Unfortunately my visit to Specsavers in Harringay Sainsbury's was really unpleasant. I left the ophthalmologist without any feedback regarding the results of my examination and apart from 2 prescription for glasses. I waited approximately 1 hour for the Doctor to release the summay of the consultation, as well as, my NHS voucher which the staff were reluctant to issue arguing that I was not entitled with Child Tax Credit but accepted after I conducted a google search showing the NHS/GOV webpage confirming entitlement...Because of the long waiting the person whl was serving me told me I could leave and that the glasses would be ordered and voucher release upon collection. I waited 2 weeks and no glasses, I contacted this store and learned my glasses had never been ordered because "I didn't pay", I explained it wasn't my fault and because I was left waiting for approximately 1 hour to finalise my order the colleague guaranteed me he would sort everything out and use the voucher after. I was faced with the same reluctance regarding my current NHS voucher entitlement and I was creating doubts myself, at the end we proceeded to place the order over the phone...Overall was a really clumsy, unprofessional and unknowledgeable experience. Curiously I have visited the same branch with and for my son last year and had a pleasant experience.
I will not be returning to this branch for future appointments.
