Almost got scammed by TUI/Marella

TUI almost got away with this SCAM!
Review based solely on this scam and not their onboard staff or the cruise itself.

I specifically booked and PAID for a particular cabin. As I was doing 2 consecutive 7-night cruises, this would save having to change cabins and also more importantly, avoid specific areas of the ship with noise.

Got the cabin key and went onboard to the cabin, opened the door to find clothes already in he cabin.
Long story short they assigned the cabin to someone else despite me having paid for it, emailed proof, and the cabin key. Despite this, they gave us a cabin directly under the Live Room/Atrium Bar. So it was constant noise EVERY NIGHT. The only other cabin they could offer was a balcony at an appx 700 GBP additional cost.

No compensation was given, no voucher for the inconvenience. I was told to contact their after-cruise support when the cruise ended.

This I did and was told by the agent who called that they can not give me a refund for the money because I got a cabin in the same category of deck 2 or 3. As I explained to her that this is the same as if I opted to have them select my cabin for FREE, which I did not do, but they stuck me with the free services and no refund. She was adamant in her view that I was not entitled to a refund and ended by saying "sorry we can't agree on this". An email from this agen was also ent to me stating the same basic things.

In the end I had no choice but to open a case with my bank along with all the proof. They eventually reviewed it and issued the full refund for the cabin.

Don't be scammed by TUI/Marella!!!

Highly recommended especially on cruises!

I've been using them for about 2+ years and always works flawlessly. The odd times I have issues, their customer services is very efficient and they're always able to troubleshoot the problem.
The packages work out very economically, especially when cruising. Definitely highly recommended.

Typical "free" real estate scam

Typical "free" real estate scam. You list your property for free then after a few days you get messages stating someone is interested in your property. I clicked on the reply and was then told I need to upgrade to Gold to see and reply.
This site and a few others operate this scam to send fake interests to new free listings just to get the paid memberships. Then you reply to these inquiries and never get a response.

Beware of typical scams and look out for the signs.
Many positive reviews for this site on Trustpilot... but study the reviews. Very short answers and generally from persons with 1 to 3 reviews total.
The negative reviews are generally more lengthy as the person has "actual" experience with the website.
Yes, it's indeed possible to pay for reviews on these types of sites. Automated bots that generate a range of reviews based on a selection provided.

Absolutely horrible UK customer support staff

UPDATE AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS....
Staff onboard 100% perfect and efficient.... customer service online etc are unfortunately some of the worst within and outside of the tourism industry.

Literally year after year and they never fail to amaze me with literally the worst service possible! Numerous cases of calling or asking via their chat a question and being told one thing then a day later or so to hear something completely different. I have even been told that it's not possible to book a cruise from a specific location when I have done this more than once and had another cruise booked. Asked another agent later that day and they said yes it's possible. It's like there's NO training that goes into their customer service.

A year ago I personally paid for an upgrade on a cabin, only to get an email 2 days before the cruise that I was downgrades. No refund or credit provided onboard and was told to open an "after cruise report" when I returned. A few emails and they finally said they'll look into the refund for the upgrade fee paid. Emailed, no reply... this went on for weeks with never a reply or update about a refund. In the end that case had to go through the bank in order for me to get my refund that way.

More recently, a request was made for an assisted cabin on one of their cruises. The assistance team replied and stated sure they can assign it just let them know to confirm ASAP. Within the hour a reply was made.... one day passed no reply.... follow up email made... still no reply...next day came... cruise was fully booked!! This is literally the type of POOR SERVICE that Marella offers via their UK team!

If it wasn't for the onboard staff that helps to make this company a bit better then it would be a complete failure. Heard similar sentiments over and over from cruise passengers (unsure of their flight and hotel service).

I don't know if TUI/Marella would ever get it right but it's so many years with the same thing I can't see anything changing.

UPDATE
This is to show how poor the service is with TUI and the corrupt staff they have working.
I went to their online chat to ask a question about a cabin for an upcoming booking. The agent "Siobhan" said she can't give me the info because she "assumed" it was booked by an agent because of the email address. I provided ALL the verification info and advised it was my personal email but she refused to answer. I advised as she was no help to please end the chat so I can save a copy of it. She kept sending messages and never ended the chat. It eventually just timed out because she refused for me to save a copy or leave a review for her service. Rest assured I saved screenshots which I'll make public once I find an appropriate website.
Right after her unhelpful chat I went right back to the chat and got "Marwen". He/she asked the typical verification questions and answered the question I was trying to find out which Siobhan refused to answer.

With regard to the "reply" that TUI gives to these negative reviews. I've supplied the requested info they asked for and as expected, NO ONE replied/followed up.
Take a look at TripAdvisor for the numerous negative reviews of ruined holidays etc.
Yes they occasionally get it right mostly due to resort staff and ship staff but their internal department could care less. They're still "afloat" because of good external service not from anything else.

EXCELLENT onboard.... POOR Management Customer Service

The service on their ships (namely Marella) is absolutely phenomenal with attention to detail, friendly faces and also there to to serve. Have absolutely no issues with this part of the company.

The issue is with the management and senior staff as they have not even 5% of the customer service etiquette of the onboard staff!

Been trying to contact ANYONE from their Sales & Marketing department and no one is interested in replying. Sent an email to another senior department to ask for a possible additional contact in Sales. They read the email and said nothing. I sent another email... they read that too and said nothing. Mind you this was in connection with something to BENEFIT Marelella.

Other issue I found with their behind the scenes service. On one of their cruises I booked a specific deck to get away from the lower level. Two days before the cruise they said I've been downgraded back to the low deck. Onboard I had to switch cabins two times due to noise. Others on the same cruise received a £100 onboard voucher but ours wasn't there. I was told to open an after-cruise report etc. I did that and never got a response. Had to send emails and they said they'll refund the amount paid for the upgrade. Never happened!
After about 4 months fighting with them back and forth I had no choice but to open a case with my bank. Sent all the proof and email where they promised and never delivered and I was able to get the funds from the bank.

Despite their POOR customer support service I am booked to sail with them again but ONLY because of the onboard staff!! The rest of the company is a complete waste!!

Absolutely worst customer service & scams

Long story short...
I booked a hotel that was to include a free taxi. The didn't work when I was trying to book the taxi.
I contacted customer service and they said if it doesn't work to book the taxi normally and send them the receipt after my trip for a refund.

This I did and first took for ever and multiple messages for a response. Then was told that I didn't qualify for the refund I asked and why and they didn't reply. I contacted the taxi section directly and they said go back to the hotel section because they can't help.

In the end I had to open a case with my bank and got back my money that way.
Bunch of scammers!!

If you have an eSIM cabable phone then this is the place

Literally the best money-saving option when travelling. I've used their service in multiple destinations and cruises. Everything works flawlessly and the one occasion I couldn't get connected, their customer service told me what to try I was online in less than 30 min from contacting them.
Highly recommended!!

Scam company... Beware!!

The absolute WORST transfer service in Panama!! Do not risk your time with this place and if it shows up on as Booking.com reservation for your taxi CANCEL the reservation!!

1st time we used them via Booking.com the driver demanded an additional $5 in cash which he said was to pay tolls. After asking Booking.com about this they indicated that ALL fees/tolls are included in your rate.

2nd time with them ...all transfers are to be private but they put us in a van with someone else going to another hotel in the area.
After this we never used them again and canceled if it came up with booking.com we always canceled.

Now we have a client who wasn't aware of the poor service with this company and unfortunately booked with them.

Despite the clients indicating a specific pickup time for their transfer, the driver refused to acknowledge it and left the clients at the airport. A call to his manager at FarahTransport was made and the manager agreed that the driver should leave the passengers.

If you arrive in PTY for T2 and multiple flights are on the ground, especially KLM, Iberia etc, then expect Immigration to take up to 1 hr or more. This scam company is aware of that and it's why they don't honor any other pickup time than based on flight arrival. This way you will never make it out in time and they basically keep your money.

Do not be a victim of this place!! Do not trust them in ANY WAY!!

SIM didn't work and they refused to refund

I tried this place and tried all the settings they suggested but didn't work on the same day I purchased. They said they'll refund the money paid in 7 business days.
This never happened. I then had to contact PayPal for assistance. They also reached out to them without a response. It then took about another 2 weeks before the case deadline so I could finally get back my money,
Never again with this place.

As an update, after their sim didn't work I purchased one with Mobimatter and it worked immediately without issue.

Below budget customer service

This place has some of the worst UK customer service ever experienced!!

Their website has been giving issues for almost 2 months and the Facebook team is somewhat good if you are asking a general question. But if you have a complaint the literally IGNORE you. I have mentioned this website issue to the FB team and it was clearly read the next day and almost 2 months later then haven't bothered to respond.

Calling them is another waste of time. Literally spent over 40 min on a call with them once to get one issue resolved. No one seems to know anything and keep passing you from one section to the other to see if anyone else could help.

Lastly I tried the email. This was somewhat ok but again you get to some agents that are just not professional or helpful at all! This particular agent clearly knows the poor service he/she provides because they never include a signature with their name. How can you respond from a company email without a name or signature like if you're replying to a friend from school... POOR SERVICE!

Lastly I mentioned to this same "invisible agent" that since their last site update, the merchant name for credit card payments now changed from TUI to PACKAGE POWER SEARCH. This is flagged by some banks and twice I had my card blocked because of this. I contacted TUI and the invisible agent had absolutely nothing to say about this.

Their cruises are not bad at all and I highly recommend them BUT their customer service to get on a cruise is absolutely HORRIBLE & POOR. They're only 2 agents at this whole company I can recommend. The others are of no use and only a big disgrace to TUI.

Unprofessional SOLO staff!!

Second attempt at this bank.
Their online customer service by email is drastically improved, but it all ends after that.

The SOLO banking has what I consider the worst agents banking. You may get better service from someone at McDonalds! Twice I had to deal with them for "premium" service. The first one eventually messaged me via WhatsApp to explain the services, I asked about explaining requirements and she read the message and no longer replied. She obviously couldn't be bothered.
I again contacted customer service and asked to be passed on to another agent as the last one didn't reply.
This one started out nice but I asked about an item that wasn't mentioned via customer service and as expected, that was the last time I heard from her as well.

The persons Bank of Georgia has chosen to work in their premium division are an absolute WASTE! Unless you're used to crappy service, this is NOT the best or safest place for your money. I can see there being an issue with the account or card and you having no response from anyone with regard to your money. BEWARE!!

After over 10 years with Aeropost Barbados I've had it !!!

Been using Aeropost since its inception with on and off issues over the years. They are "usually" not too late BUT 2 issues have forced me to never again use them and switch to another company.

ISSUE 1
One item that was around $50 took an unbelievable 3+ months to clear from their Barbados warehouse!! Despite repeated calls no one could give an update and I had to sit and wait for the process.

ISSUE 2
I urgently needed an item that I was due to take out of the country after it arrived. This item was under $20 and it also isn't a dutiable item in Barbados, so no taxes etc. I paid Amazon for their Prime service just to get it to Aeropost quickly. Having arrived in Barbados a good 3 WEEKS before my travel date I was optimistically confident that it would be ready. Despite emails to their local customer service (NEVER any reply) and calls, no one could say when I would get the package.
Also not to mention that 2 other items that came in AFTER have already been cleared and collected.

This was an extremely important item and unable to travel with it due to the horrendous service!! It can't be purchased where I'm going and shipping it makes no sense with the costs associated.

Well done Aeropost!! You've increased shipping rates, reduced customer service, and delayed the time for customers to get their packages. Their rates should be no more than regular mail as you're not paying for any difference in service/speed between the two.

NEVER AGAIN !!

Buying fake reviews defeats the purpose of quality service

Tried this service twice and still no response from them.
For the first request, they sent a generic reply email and I provided more info for the flight .. it's still showing 0 days Awaiting Quotes in my account as no one replied.
Same situation with the other flight request.
Ended up contacting a place called LTM jets and got a much faster response and booking sorted.

As someone said below with the reviews, it's very interesting to see that all of their 5 star reviews are from new users. Puzzles me why these new charter companies need to buy fake reviews instead of just concentrating on providing good service.

LunaJet, Netjets, XO and even VistaJet that's a direct operator and not a broker has a review average in the yellow and under 20 reviews for all of these companies. Yet PrivateFly expects persons to believe their almost 900+ 5 star reviews?!?! As a charter broker they should know too that the average private jet passenger has no time to sit and write reviews. Hence why the companies with "real" reviews have so little.
But I guess that's their trick to fool the public.

Second time ... still same poor service

Against better judgment, I decided to give Jettly a second chance to redeem themselves and the same poor service.
They seriously can't be providing private jet charters to clients. Asked for a quote for an aircraft with full details. They gave me an estimate and I asked for the "final" cost. This took another day and gave me on an aircraft that wasn't suitable. It took another day for them to get me the right quotes. Asked again if the emails were the "final/live prices" ... they said they'll check with the operator and let me know. This has been about a week ago with no response from them. I ended up checking around and got another company to get me an aircraft in one day. This Jettly is a waste of a charter company and nothing more than a SCAM!!

Buyer beware... all their "positive" reviews here are by persons with only 1 or 2 reviews. Jettly needs to stop buying fake reviews and concentrate on real customer service. (Yes Jettly, the general public knows how to spot fake reviews and knows they can be bought) SMH

First thing I write about ISSUES found in certain places. If you have a problem with that then fix your issues.

1. I don't need to read your TP reviews. If you're paying for fake positive reviews that makes no sense. Instead of trying to pass the blame on EVERY negative review you all get here.... maybe it would be more beneficial to fix the issues people are complaining about. Every single negative review you all reply to and find an excuse for it.... ALL!! But yet your "positive" reviews you never reply to and even say thanks. Is that because they're fake and makes no sense to reply?!?!

2 & 3. Don't tell me to "just ask" for a quote if this is what I did to your agent about a week ago and she has up to now not responded.

Card blocked since December 2021.... no access to money!

Been battling with Payoneer since December 2021 to get my money they have held.
They blocked my card since December and for months I've had to submit all types of proof and documents just as a Fiverr freelancer. Yet after finally providing all the documents they asked for and having things verified. They still won't release the funds on the card they blocked since last year. I can't acess it on my account and the card no longer works.
Cotacted their customer service numerous times and no replies. Because I made it public on their FB page they also blocked me from commenting on their page. That is to show the low level of this company. But I will place the truth in other places as they are trying to hide things from real users of their platform.
Serious red flags for placing your money in Payoneer!!!

Your reply draws reference to an email on 03/21... I have followed all your email insrtuctions and each one when I logged in would ask for the douments and then show the ones that needed updating. The last time I uploaded the invoice that shows the "payment amount, name of both parties, date and show up in your Payoneer Payments". Aftter this was submitted I no longer get the notification on my dashboard that anything else is required. All of the documents have been submitted and I have a screen shot to prove this that there's no long a notification bar asking for documents. So please don't LIE to the public statign that I have more info to submit!!

4 months later and Payoneer still holding my money

Latest update to this fraudulent company!!

It's been now 4+ months trying to get back MY money that Payoneer refuses to give me access to. NUMEROUS emails were sent to their "customer care" and no one can assist.
I have NO interest in EVER doing ANY business with Payoneer and only would like back my money they're holding.
I signed up to the place to receive payments from Fiverr freelancer site. They're saying that to have access to the account (not even the money yet) I have to provide all sorts of details.... some of which are NOT possible!! All of the things that are possible I sent and they still have done nothing.
* How can people provide their name, address and phone number on a website they don't own?
* If you have one or 2 of those things only (eg in your profile) it's not good enough, needs to be all.
* My Fiverr username (like most people) is not the same as my legal name. No one on freelancer sites have that and only use a "username". It's not possible for people to prove that who work on freelance sites.
* They asked for an email correspondence... I sent orders, messages and even payouots that went to the same Payoneer account. Even that is not good enough for them.

This company is the absolute worse!! Withholding money from people that are doing nothing wrong is ILLEGAL!!! I'll be sure to place all these datails on public social meda sites and tag every news agency weekly unti this is picked up on the news!

A few months ago I friend of mine almost lost all her money because they closed her account without giving her a reason and she lost all access to the money. It wasn't until it became a legal issue they allowed her to withdraw the money.

A few weeks ago I realized my USD & EUR card were listed as canceled even though they aren't due to expire until next year. Also they completely removed the access to my USD ... WITH MY MONEY STILL THERE!!
I have contacted them numerous times and all they do is repeat the same generic message. Possibly too because they use India as their customer service location. All warning signs!!
I have no access to my money and they have done nothing!
Now I need to do the same route and take this matter to a lawyer to see if I can get back my money and wirthdraw it from this fraudulent company!

No banks will ever deny access to your money (unless you're into something illegal) but Payoneer is closing accounts and withholding money without reason!
BEWARE !! This is not a bank and they are liable to do as they wish and even close completely without warning!

Nothing is as it seems with their quotes

For a company that's been advertising their service constantly, it's interesting they're no reviews or even an option for Google reviews..... however....

I've contacted them on numerous occasions for flight quotations and ALL were inconsistent. The option for estimated prices are just that "estimates" and don't reflect additional fees, taxes etc.
The "live" flight request still is the same ... they send you a bunch of "estimates". On two occasions I've asked for "live" prices and after giving the clients the figures and ready to book. They then indicate the prices would be higher for additional fees.... this ranged from $4,000 upwards to an additional $15,000.

They provide some of the most inconsistent quotations and unreliable information ever experienced. The only positive from their website is that you can get a "rough estimate" on flights. However, if you shop around you'll probably get the same flight somewhere else at less or the same price without the extra fees/mark-up.

Lastly, I found it quite amusing that depending on your departure location, their reply signature provides that country as if they have dedicated specialist for each country. Happened twice with the name xxx followed by "xxx Area Charter Sales" .... yet the same person appeared as a completely different Area Charter Sales on another request.

Not the best option for charter flights.

Unsure what I write has to do with Jettly. If a company provides poor service in my opinion there's a freedom of speech.
Secondly, if Jettly has so many negative reviews already on Trustpilot, they should be more focused on fixing the issues rather than petty business practices talking about what others write.

Estimated prices don't include landing fees/take off fees, positioning fees, crew surcharges etc. and only factor in the average hourly rate of the aircraft class (ex. light jet) flown from point A to point B - so you'll definitely want to speak with our team to get live rates/quotes on bookable aircraft! And we're always happy to provide you with an updated estimate by email. Just ask us!

3. Regarding our agents - we have agents all over the world and every one of them is assigned to multiple regions of the world, which is why you'll find this happening every time. We try to keep things organized and professional here at Jettly!

Not to be trusted

Nice looking website with POOR service. Asked them a simple question to see if it's possible for the to do a construction job... rather than reply, they read the message and blocked the contact.
Do not trust this company with any project or your funds! I can see them easily doing this to any client.
