Superb service from booking through to pick up and return - everyone was efficient, helpful, friendly.

I have used Zitauto several times. They are great to deal with. Cars are always clean and modern and have absolutely no hidden costs. I highly recommend them!

Auto gehuurd voor 11 dagen bij Zitauto in Albufeira. Zeer vriendelijke medewerkers. Heel goed geholpen. Duidelijke afspraken. Proberen je niets extra aan te smeren. Uiterst vriendelijk geprijsd. Vrijwel nieuwe auto meegekregen. Geen gezeur bij inleveren. Aanrader. Ik kom zeker weer terug bij Zitauto.

Non nonsense service at a fair price. Flight was 2 hrs late arriving 2 am Sunday morning. I was half expecting to have been left stranded at the airport, but no, the car and reps were there, paperwork sorted quickly and I was on my way. Returning the car was just as easy. Deposit blocked out on credit card rather than deducted. Would highly recommend.

Als familie huren wij hier al meer dan 35 jaar onze huurauto’s en wij zijn dan ook meer dan tevreden!

We hired a car seat for our 11 month old. We had trouble fitting the strap in car seat. Asked the staff but they said it’s not down to them to help fit the car seats and they don’t get involved with that. Fine. Anyway we figured it out as best we could. Then towards the end of the holiday we realised that actually the seat was broken. Hence why we had difficult fitting it.

I mentioned this at drop off and they looked at it and said yes that is broken and we can get a refund. We said we’d drop them an email or call once home.

I’ve sent them roughly 10 emails. No response. I’ve called and they’ve said they’re looking into it. No response since. Called again two more times but just getting fobbed off. It’s now been two months.

Renting out a car seat which is broken is just completely unacceptable. If they had had the decency to check the car seat when I said I couldn’t fit it then maybe they would have realised it was broken. It put the life of my son in danger and the fact they have the audacity to not respond to any of my emails and give us a refund is appalling.

The process is straight forward and simple. The paper work is all done prior to pick and so is quick and easy, No additional add ons or pressure to take unwanted services. The cars are well maintained and the return process is fast, easy and convenient. They came right to the resort we are staying at to deliver the car and then we dropped it off at the same location. The agents are professional, friendly and accommodating. I needed a few changes at the time of pick up and it was dealt with expediently without any hassle whatsoever so ever.

Very good on Pick up and easy drop off. Car in very good condition. Annoying beep at regular intervals for no obvious reason on this Captur. Hasn’t happened with previous Capturs.

Hi , we have used zit auto for over 10 years several times a year , they are there faro airport waiting for arrival always no problem 😉 caring sharing ,trying hard to get your car 🚗 as soon as they can paper work credit cards passports. Zeer tevreden over de auto verhuur. Bij de auto hadden wij een babyzitje gehuurd. Bij aankomst kregen wij een enorm vieze babyzitje. Het leek of deze al een jaar lang een een verstofte schuur had gestaan en vol met vlekken. Ze gingen het zitje wisselen. Het nieuwe zitjes was iets schoner maar we waren nog steeds zeer ontevreden. Daarnaast was het zitje niet veilig.

Simply the best car hire company at Faro airport! We have used for 10 years and they never disappoint!

This company is the best car rental company at Faro airport. I have been using them for over 6 years and have never had one bad thing to say about them. Every winter, I rent from them for 3 months. The only good problem is that they have become so popular, some times there is a bit of a wait to pick up your car. I probably have referred 20 to 30 people to them and not one has complained. Keep up the great service.

We have been using Zit Auto for 10 years now.
They are so helpful ,polite and kind especially the girl we deal with who always fills our fuel tank up even if we wait 15 mins!
Would go anywhere else .

I am reaching out via Trustpilot to try and get a response as to when my deposit is going to be repaid.

The car and service was fine, but the inability to reach someone about a returning deposit almost three weeks after the car was returned in perfect condition is unacceptable.

I have emailed again today stating my reference number. I would sincerely appreciate some communication and a return of my deposit.

Really easy collection straight from Faro airport . (Car park No.2) Price was as stated on the booking, no additional insurance costs or credit card holds. Car was nice and clean, and only a year or so old (Vauxhall Corsa). Came with three quarters of a tank or fuel which had to be replaced on return. Returned the car back to the same spot at the airport on return, no fuss return, they just checked the fuel level and said “thank you” job done! This is the third rental company I’ve used in Portugal and so far it’s been the best in terms of ease and what you booked and paid for is what you get/pay. Will certainly use this company again next time.
