I love Fitflop as a brand but if you are buying because of foot problems (I have bursitis on one foot) the rocker sole is definitely the style to go for. I recently bought a pair of flatter trainers and the pain kicked in almost immediately. Luckily I had only worn inside and I was able to return. With the rocker sole style, I can walk around London all day and have no pain.
