Buyer Protection is a Scam.
I purchased a Pro subscription via the Chatbot app, paid using PayPal, but never received access to the service. The app shows my plan is still Free, and it states “No subscriptions to restore” when I try to recover access. I contacted both the app provider and PayPal, but PayPal denied my refund even though I never received the service I paid for.
This directly violates PayPal’s Buyer Protection which covers “items or services not received.” I’m shocked that PayPal is siding with the seller despite clear evidence, including screenshots. This sets a dangerous precedent for digital scams being allowed on their platform.
