The most ludicrous situation

The most ludicrous situation, ever! I booked nine VIP ticket with table for the Trevor Nelson event in Windsor and wanted to add a ticket. I telephoned Skiddle and was advised by the agent that I couldn’t add an extra ticket, I would need to re book 10 tickets, send Skiddle conformation of the booking and Skiddle would refund me for the original nine tickets. That was two days ago. I now have 19 tickets and £2000 on my credit card! Despite asking for confirmation of my email confirming my ‘new’ booking, I’ve not received any correspondence from Skiddle regarding my refund so I will now have to call and wait at least 30 minutes to speak to an agent. It should not be this hard. I can honestly say it’s put me off going to the event.

Trying to contact Skiddle is…

Trying to contact Skiddle is impossible. I emailed, no reply then called every day for two days, was number two in the queue each time I joined the call, then cut off each time after 30 minutes waiting.

Customer service were great

Customer service were great, and replied quickly. However, the policy on sale items is the issue. I bought two pairs of LK Bennett shoes and before they were delivered there were further reduction added. I contacted the CS team to ask if I could be refunded the difference, (£40) and was told no! I’ve returned both pairs and reordered from the LK Bennett site.

Great quality, great price.

The diamond necklace I ordered is really lovely and I’m so pleased with the quality of the diamond for such a reasonable price. Timescales were good and I was kept up to date on the progress. Packaging is really nice and it came with a GIA certificate. I highly recommend the Diamond Factory and will definitely use them again.

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service from start to finish. I had to wait a few weeks for the products I purchased to come into stock. However, was worth it as substantially cheaper than Furniture Village. I was kept up to date via email on delivery status and received a phone call to confirm delivery. I also received a phone call the day after the delivery to confirm it went well and I’m happy with my products, which I am! What a nice touch. It really made me feel that my custom was valued. Will definitely be using CFS again.

Poor Returns Process

Really disappointed with the returns process. No options to send separate orders in one package so charged twice. It’s now been two weeks since the return, 11 days since the refund was issued and it’s not in my account. I sent my application for a passport renewal at the same and I’ve had that over a week!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on your recent experience.

We do advise to return orders seperately to avoid issues with your refund being processed.

It also insures your returned items should the parcel be lost or damaged during transit.

Should a parcel go missing or be damaged, we can only refund items we have verified tracking for.

Refunds can take up to 14 days to be fully processed, however should you need a more definative date please reach out to customer services who can take a closer look into this for you.

We sincerely apologise for any disappointment you experienced due to certain pantry items being excluded from your delivery. Our aim is to constantly improve and find ways to reduce packaging waste, and one way we're doing this is by minimising the use of small plastic sachets and packets.

In our efforts to reduce food waste, we've listened to feedback from customers who expressed ingredients such as honey, mayo, or oil are commonly found in their kitchens. Therefore, we made the decision to treat these ingredients as pantry items that customers are likely to have at home already. By excluding them from the delivery, we can help reduce unnecessary packaging and hope to minimise food waste.

We do understand that certain ingredients like salt, pepper, butter, eggs, and oil are typically essential for cooking. Therefore, we make sure to mark these items as pantry items in our recipes. However, there are cases where transporting certain ingredients, such as eggs, can be challenging and may not meet our quality standards during delivery.

We appreciate your understanding and feedback regarding our pantry item selection. It helps us continually refine our approach and better cater to our customers' needs.

KM use Royal Mail!

So disappointed with KM! First time using the site, paid for the premier (next day) delivery which is not received two days later! Wasn’t aware KM uses Royal Mail, which is a red flag for me. Also poor communication from KM - told to wait 2 weeks! Product needed for this weekend so will be returning for refund.

Proof of Address

I’ve purchased a few products over the last year or so and this time I was asked to provide proof of billing address by way of a utility bill. I thought this was a scam so contacted Customer Service, it’s legit! I paid via Apple Pay so no idea why my address is an issue? I actually feel insulted and am certainly not willing to share my personal details by replying to an insecure email especially when it’s not clear why they need this information and what it will be used for.

Excellent Customer Service

I cannot praise the customer service I received from Charlotte at Shadestation enough. Unfortunately I had an issue with my Tiffany prescription glasses, which I raised via email. My issue was dealt with promptly, glasses replaced within two weeks! The service I received from Charlotte was so good that I’m in the process of ordering a pair of prescription sunglasses and will be recommending Shadestation to friends and family.

Poor service

Received Allsaints boots from ASOS, birthday gift for my daughter and they were not in the original packaging and the box provided was awful. No way could I wrap and give as a gift! Contacted ASOS via chat to ask if they could send me the original box. Told to return the item and order again, with 10% discount. However, the boot is out of stock in the size I need. I asked if I could be refunded the 10% on this order. Answer no! I asked for a contact number to speak to a person. Apparently ASOS only have a live chat platform to resolve customer issues. Told the resolution is to return the boots. That’s me done with ASOS. It’s becoming like an expensive version of SHEIN!
