Delayed orders

I’ve been a Minerva customer for many years and a Craft Club member, but my last two orders have experienced significant delays — neither of which involved POD fabric — and I wasn’t informed of any issues. Looking at other recent reviews, it seems this may be an ongoing problem.

Unfortunately, I won’t be renewing my Craft Club membership, and I’ll be reconsidering future orders.

Hello,

We are so sorry that you have experienced delays with your latest orders at Minerva.

A small proportion of the products we sell at Minerva are stored at an external warehouse and the handling times on these products takes a little longer than normal. Looking into your latest order we can see that we still haven't received your buttons in from this warehouse yet. We're so sorry about this - it usually only takes 2-5 days for this and your order has taken longer than that.

We have arranged for the rest of your order to be sent out to you immediately, so you won't have any further delays on these elements. I'm afraid we don't have a firm delivery date yet on those outstanding buttons though, so please do get in touch if you want to cancel that part of the order.

We can only apologise for the delays you have experienced with this and previous orders. We will look into what we can do on site to make handling times clearer, so you and other customers can make informed decisions on what to order for the quickest turnaround times.

Cat Sitting

We had to go away at short notice & unfortunately the cattery we normally use were fully booked which is when I found Rover.
Rover is app & web based. It was easy to see which sitters & services were available, I made a choice of a sitter for daily drop in visits & received an answer from them within 15 mins.
Sascha came to the house a couple of days before we needed her to collect a key, to meet the cats & to see what care was needed (primarily food & litter tray). She came in daily at an agreed time & I received an update & pictures of the cats for each visit.
I would definitely recommend using Rover to find a cat sitter again. It was cheaper than the cattery, provided daily updates & the cats were happy being at home.

Looks & feels great

Looks & feels great. Lightweight & comes with a great little pouch.
Only used for a sofa snooze so far but it worked a treat. I am heading off on an overnight coach trip next week without the other half so hopefully my trtl will save me from any embarrassing nodding off on a strangers shoulder incidents!!

Do not sell your preloved items on this site

This company should have 2 sets of reviews, one for buying & one for selling.
Do not sell your preloved items on this site. It sounds so easy-get a bag, fill it & they will do the rest. Well that is when it goes wrong.
I received my bag & filled it with shoes (I recently broke my ankle & heels are no longer an option for me).
I was duly emailed to tell me that my bag had arrived & that there would be a delay with processing the contents-not a problem I was not in a hurry.
When the items were sorted I could not access the listings on my page which took further correspondence to do this.
The items were so poorly photographed & displayed it was no wonder that there was little interest.
I was disappointed with their initial pricing but I was still thinking that this was OK as I had no stress & agreed to sell them.
Very quickly they reduced the prices or retired the items. Ultimately 8 pairs of shoes including Gautier wedges & Gina sandals & all I have to so for it is a £20 voucher & 79p credit.
Now on to buying-this is where Thrift+ get their great reviews. Put an item in your basket & watch the price fall...... My husband attempted to buy back my Kenneth Cole boots for a bargain £3.79 but as they were in someone's basket we could not.
I know that I will get a reply to this email explaining the condition of the items etc & I went into this fully aware of Thrift+ conditions. This is the reason I sent a fraction of what I have to sell to this site & I am so glad that I did. I would rather have given the items away.
In conclusion do not sell your precious items on Thrift+ it is heart breaking. I will be doing the hard work myself in future.
However if you are looking for an absolute bargain purchase then this is your site.

Great service

We sold our house after 9 days on the market & 1 afternoon of viewings which happened before the board even went up. We sold for more than the full asking price. Emma Simpson was our lead agent & has worked really hard with her property partner Edward Alexander to achieve the quick sale.
I love the messaging service on Purple Bricks so that I can "chat" to my buyers without going through the agents or giving personal details.
I personally have only praise for their service

Great service

The service we were offered was great. We had one day of viewings resulting in 3 offers.
We had 2 named estate agents who provided a quick response to our questions & kept us informed of our progress.
I would recommend this service.

Delayed dispatch

I have never had any issues with Space NK in the past however on this occasion they have still not dispatched my order 8 days after I placed it.
I chatted to someone on line but was just told that they were busy & had not processed my order yet & could cancel it if preferred.
Not the best customer service I have had from them

Don’t be fooled

Don’t be fooled. Their website looks amazing & There is a great choice of fabrics & supplies. The only snag is you may never get them. Like other reviewers I have not received my overdue order & have only received automated replies to my emails (asking me not to spam their in box!)
The website only shows their glowing reviews & not their overall ratings. The comments other customers have left on Facebook have been blocked on my phone although I can see them on Instagram.
I have resigned myself that I may never see this order reading the other reviews & hope that someone else reads this before making the same mistake I did.
If my order does arrive I will be happy to leave a review for the quality of the goods that I have ordered but not for customer service.

Bulb were very easy to switch to & meter readings are all done via the internet. I even got money off my bill for referring a friend.
