It has been a pleasure to deal with LV- Britannia Rescue, why? Because they have not forgotten the how to talk or communicate to the customer with respect.
So many companies now have lost this basic skill.

I come to Britannia after 25+ years with another well known breakdown service who have forgotten how to communicate with their customers!

Competitive price and Prompt Delivery By DPD, Unfortunately the driver decided to not ring the door bell and left the parcel on the step....I had always considered DPD the best courier company by some margin, this driver has different standards!

Packaging......the items were loosely packed and arrived as if they had been in a tumble drier, the outer packaging of six out of the eight items were looking decidedly second hand.

If the "Life and Looks" is interested in its own image and the customer. I would suggest attention to detail needs focus.

This is the second Pacsafe® LS200 we have purchased, the first one was in 2019 and was used initially in Peru for four weeks. It had quite a hard time but survived everything.
After six years it is showing signs of minor scuffing but nothing serious.

Why only four stars? My wife has used this bag and I have only ever heard her complain about the depth of the main compartment.
It is only now since I have purchased the second
LS 200 for myself I realise her criticism, it really could do with an extra 25mm in depth this would do two things firstly and obviously it could take more items, but also it would keep the profile of the bag flatter when used to capacity.
The second benefit would be easier access to the interior pockets in the main compartment.

So if it's not perfect why have we bought a second
LS 200? Quite simply it's a fabulous product.

I Purchased an item from My Tool Shed, unfortunately the item was broken on delivery and I was unable to wait for a replacement so had to purchase locally.

The return of the item was handled with courtesy and professionalism and good grace. The item was returned post paid and refunded to my account within hours of receiving my return.
Why is this important? Because I will continue to purchase in the future, as I have in the past, knowing I will receive exceptional service.

I have many parcel deliveries due to on-line shopping, I actively will shop with suppliers who do not use Hermes. Why?
If I use almost any other delivery company they will allow me to select a different day for delivery if I am not in, simple you would think!
Not with Hermes, it seems the company is set-up for Hermes convenience and not the paying consumer.

Items are regularly left on the doorstep in any weather and for the convenience of anyone else who may wish to steal it. Taking a photo of it to say it has reached its destination would have no legal standing in a court of law.

Hermes, you do yourself and your customers no favours for your long time future in the delivery market. Your competitors are in a different league.

I ordered a specific angle grinder because mine had become unusable. Item was sent on time but not the correct model. When I spoke to FFX I was told they did not have stock. I then had to wait for the item to be collected, this was another day wasted. In fairness the collection was handled efficiently and a refund was repaid to my account within 24 hours.

Unfortunately when I received the incorrect item it was delivered in a very poor state with the packaging damaged and looking decidedly "secondhand"
I have complained to FFX about poor packaging several times in recent years but don't seem willing or able to correct this.
FFX has been my go-to supplier for small and major items for many years, this latest fiasco has forced me to shop elsewhere. Clearly no-one is listening.

We all have used Tech we promised ourselves we would sell in the future......and just don't get around to it! This is no longer an excuse with the fair prices and easy way of selling with Music Magpie.
I decided to sell and tried various recommended sites, some sites did offer more, but stated in the small print these were estimates. This was not so with Music Magpie the price stated was the price I got.
The hardest thing I had to do was post the parcel at the post office, and this was free. During the process Music Magpie sent emails to inform me exactly what stage the transaction had reached. and on day eight the money was transferred to my bank account. Excellent considering this was at the hight of the covid pandemic.
Well done Music Magpie team.......I will be back.
