Delivery late by 3 weeks and NO message…

Delivery was 3 weeks late with NO notification sent to advise of the delay. I sent an email enquiring about my order but received NO response at all. I will be returning all of my orders and will not be ordering from this company again.

Response to Abode:

At the time of ordering, your website clearly indicated pre-Christmas delivery. There was no indication that the item was out of stock. Had it been shown as out of stock, I would not have ordered both mats. I ordered one for each recipient specifically because I understood they would arrive in time for Christmas. Otherwise, I would have chosen a different design.

Your website banner also clearly stated that in-stock items would be delivered in time for Christmas, which unfortunately did not happen in this case.

I was later contacted by email regarding the order on Friday 9 January, which was well after Christmas. By that point, the issue had already arisen.

This situation is not acceptable, and my review reflects my experience.

Thank you for your further comments. We would like to clarify the points raised, as some information in your review is not accurate.

Our Christmas delivery banner stated that in-stock items with a 1–5 day delivery timeframe were guaranteed to arrive before Christmas. This banner also linked directly to the eligible in-stock products. Items with longer delivery lead times were not guaranteed for Christmas delivery.

The mats you ordered had a clearly stated delivery timeframe of up to three weeks at the time of purchase. This information was displayed in two places on the product page: within the Delivery Information tab and via the colour-coded stock indicator, which confirms whether an item is in stock or available to purchase with an extended lead time. As such, the items were not shown as in-stock with guaranteed pre-Christmas delivery.

We did not receive any correspondence from you prior to Christmas to query delivery times. Had you contacted us at that stage, we would have been able to confirm the expected delivery date or cancel the order for you if required.

We also did not receive any request to cancel the order once Christmas had passed. As no cancellation was requested, the order proceeded to dispatch when stock became available in January.

If you have since received the items and would like to return them, please confirm the name or email address used at checkout so we can locate your order and issue a returns form. We are unable to find any orders under the name Rosie Price Heys.
