Had a wait of maybe 5 minutes before transfer to an agent, Faraz. He went through security procedure thoroughly, was very polite, understood my query and provided a clear reply. Great service, very professional.

I've had a Wiser Kit 2 for 11 months

I've had a Wiser Kit 2 for 11 months, although new boiler installed by a gas pro, the controls were selected and installed by me. Installation was a piece of cake, made easier by backplate being a straight replacement from the old. Hub and therostat worked first time, no issues until yesterday, when thermostat display gave up, which turned out to be a battery failure. Sought advice from Wiser, it seems that if battery voltage drops below about 1.1VDC, display is blank but keystrokes + and - still work. They clarified an issue within about 10 minutes, batteries replaced and all OK. Excellent and prompt service.

This is about the joining experience

This is about the joining experience, however the main means of determining an insurance company is when comingto makea claim, I hope that we will never be in that's situation. Joining was quite straightforward although seeking information from a human could have been more straightforward, but once contact made (to clarify an issue with the policy) situation became much easier.

I'm a long term client of Investec

I'm a long term client of Investec, in recent years they have changed their savings investment portal, predominantly for the better. Thier interest rates are very competitive, their range of products (instant access, 90 day and one year) are good, although for retail clients like myself I would like longer term products to be available. Online service is excellent.

Excellent service

Excellent service. I have used Sparkworld a couple of times, ordered Lec freezer in mid August, given an estimated delivery date of mid October. Delivered today, I was advised approximate delivery time, they were spot on, packaging removed, item inspected, all very good, including great price. Hopefully the freezer works as well as its supplier.

Have only been buying from CCLonline for six to eight weeks, around 8 orders so far, all turned up as described, in good time and good order. No problems so far, time will tell. CCL are my first choice right now, long may it last

I am a recent convert to CCLonline

I am a recent convert to CCLonline, having previous used a couple of other suppliers who I now won't touch. CCL have performed well so far, helpful customer service, standard delivery works well, their packing is very thorough, no damage so far, pricing is quite competitive too. I suppose the real test is when it comes to returns, although I hope never to make any, so 5 stars so far

Purchased an Ebac washing machine…

Purchased an Ebac washing machine 28/12/2019, expensive but it was the model we wanted and available elsewhere for less. Delivered and installed on 30/12/2019, old machine taken away (extra 15 pounds). So far all is well, only 4 stars as we havn't had the machine for very long. This is our third major purchase from HBH Woolacotts, they are not always the cheapest of retailers, but staff knowledge is generally very good and free delivery/installation is useful. They will remain our first or second choice for future purchases. Finally, on the down side, they are very reluctant to negotiate prices.

Thank you for your review Ian. We do offer a price match promise, where we will happily match another major retailer's pricing on a like for like basis; so where another major retailer has a product priced excluding delivery or installation, we would match on the same terms.

Don't buy here

I always try to review products and services, good or bad and the vast majority of outcomes are either 4 or 5 star. I purchased a bed from this company, paid the advertised price plus delivery charge. It arrived at specified time, but with missing parts, informed them within an hour of delivery, was asked to visit the following day to see if they have missing bits, they didn't, but I was given other parts that didn't fit. Contacted them again, this time I was asked to provide photo(s) of missing parts and list other issues, like no CE documents, no assembly tools, no assembly instructions. Today I visited again, in my own time at my own cost, managed to obtain the vital missing parts, but still await documentation. In terms of service, this company don't have a clue. I normally look at reviews in advance of most purchases, but in this case I relied on a personal recommendation - big mistake. If you want to pay a premium price, get rubbish service and be offered no form of compensation, then head for Fairway Furniture. I should add, bad reviews don't seem to bother them !

I had 4 tyres replaced 1/8/2019

I had 4 tyres replaced 1/8/2019, hadn't used HiQ before but they had been recommended to me by a neighbour. A very positive experience, from the moment we arrived we were treated well, whole process explained, technician examined existing tyres to ensure we had ordered correct size and type, gave us an estimated time, then rang us when job completed, walked around car with us to show what had been done, mentioned that there was some wear to brake pads, but not pressure selling.
Will certainly use their services again and happy to recommend.

No problems, hence 5 stars

We've been with Tonik for just under a year, received email yesterday informing us contract expiry soon, went around some of the comparison sites to find that Tonik still seem to be in the top three regarding costs. We have had no problems with them, reliable in terms of DD payments, communication etc. and have found their customer service staff knowledgable and polite, hence 5 stars

They are hopeless

They are hopeless. I placed order 23/11/2018, didn't arrive within 10 days, they reorder, arrived but was was faulty, returned, they reorder, arrived but was faulty, so I request refund, email from them dated 0845 8/1/2019 stated refund would arrive within 3 working days, by midday 16/1/2019, still no refund.
Their service seems to have deteriorated to this point over the last 12 months or so, they are unreliable at best, suggest you buy elsewhere.

Update #1 - have just got an eNote update from them pointing out that refunds take 3 to 5 days, they have ignored their email which states 3 days, they have also ignored the fact that its now 9 days since they agreed refund. Hopeless is as hopeless does.

Update #2 - Am now into day 10 awaiting refund which according to their email would be with me in up to 3 days. I'm really not sure if it's down to dishonesty or incompetence. If it were possible to award zero stars or less I would have done so.

Update #3 - 18/1/2019 - Had email from Ebuyer (Kat) this morning, they are now saying that I must wait 3-5 days for refund, but because things have gone wrong, I can have free delivery on next order (paraphrased). They really think I would place another order through them - delusional !!!

Update #4 - 23/1/2019 - Had email from Ebuyer last Friday evening, requesting my bank details so that they could refund me by BACS, do they seriously expect me to hand over bank account details to a company with so many failures to their name. I replied a.m. Monday 21/1/2019 refuing bank details but demanded a cheque be sent by guaranteed next day delivery, received email a few hours later to say that a cheque refund has been authorised, I am now at the end of day 16 of a process that Ebuyer indicated to me would take up to 3 days. Can they be trusted, no, can they be believed, no, go elsewhere, they are a waste of space.

Update #5 - My final update on this bunch, a cheque for refund has arrived and been cleared by my bank. My view of the company is unchanged, spend your hard earned pounds with companies that give you working products and good service, so not this one.

I've only just received the product

I've only just received the product, so the rating is based upon the buying and delivery experience. Richer Sounds seem to offer great deals, this TV no exception, good price, the extra 5 year warranty very useful, hopefully not needed. The courier company, excellent, they offered 3 hour window and delivered 5 minutes into it. Highly recommended
