This has so been worth it

This has so been worth it. Complicated health matters mean eating properly is increasingly hard and I’m not a natural cook either. Sticking with the testing and using the app is paying off after just 6 weeks. The first 2 weeks were hard work and the app needs a little improvement as I battled with its instructions on the first day. Everything else around the packaging, the support and the guidance worked very well. Now it’s brilliant - very easy to find good tasty simple recipes that help improve my health issues and that fit into working life. suggestions for improving food scores are practical & also easy.

Where’s Vinted? Forget seller protection it’s a marketing ploy

As a long term trusted private seller I’ve never had any issue with eBay - but had a dodgy buyer who bought expensive earrings and claimed they were fake because the box was different to one she already had (so the box not the earrings!!). I had proof of purchase confirmed by the jeweller and eBay told me several times they would protect me as a valued seller then rolled over and refunded her. I’ve had to go through multiple hoops of explaining yet again what’s happened to find out what they’re doing about my reporting her. Fundamentally nothing so I have no comeback, am out of pocket on expensive postage and wasted hours of my life trying to get eBay to support me as a valued seller. Where’s Vinted!

Buyer beware whilst they close down

First Delivery in June great - now they’re closing down my £10 fee was taken on 12th September and due 22nd - and you get notice of what’s coming. Nothing.
Very worried.
Be careful if using for their last
Month or so.

Appalling experience in March 2023 - definitely not recommended

Appalling experience in March 2023 following an accident covered by LV. Couldn't use any other repair company and had such a bad time with Gemini (and LV) that when I had a no-fault accident in May, I used the franchise's own insurance scheme rather than put up with LV and Gemini again.
Took 5 days to get a nasty filthy courtesy car that I couldn't upgrade and that was disgustingly dirty on arrival with a fault in the tyre air monitoring system. Stuck with it for 3 weeks and it knackered my dodgy back.
2 new tyres were needed and they called to ask where I wanted them - I asked for the front. They left them both on the driver side. I had lost the will to live and was happy to be done with them, so didn't ask them to come out and change them as I didn't notice on delivery.
Think the car was done with OEM materials as I repeatedly insisted but I was nervous of the quality of work based on the quality of experience - to the extent I had a health check by my franchise afterwards.

Absolutely appalling experience when actually needed and £300 hike on renewal

Great quotes - absolutely terrible when needed in March 2023 to the extent that when I had a no-fault accident in May, I took a route through a a Hyundai branch and their insurance scheme rather than repeat the experience with LV.
Appalling repair company - filthy nasty courtesy car that took 5 days to arrive, killed my back for the next 3 weeks and whilst LV contributed something towards the hire car I had to get to cover the gap, I was out of pocket.
They wouldn't agree the accident was dangerous driving by the other party - at night, snow (but not that bad), doing a 3 point turn right across both sides of the road after a long bend on a t-junction with a major road in a black car without flashers.
I'm out of pocket significantly and they increased my renewal by £300. Still need to take it to the ombudsman and put a 1-star review on the repair garage (Gemini in Leicester).

Still no contact / QA no longer worth my time and money

Not surprised after my experience through 2021.
Sad.

My issues match so many others and have wasted vast amounts of my time, money and patience throughout 2021:
- Account managers never reply so you have to remember to chase them - this has lost me months of being able to book courses on an expensive skills licence that I bought myself.
- The last course I did cost over £1000 and was for a BCS exam. The tutor would have been great in a real world scenario but this was an exam course and they wasted 2 hours at the start with an ice breaking exercise plus had a terrible Internet connection so hours of time were lost.
- I booked 3 online learning courses which I wasn’t able to get into for over a month due to a major security issue on their side. There was no communication when the system finally started working again so I lost even more time because I’d given up checking.
Last year I did an amazing course with a fantastic tutor - this year QA has just not been worth the investment.

Dear Management - communication and service improvement essential

PS thanks for the invite to contact you on social media to discuss - I don’t use it on principle as I’m in IT Security!!

Long term customer and a happy one. This issue feels minor in comparison to others but there are 2 themes coming out in recent reviews that MANAGEMENT need to do something about ASAP before they lose loyal customers.
Went to place order - no option to use Ocado. Wasted time logging in & out etc then contacted customer services.
They’d hoped to offer this until 24th sept when some new service launches on 26th and hopefully then things improve.
Wasted time on chat to find this but more importantly, apparently there was no point escalating my request to management to put some alerts on the website so other people don’t waste time, because nothing would change.
Wanted the stuff anyway and still cheaper than my other source - but am now nervous because I didn’t clock it was hermes and they are the worst courier in my area.
So dear management, you have a major credibility and service issue.
It’s in your hands with some simple communication as a minimum - and preferably making loyal customers think you’re worth sticking with.

How not to do a mobile app and switch off the website

Why wouldn’t you switch off the online site for credit cards to replace it totally with an app - that you can only have on one device (and you can only manage one card with it).
Inspired.
Even more inspired - 2 messages when they locked my app whilst I was trying to install it on a different device - with 2 different phone numbers. One said open between 8.30-5pm on a Saturday. The voicemail said we close at 3pm...
The other message gave a different number which couldn’t help and didn’t know that the inspiring mobile app team closed at 3pm.
Added to which the latest statement email sends you to the website to download it. WHICH IS CLOSED AS THEY’VE REPLACED IT BY THE APP AND CUT SHORT SATURDAY SUPPORT WHICH MEANS WAITING UNTIL MONDAY. And the call direction system is a mess.
Apart from that absolutely inspiring example of how bad a user journey and experience can be because Virgin haven’t joined any of it up, let alone thought through ‘what happens if’.

Seriously considering giving up

Seriously considering giving up after many years as a loyal customer. Yet another one of my standard brands has been dropped - and no Ocado, I don’t want any of your alternatives otherwise I would already have ordered them.
The taste difference on Waitrose v M&S could have been mostly bearable but combined with regular substitutions and non delivery this is getting such hard work.
I haven’t appreciated the blackmail on accepting substitutions- and that their systems still cannot cope with the concept of ‘I only want this product for a reason’.
Life is way too short - aren’t I the customer?

One star - insurance claim charge and delay

One star for the £16.55 charge for processing the insurance paperwork for an emergency appointment - combined with their delay on actually processing it - seriously! My follow up with my normal vet got paid before this one which they didn't charge for.
Vets Now only processed it after I chased it.
Very happy with the actual vet care - but then they were from my normal practice not the Vets Now emergency service at the same place, so I would be.

No refund, no communication, avoid

No refund despite chasing and no communication. Recommend reporting them to Trading Standards and hopefully you can get chargeback/credit card cover if you are also waiting for refunds. These are difficult times but it's our money and if Aosom can't operate, they need to be honest and stop taking orders.

Idiotic delivery of large cardbox box thrown over the gate in torrential rain

Massive issues with deliveries from Hermes all over my village in Northamptonshire, some getting referred to the police. My own experience was just total idiocy - a large cardboard box with clothing in thrown over my back gate - in the torrential rain. It had melted and ruined the coat by the time I got home. Love the way that Hermes avoid getting a central view of how bad their deliveries are by pushing all complaints to the original supplier, not taking responsibility themselves.

Ridiculous company

Ridiculous company - courier threw a cardbox box over my gate in rainstorms on Monday despite my rearranging delivery to a neighbour. No way of complaining about this on Hermes web site - and more importantly, asking them to stop their courier throwing packages over my gate.
