1 star is too generous, completely unprofessional!!
What a disaster at Amac Amsterdam. I ordered a MacBook Air here, and everything went wrong from the very beginning.
They entered my email address incorrectly, even though I spelled it out clearly three times. As a result, I didn’t receive a receipt which I urgently needed and specifically asked for. This careless mistake ended up costing me money. No solution.
Then I was told over the phone that the laptop arrived. One of the staff even checked the stockroom and confirmed it was there. Based on that, I made the trip to the store only to be told the laptop wasn’t there at all. Suddenly, no one knew anything about the call. No responsibility, no explanation, just shrugged shoulders and "we don’t know, we make mistakes."
I made it clear multiple times that I needed the laptop before Friday. That was completely ignored. Nobody knows where the product is now or when it will arrive. It seems like there’s zero internal communication like every employee is operating in their own bubble.
In short: terrible communication, no ownership, no service, no respect for the customer. You’d expect a premium Apple reseller to act with professionalism and reliability but Amac is the exact opposite. Ordering here feels more like buying tech at a flea market.
Avoid this store if you care about clear agreements!
