Shafted over shipping fees
I ordered a new chain and chain tool along with other bits and bobs to a value of over £75. I was charged £15 delivery for a package which was sent by post. I live only about 20 miles from the Kilmarnock shop but because I'm on an island they charged me a massive shipping fee. There is no extra cost to send by post to the island than to send to the mainland. I have spent thousands of pounds on bikes and other equipment from you but will not spend another penny in your shop after how I feel I've been treated

I would like to clarify why the shipping charges to Arran are higher. We exclusively use DPD for our deliveries because we experienced a high rate of lost parcels when using Royal Mail. Although the distance is only 20 miles, the Firth of Clyde requires courier services to apply "Highlands and Islands" surcharges.
Our actual cost to ship to your location is over £20, so the £15 charge is already subsidized by us. These shipping rates and the specific charges for island locations are detailed on our website.
