Honest with their subscriptions which…

Honest with their subscriptions which is a sign they trust their product.

Their best beer is probably the milk stout but the AF lends itself to a quafable style so drinking the wheat beer by the 500ml or the lager by the litre is my favourite way to enjoy it particularly with a meal.

Triple hopped IPA is actually decent

Tried the triple hopped IPA after hearing bad things about the lager and preferring my AF to be hoppy.

Genuinely passable and does have an effect if you drink it on an empty stomach after a 16 hour fast otherwise not really noticeable for me.

This might be a plus or minus depending on your perspective but I found I can't regular beer in the same session as the Impossibrew throws my palate off and ruins the taste of the real beer.

REALLY IMPORTANT - the subscription is a single no hassle button press to cancel.

As soon as I'm flogged a subscription I always cancel it straight away to see how easy it is as it's a marker for how much I can trust the company and how much the company believes in the product. Impossibrew pass that test with flying colours.

Can't cancel subscription online

Beer is generally pretty bad tasting, hugely expensive and doesn't live up to their claims about giving any kind of relaxed buzz.

Worst of all it defaults to a subscription and on their perfectly designed slick website, the manage subscription link seems to be the only one that magically doesn't work at all.

Didn't show up

EDIT: Interesting to hear that he tracked being at the property but didn't show up on camera.
The following day he is on camera dropping a parcel on the doorstep, taking a photo and walking away then claiming his van broke down as he drove off in it. The second rescheduled pick-up for the following day didn't happen either.

Faulty GPU excellent support

Bought a GPU that suffered from the high junction temperature manufacturing defect. Only really bottomed it out as a problem after owning the card for a few months.
Contacted support who replied within 24 hours with postage paid return label. Unfortunately, the manufacturer didn't repair within the 28 day window so I got a complete refund of the purchase price. Refund was in within 3 days.
Support agent for both the initial return and the refund was Nemo S. who was top notch throughout.

One of the best

Very knowledgeable, passionate and friendly people who make genuinely outstanding beer.

Online orders are promptly packed and delivered with a good shelf life on all my orders over the years. Although you'll want to drink the hoppy beers sooner rather than later.

Roach Motel service.

Roach Motel service.

Easy to check in but hard to cancel clearly by design. I highly recommend using a disposable virtual card if you're thinking of using them so you can pop it when you want to leave.

Any company that resorts to dark patterns to retain customers is unethical and clearly doesn't trust it's product. The ultimate judge of a subscription is how easy it is to cancel.

Mon-Fri 10-5 after a long wait on the phone and a
pressure sell just doesn't cut it.

If you provide a "quality service" you wouldn't need to Roach Motel in order to retain business.

There is no technical excuse for a 10 year old technology company worth over £5M with a £5-50M a year turnover to not have have a simple one click unsubscribe.

If you had ANY faith in your product you'd have done it years ago.

Buyer beware

This is not a finished product. Industrial design was stated as completed in Dec 2021 but they are still prototyping now.

I have serious doubts they will meet a Feb '23 delivery perhaps even ever deliver anything and the product has not been released for review to any trusted third party so there is no honest third party feedback.

When you launched the compaign in January it was with the statement that "Industrial Design was complete".

In May "Manufacturing for Headphones + Travel Case is on track".

At the end of June "We are expecting the first samples with the final CMF to be ready by mid-July."

In September "we are in the prototype stage" but the delay is a "supply chain" issue.

You don't seem to be able to articulate what is going on and I have no idea what the status of the product is. As far as I can tell you're still prototyping the design.

So are we still on track for November 17th? Because i assumed the delay was to make sure production is done by mid October and they can arrive by mid November, but by the looks of things, full production hasn't even started and we're halfway through September. This is very little time to still be adjusting the hinge and sound and still production done for a November release. We going to get another delay at the start of November?

I can't help but be concerned that we are still WAYS away from shipping product. These seem like mid-Beta stage tweaks coming out of the R&D shop via 3D printing. Head-clamp pressure increase via the main headband, modified hinges, and physical EQ plates are not simple adjustments and would certainly need to clear at least one round of QC manufacturing in China before being "locked". While these tweaks will be beneficial to the finished product and see us all from getting pre-Beta-grade units as the "finished" product, I do think we need and deserve a truthful update on the production schedule.

Thanks for the Update and unfortunately I agree with Chris. You are working on the weakest points, which are the hinges, but also want to change the pressure of the head-clamp, which will make the hinges weak again. Also the video just stopped after 3:46 when Axel was talking about the PCB?!?! November 2022 is very challanging goal for the shipment, also it is black friday and something following on a monday, meaning the chaotic global shipment will get more crazy.

I unfortunately am also agreeing on this. I feel like the updates are not consistent, I understand things change, but I can't help but being skeptical, I backed this project for a promise for an amazing cutting edge product, I hope we will actually get it, I am a little concerned for what our friends are saying here.

BACS only seems suspect

Neutral review to reflect experience and to give the benefit of the doubt.

Seems extremely suspect that the only way to pay for items is via a direct bank transfer to a limited company.

This means there's no buyer protection and no way to recover the money if anything goes wrong.

I wouldn't advise paying BACS in advance for anything unless you really trust the company.

Don't meet delivery promises by some margin

Ordered with 3-5 working days for delivery. Over a week later and hasn't even been received by the courier.

Review of the shopping experience only. Items are yet to arrive.

Shipping only displayed on final checkout feels a bit dishonest as it felt like about 5 steps to checkout and the delivery only pops up at the latest possible moment.

After purchase you get sent to this hideous spam page that offers you a discount on your next order if you accept but in the small print underneath has a £15/month charge.

I'd stick to Amazon if I were you.

Edit: Item arrived in great condition, delivery was on time. Not what I was requested to review but included for fairness.
