Cancelled order and received full refund

I’d spent couple of hours researching dehumidifiers and reading reviews and various ‘best lists’ from Which, Telegraph etc. Then saw this D2 Humidifier from Marvics, very decent advert and separate independent review, so unlike me on a whim, I ordered it. It was only later that I read about the company and reviews including Trustpilot.
I decided to cancel the order and received a ‘sorry to hear that’ email and offers to reduce price etc with 3 days to let them know. I replied stating that I had changed my mind and as I was within the 14-day cooling off period and they hadn’t dispatched the product (within their 3 day notice period) I wanted a full refund. Wasn’t hopeful!
To my great surprise, a full refund was made 2 days later. I may have just been lucky, sympathy to those not so. 4 stars given purely because the company did the decent thing and refunded as we would normally expect.
Off to buy from Amazon or Curry’s, as I normally do.

Mirror Wills - quality, professional service

My wife and I had agreed prior to contacting Co-op to opt for 'mirror Wills '. Our allocated consultant was Andrew Ford who, apart from being a lovely person to talk to, was thoroughly professional, extremely informative and without any agenda to push. He guided us through numerous 'what ifs' and alternative options, and agreed to follow up a week later once we had time to reflect.
There is much more to consider than you'd imagine when making a Will, but we are now very comfortable with our decisions having discussed honestly and openly with someone who really related and understood.
Just waiting on draft Wills to arrive, but based on this experience, we would definitely recommend this service from Co-op. Thanks again Andrew.

Have used Cartridge Save for 2 years…

Have used Cartridge Save for 2 years and always had a prompt and efficient service. Recent black cartridge wasn’t functioning as normal. After carrying out all the fault finding steps suggested by Cartridge Save, it still didn’t work properly. Contacted by email on a Friday evening to update, and without any quibble, a replacement was dispatched and received on Saturday lunchtime. Pretty good in my books 👍

Quality product

Bought myself an HP printer last Autumn. Didn’t want to pay premium prices for HP ink so found these guys. Ordered two black cartridges which were delivered next day, complete with pre-paid returns envelope, eraser to clean circuit board, reminder stickers and a pen - you couldn’t help being impressed.
Cartridges fitted perfectly and worked a treat. Just ordered another black and a colour for the first time. Yet to use the colour but if as good as the black then happy.

Pressure Cooker Vent Tube replacement.

Pressure Cooker Vent Tube replacement.
Easy to identify part and then order. Arrived within a few days by Royal Mail.
Genuine parts always best.
From an eco view, the vent tube is tiny yet it was delivered in a very large Jiffy bag.

3-tier bolt free shelving unit

3-tier bolt free shelving unit. After sorting out a cluttered garage I really needed a couple of low shelving units for some of the ‘stuff’ that was left. Found what I wanted at Toolstation online and popped to local store at Solstice Park, Amesbury, to collect. Unfortunately, there was only one in stock but more at other local stores. After erecting first unit I popped up to order a second. An extremely helpful chap called Martin said he would arrange to source from another store. He called back a few hours later to say it was now in store. When I went to collect I learned he had driven a 30-mile round trip in own car just to get this for me. That is ‘above and beyond’ for me; hope he gets refunded for his fuel. Martin - thanked you at the time but let me say it publicly.

Cancelling Homecare Agreement

Rang to cancel Homecare agreement as the 1 year special deal for Homecare 1-4 had finished and renewal price was well over £50pm. All seemed to go well and agent confirmed the auto renewal had been cancelled. A week later I received an email thanking me for renewing ; checked bank to find payment had been taken. Really annoyed I rang and got through to Emma and after explaining the situation she cancelled the agreement and arranged a refund (normal 7-10 days), so will look out for that. Human error? I don’t know but extremely frustrating and time wasted trying to undo something caused by someone else.

I have been with HL for 6 years and

I have been with HL for 6 years and, being honest, find the application easy, informative and intuitive to use. However, the .45% management charge has always niggled with me. I am at the point where I don't want/need to trade and just want to take an income from my equity funds, but will be heavily penalised if I remain with HL. I have asked HL several times if they would consider offering some kind of flat rate for those that don't or rarely trade - no movement. Therefore I am in the process of transferring to Interactive Investor and saving £1000 per annum - every year.
Fortunately, I bailed out of Woodford early and didn't make a loss but do sympathise with all those who have lost out. Hope this is of use.

Help with ISA transfer and other stuff ...

Thanks to Tom Hammond this morning who put up with this 'newbie' trying to work out best way to move ISA funds, set up payments etc. Tom was patient, reassuring and confirmed everything with others before confirming to me. Hope to get you next time.
