Very Disappointing Reading.

I paid for a 2-question email reading and was very disappointed with the "general" quality of the reply when compared with other, less-expensive, email readings I've had in the past where the information I received was far more specific and relevant to me, and not something someone could find out on social media etc.

This reading could have been created by anyone really, not necessarily someone "psychic" and was really a total waste of money for the poor quality. There were a lot of spelling errors too, but that's just me being pedantic!!

Overall, not recommended.

Delivery was rescheduled as the lockers were full, but I was able to collect the following day early on. All good, tracking worked properly too.

Terrible Experience!!

UPDATE
The coat was "returned to sender" unexpectedly yesterday and arrived back with the sender today! How is that even possible, when it took 10 days to get to my area? It was sent from Hartlepool to South Somerset but somehow got back there in just over 24 hours!

ORIGINAL REVIEW

I bought a coat from Vinted which was dispatched/collected from the sender's drop off point on 20 November. By 27 November the tracking hadn't changed so I contacted Yodel by InPost who said that on enquiring with the depot, they had "no concrete information" about my parcel.

Yesterday 30 November, I had a message saying that they were unable to access the drop off point at 12.30pm, which is a newsagent that was OPEN from 5am until 5pm (I checked with them and they shared their CCTV showing someone working at the sales counter). The tracking didn't even say "Out for Delivery"! And then, instead of rescheduling the delivery, it said they have returned it to sender! I thought they were supposed to make 3 attempts at delivery!

So not only did I have a 10 day wait for my coat, but now it'll be even longer as it'll have to go back to the sender AND I'll have to pay for the shipping again!

You can be sure I won't be using Yodel by InPost for that.

Very Disappointing and Time-wasting Experience!

Having read all the positive reviews for this company I thought I would get a quote for my iMac. This seemed competitive and would save me the trouble of selling it privately, so I arranged for a collection. As I didn't have any packaging, they have a system whereby they would send a box for me to put my computer in, reseal and use the return label inside.

I was going away for a few days so arranged collection for the next working day, Monday. However, I had an email on the Friday saying DPD would "deliver" on the Saturday to "exchange" my parcel which, it said, must be ready to exchange.

I was at home on the Saturday, as it happened, and when the courier arrived he asked for the exchange parcel so he could leave me with the empty box! I looked in the box and saw packaging but we couldn't find a return label. When I explained that I was meant to use that box for my computer, he said as he only had just over one minute per delivery he couldn't wait. I asked if he could leave the box and he said only "in exchange" for my parcel that was meant to be "ready". I explained that the original collection was booked for the Monday, so he said he'd arrange for that to happen.

I emailed MacBack about this issue on the Saturday, but heard nothing back from them on the Monday. So I phoned them and they said that it was too late for the Monday collection (not explaining why my original booking had somehow ended up on the Saturday, when I was expecting to be away anyway) and would change it for the Tuesday.

The DPD tracking said "being held at xxxx depot" and I had no time slot by 12pm as promised. So I contacted the depot, which was a call centre somewhere, and was told that it would be collected by the "end of the day", which he said was 7.30pm, even though MacBack said their couriers only work between 9am and 5pm.

I called MacBack at about 4.20pm and was on hold for 10 minutes and then cut off without having spoken to anyone. When I tried phoning again, I got the answerphone saying they were closed.

So, having lost all faith, I ended up sending them an email asking to cancel the whole thing, which they did the following day.

Having read some of the negative reviews, I saw that several people had been offered a lot less than the original online quote so I decided I would probably be better off selling my computer privately, rather than waste even more time having my computer assessed and then possibly having to have it returned for that reason.

While we always book collections and box deliveries for the dates requested, the timing of the courier’s visit and delivery attempts are entirely managed by DPD, and unfortunately, we have no control over when they choose to deliver or collect, including if they attempt a Saturday delivery instead of the agreed weekday.

For clarity, the return label is always included inside the box, ready to be used once your iMac is safely packed.

We’re sorry that this situation prevented you from completing the process and that communication delays added to your frustration. Wasted 2 whole days waiting in for nothing!

I was expecting a delivery of an empty box, sent by MacBack, to enable me to sell my computer. The process was supposed to be that the courier delivered the box (which had packaging and a return label inside) and I would put my computer etc in, seal the box and attach the return label.

As I was going to be away, I arranged for the collection to be on the Monday, but then had an email saying they were delivering on the Saturday before. I did happen to be in, but the courier didn't seem to understand the process and said he could only give me the box "in exchange" for a box already containing my computer. We looked in the box and couldn't find a return label either. I explained that I was meant to put the computer in the box he brought (why would I need an empty box in exchange?!) and that it would take a while to pack it as I was expecting to do it on Monday. He said as he only had just over one minute per delivery, he couldn't wait, and couldn't leave the box with me without the exchange! He said he would arrange for it to come on Monday as planned.

I phoned MacBack on Monday morning as I hadn't had any contact from DPD and they rebooked it for Tuesday. The tracking just said it was being held at my local depot. I phoned the depot and ended up talking to a nice Indian (?) gentleman at a call centre (with a very poor phone line), who assured me, after speaking with the depot, that it would be arriving before 7.30pm. MacBack had said their couriers only work from 9am to 5pm. So I phoned MacBack at 4.20pm, was on hold for ages then cut off, by which time they had closed. Of course, the delivery never arrived, so I had lost faith in the whole system and asked MacBack by email to cancel the whole thing, which they have done. Madness!!

Generally good experienc

Was late arriving to my locker as they were full and as the order came from Vinted, they couldn't take it to a nearby locker instead. Then the parcel was the wrong item, so I had to return it to the seller which I was able to do easily. Generally I'm pleased with InPost but sometimes it seems to take longer than expected

Brilliant! Highly Recommended.

Brilliant!! Great price for refurbished iMac which arrived quickly, all shrink-wrapped and well packaged with the proper power cable that incorporates the Gigabit Ethernet port, which I needed as I prefer not to use WiFi. I was also able to get a slight discount as I didn't need another mouse or keyboard. All working perfectly so far - I'm very impressed by the service and product I've received.

Great Experience

Good price for 3 x 70cl bottles of Black Forest Kirsch, which was also very good quality, we thought. Arrived quickly, all tracked etc. Very pleased with the company.

Easy way to send a parcel

Handy to have a drop off shop about 10 minutes’ walk away. I feel more confident handing my parcel to a person rather than leaving it in a locker

Great price, great service

Our loft hatch door had broken so we wanted a replacement asap as it is so cold up in the loft! Looking on Toolstation it was easy to find one the correct size, at a good price and with free, next-day tracked delivery if ordered before 9pm. What else can I say? The installation video was very helpful too - so my OH and I were able to fit it quickly and easily, despite being a couple of OAPs!!
