Excellent - highly recommend for quality, speed and courtesy
We saw a beautiful driveway when out on a walk. My wife said "I'd like our drive to be like that". I knocked on their door as asked for details and recommendation, both very good. So I phoned PDGR and was dealt with in a professional and friendly manner. A rep called to see me within a few days and spent a good amount of time going over everything with us both and then outside, not just measuring up, but also noting the specific idiosyncracies of our drive way (on a slope, very high step etc). Although he had all the brochures, we knew what we wanted and so the specification was easy and very clear in the comprehensive contract form which we duly signed.
The timeline was clear and the process was explained thoroughly.
With a start date confirmed, we were called prior to start to be told there needed to be a delay due to very bad weather (snow). A new date was agreed and the team turned up by 8am on the due date, checking in with us and going over their exact process and timings for the week. The team was not just communicative and polite, they also explained everything very clearly and left nothing out. They were courteous, not just to us, but also to pedestrians passing out front and our neighbours as their work and vehicles took up a fair amount of space on the road/pavement. At the end of each day, they cleared everything up, taking all rubbish (and tons of soil) away and ensuring that all areas had been cleaned and washed down. No skips, no mud.
The job only took 4 days and was of an exceptional standard. The team was superb and very experienced. Each person seemed to know exactly what to do.
The office staff were very polite when phoned as was the overall supervisor. Every question was answered and explained.
They were not local and had to travel to my property every day (approximately 60 miles). They were never late. They were around 20% more expensive than the cheapest quote I received but I am really glad we went for PD Groundworks. I cannot recommend them highly enough and believe that if you're making a big investment you want something that looks good and is going to last. We definitely got that.
