In my view, footware products are highly priced, poor quality and customer service is extremely disappointing.

I have both bought shoes and insoles from this retailer which have worn badly with limited wear outside or fallen to bits without being worn inside the flat.

I have taken this matter up with the specific store staff and manager but have been fobbed off in numerous ways without any recourse.

Feeling very foolish that I have spend a huge amount of money with this retailer over the years on footwear that essentially looks good in their store.

I hope this review is helpful to other customers.
Beyond disappointed and going to buy foot-ware elsewhere in future.

Spent over 90 minutes on the phone holding being transferred from department to department only to be advised that I need to visit the branch.

The information provided by all three departments was incorrect.

Why do Virgin not train their staff to be able to provide basic Customer Service on simple queries.

Not really sure what the point of an online banking when you need to go to a branch.

Going to have to revert to getting an old fashioned cheque to make a payment from my account in the 21st century and look for a new bank afterwards.

I haven’t used Kwik Fit for repairs in over two decades until I on a visit to Largs at the weekend when our Mini developed a major braking fault on the big hill coming into the town.

We were given an estimate which matched our check on the Internet of the usual cost and we were able to see the fault for ourselves by dropping by.

Our braking system was replaced at a competitive price and whilst the car was in their garage, they noticed a separate fault which could have caused a further breakdown. Whilst the separate fault is outside of their scope, they were able to diagnose the specific problem.

I very rarely experience transparent, straight forwards value for money work with excellent customer service in any commercial transaction so I have felt compelled to write a review.

Had to leave and cancel our booking at the table - so bad. The dining experience is atrocious and they don’t get it! The George Street Restaurant is not remotely interested in providing a pleasant dining service.

I was joining a group of friends in their new restaurant. The meal was booked and confirmed under an offer from a third party website.

They were not aware of the offer and we invited the manager in from the beginning to resolve the situation. After about six opportunities the manager agreed to honour the deal with no apology or humility.

By this time he has completely killed the dining experience before we has even started. Our group of eight friends split up with those who were utterly appalled, including myself, leaving.

When you go out for a meal you go out to have a good time and meet up with friends. You shouldn’t have to be put in a dilemma as to leave and cancel your booking especially when you have all got together to meet up and are obviously hungry.

I am still really unhappy about the managers appalling attitude to his customers. Fortunately there are other restaurants in George Street and Edinburgh.
