s a lot when you’re just starting out and trusting a service that promises transparency and a money-back guarantee.

ZipWP’s practices are misleading, manipulative, and predatory. I’ve built enough trust with online tools to know the difference between honest software and a scam dressed up as “AI-powered convenience.” ZipWP falls into the latter category.

They’ve lost not just a customer, but my complete respect. If you value honesty, transparency, and fair treatment do not give ZipWP your money. You’ll regret it.

My experience with ZipWP was a complete disaster. Spent 12 hours trying to sort things out but after a whole day wasted, asked for my refund.

Terrible Product. Terrible Support. Tries to scam customers.
I purchased their product to build a website for a client. Their trial is too limited to really test anything, but their return policy looked fine so I pulled the trigger. As soon as it was installed, errors everywhere. No changes could be made to the site. Nothing would save. I immediately reached out to support. Their SLA for paid customers is 6-8 hours and up to 24 for free. After 26 hours, I still had no response so I removed their product, restored a backup, and requested a refund. Now the fun starts...
Support gets back to me asking for admin login creds to my site. Not happening. I informed them I had already gone a different direction since I hadn't heard back and just needed a refund. They refused stating that they needed a "fair chance" to rectify the issue. They already broke their SLA and I had to pivot due to deadlines needing met so I insisted on just getting a refund and parting ways for now to maybe do business in the future. They insisted I give them more information about the issue and kept hanging onto my money. I finally laid it all out and they still refused and kept insisting I help them with their broken product. I stopped responding and filed a dispute on my credit card. Magically, the refund appeared. These people are snakes who hope that customers are too dumb to read their policies. Do not do business with them. I am spreading the word to other folks in my line of work to avoid these scammers.

False “Money-Back Guarantee” – Feels Like a Scam

I signed up with ZipWP because they advertised a 7-day money-back guarantee. That gave me confidence to try it. After just 2 days of testing, I found it wasn’t for me and requested a refund.

Instead of simply honoring their own guarantee, they dragged me through pointless questions, excuses, and conditions clearly designed to avoid paying. In the end, they flat out refused to refund me.

This experience makes their “guarantee” look like a bait-and-switch tactic. I feel cheated and misled by false advertising. A company that treats customers this way shows zero respect or accountability.

If you’re considering them, be warned: in my experience, their promises cannot be trusted.

I have unsubscribed 3 times and I still get emails from "Sujay from ZipWP".
They even sent me a confirmation email with an unsubscribe link and they still send me e-mails.

Don't waste your time on this spamming company.

I realized within the first minute that the product did not work as advertised. I immediately requested a refund the same day, well within the 7-day refund period.

Instead of honoring their own policy, the company responded slowly, unprofessionally, and without addressing the actual issues. Every reply seemed focused on avoiding a refund rather than providing real support.

This has completely eroded my trust. ZipWP does everything possible not to refund customers, even when their product is unusable from the start.

ZipWP makes it super easy to launch new website with Wordpress.

This review is both for their support team and they billing/account dept. I have had an experience with both just recently. The first positive that I have is that the billing and accounts dept handled a refund for me in timely way. Additionally I just had occasion to use their support and they created a little video to show me what I needed. So this is all great! As things stand I would say that they have done everything well and they would be a trustworthy company to do business with.

Bought the $79 package to help build out a website. What an absolute waste of money. Barely any customisation and using one of the free templates achieves just as much. So much better software out there that produces much better value for money.

Overpromised and underdelivered. The premium plan can only generate simple templates, has zero creativity, it just push out all the same simple templates without functionality and without a well structured UX regardless of your prompts. It just push out random photos and copy. Zero functionality, just a shell. They also are gaming the return policy, they say 7 days no risk, but they have a long fine print to effectively try to deny refunds. The corporate culture is very poor, slum dog millionaire poor.
