I bought a pair of Muck Boots almost two years ago for walking our dog in the winter. I chose Muck Boots because I felt that paying nearly £100 for a pair of wellington style boots would mean that they lasted. They’ve been really comfy and effective in use but have recently developed a split between side and sole. I only ever use them in wet conditions in winter, on soft ground, and the soles show no signs of wear so when I contacted them about the issue I hoped to hear a positive response. Unfortunately this is not the case- they’ve decided this is “wear and tear” and are unwilling to do anything about it. Poor customer service- if i wanted a pair of boots to last just two years I’d have bought cheap ones. Buyer beware.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer replacements for boots that are no longer covered by our 12 month warranty which covers manufacturing issues. Grumpy driver but the bus was on time, which makes a change. Usually the divers are very nice but the buses are late!

I am really sorry that the driver was grumpy on this occasion :-(. Maybe he woke up on the wrong side of the bed! We do have a lot of helpful, friendly drivers as you stated therefore we do hope this was a one off occurrence and we will get this passed onto the depot.
We do hope to see you travelling with us again despite this experience.
