Like the product but please don’t make everything so sweet! And offer a plain unsweetened version.

condition and courier issues

not happy with the condition of the pre-planted handing basket plants. And courier is consistently poor - box had clearly been upside down so lots of compost had come out and they seem incapable of following simple instructions to access building. Get rid.

Do not use

Terrible terrible communication. Clunky website and systems that make it as hard as possible to do anything after sales. Would not purchase again, products mixed but even the ok ones not worth the hassle.

A mixed bag

We had another very good holiday with Jet2, at MYND Yaiza - and are particularly impressed with their improved system for supporting passengers who need special assistance. We also received a lot of support from the in-resort staff when we ran into a medical issue.
The standard of accomodation at MYND Yaiza was very good, and the food and staff attitudes there were also both very good. We were in a junior suite overlooking the relax area pool - they’d upgraded us so we had a suitable room which was much appreciated- and it was clean, comfortable and had all we needed - except for instructions on the air conditioning system! You do need to be comfortable with smart phone / tv to get all the info you need at your fingertips - tho staff always helpful.

Lack of a welcome drink and potential queues to use the self check in needs to be sorted - not always enough staff on the floor to deal with sudden influx of arrivals and it felt a bit mean to not have that welcoming glass of wine or a beer after a long journey!

This hotel has its quirks - do check out the food offer if you are thinking of booking half board, it is a bit different to usual - but the flex in that package is very helpful it operates like a credit on your account - something Jet2 didn’t actually make clear. And one issue which did affect our enjoyment was the much too loud and very frequent times of loud thumping music being played in the outdoor areas including the ‘RELAX’ area invading the peace and quiet even in the rooms. I simply do not understand why this is necessary or even desirable. We all have different taste and most of us can listen to our own choice of music these days on our devices. Why have piped music at all in an area that’s meant to be ‘relaxing’? If you just have it limit the times, volume and vary the style! I had to raise this frequently with the hotel and they were responsive but - the issue kept recurring! This factor alone would prevent me from rebooking there.
We had some excellent food in the Lalama restaurant with terrific quality, imagination and service. We liked that both restaurants had table service. But some of the dishes in the main restaurant were not great - others were very good - so there’s an issue of quality and consistency there. The translations of some dishes also need checking!
The spa area is nice but limited and the pool really needs to be warmer there to make it comfortable to use as intended, as a therapeutic experience! Costly too.

Anothe bugbear was charging €15 rental plus a €10 deposit for a kettle! What? Never been charged anywhere for this before and in a 4* hotel it’s really unacceptable! Increase the deposit by all means but rental? No way.

I think there also needs to be a food offer in the relax area in daytime, we did not enjoy having to go down into the ( even louder music) family area to get a lunchtime snack !

Choice of wine in the lobby bar is also por and needs to be reconsidered. It is good in the restaurants so there’s plenty scope to improve this for drinks upstairs.

One point for Jet2 - we had to get a fit to fly certificate for return - which we did, at some cost as the state provided service won’t do this - and we were not asked for this till we were literally boarding the plane! That caused us some concern as IF we had not got it or IF something had not been in order through no fault of our own - we’d have been scuppered! Surely it should have been checked at check in ( which we did in resort) and then any problem could’ve been dealt with hopefully in time for the flight!

Also please make it clear Jet2 than resort check in will only take your main luggage even if you would be able to check in extra cabin bags at the airport as often happens now. I have to say well done to the resort rep at the check in who recognised the circumstances we were in medically and got authorisation to take one of our cabin bags too but only after a bit of upset and repacking and stress!

Poor choice on wider fitting and dubious quality

Virtually no choice on smart dressy sandals in wide fittings, tried many pairs from online and in store. Trying different combinations of size and width and nothing fitted. Also wasn’t impressed with quality many looked cheap and tatty.

Fab chilled week in Club Maspalomas

As always our experience with Jet2 was very good. Great app, lots of information and helpful friendly staff at every stage. Good value for money and very good quality holiday ( tho I had to search for something that would meet both our preferences and our budget - I do have concerns acout price rises for 2023)

It’s great to see more adult only resorts appearing and this was a perfect little haven of peace combined with terrific staff, good food and decent entertainment- I’d go back tomorrow!

I’d like to see more info and support for people with disabilities to help them select appropriately and liaison with the specialist team at that point of after booking needs to be easier,
However we’ve always had good or great holidays and are happy with the service - apart from wait times to get through sometimes if you need to call.

Lots that’s positive

As always it was easy to research a potential holiday and then book it online with Jet2. The site is easy to use and had useful features like shortlists,
I would like more choice of winter destinations though and two-centre holidays would be a great addition!
There just needs to be more information to support disabled customers to make food choices and speedier follow up from Special Assistance team - they are super helpful and efficient but it’s not fair to have people waiting till close to deostruire date to have that conversation. I hope they will invest more in this.

Fantastic quick speedy efficient service. Kris was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. He not only did the job he gave us good advice to help keep the washer dryer in better nick in future. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Almost perfect

Very similar to walking sandals I had before which served me well. Love the little flash of pink these have now. They are so comfortable as previous ones were and well made fitting the contours of my tricky to fit feet very well. My only hesitation is that the Velcro attachment at the heel seems to be a bit short on length - which wasn’t the case with the last pair - so it is coming loose too easily which could be a problem.
