Not too please as: Travelled all the way to the airport to get a vehicle (Silicy by Car) to be told they had no cars left. It was a roasting day - we were all hot & stressed and had gone out of our way to get to the airport for the car (we had to get a train, then from the train station it was a 12 minute walk away which we did in the blistering sun). Admittedly we had been emailed @ 8:27am to say the order had been cancelled but we had left our apartment by then and I didn’t think to check my emails on our way to the airport.
Wasted our time, money and spoilt our day. Good job we weren’t disabled or OAPs!
We were a party of 6 - Silicy by Car said they had no cars left apart from 1 really big one (which was an additional €120/day) - we ended up miles from anything and had to get a 7 seater airport taxi, which wasn’t cheap.
I feel the website should only advertise vehicles which are available - it would be fair to have a system that shows live availability!
I might use VIP Cars again as they did refund me straight away and bothered to respond however, I would advise everyone not to use if it Silicy by Car!

Just to add an additional comment: I used another company for my next 2 hire rentals of which one of them was also cancelled 😡 (a few hours after receiving confirmation). Until car hire companies give up-to-date availability there is always a chance of cancellation through a 3rd party however it’s definitely cheaper using one, I suggest as soon as you know you want a car book it there & then PLUS, check your emails regularly in case your order is cancelled.
