Excellent service

Excellent service provided by Alasdair who was very helpful and listened to our request regarding a silver chain my wife was looking for.
He came back with exactly what we were looking for.
Pass on our thanks to him.

Excellent Bailey Bed Set

Product orders were dispatched earlier than expected, and quality of goods was as expected.
The only downside of the purchase was the delivery company employed to dispatch to me. Evri took another 10 days, yes 10 days to actually deliver it to me after numouruos emails and telephone calls.
Will avoid using Evri at all costs in the future.
These problems were nothing to do with Primary Leisure I might add.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

My Stihl FSA 45 arrived within 3 days of ordering online, the box was damaged but had been taped up, (before despatch I assume) upon opening the trimmer looked ok.
However the cutting blades X4 as shown on contents were missing.
THE MAIN REASON FOR MY 1 STAR RATING WAS CUSTOMER SERVICE. I phoned and explained the problem of missing blades and was told the from customer service was on the phone but would ring me back. 5/6 hours passed and no call back, so rang again only to get an answer machine.
I decided to email customer service as advised on the delivery note and explained the above problem.
An automated reply came back straight away stating I would be contacted within 24 hours,that has not happened I'm afraid.
So now I am left with a trimmer with no blade's which I shall have to purchase elsewhere.
Therefore if you want to use an online company for garden products WITH good customer service DON'T use Garden Machines!

Update Since I posted this review customer service emailed me and requested photos of the damaged box, which I sent straight away, I still await the missing cutting blades, or further contact.

Hi Mr Glanville. We feel this review is incredibly unfair. Within 48 hours of you reporting that your strimmer box was missing it's blades, we have sent out to you a replacement pack of 8. This left our warehouse yesterday with Evri and we would expect you to receive the blades within 48 hours of sending.

TimeLine
Customer ordered 6th June
We sent order 7th June (Friday)
Customer received 10th June (Monday)

Monday 10th 2:52PM customer emailed to advise the blades were missing from the box, in the email they advised they had called earlier that morning and requested a call back (we have searched our phone records and cannot locate this call) and were already making an official complaint in their email (less than 5 hours after receiving the item) as they had not heard from us.

Tuesday 4PM we asked customer to supply a photo of the box as they advised it had a hole in it in their original email. We are trying to work to a 24 hour response window but we did just miss this.

15 mins after customer emailed photos of the box

Wednesday 12th 9AM we emailed the customer our apologies and advised a replacement set of blades would be sent to them. Which we actioned straight away and the order for the blades was processed by our warehouse at 10:13 that same morning.

Good Service But Exspensive

Plus point......In the last 14 years I have only called upon the services of the RAC twice, and the service was good.

Minus point... For a long serving member it is expensive and there are no reductions for continuing as a member each year.

If the cost of my continued membership next year is not economically viable I will switch to another service which is cheaper in the same way I switch energy and Insurance etc
