I have had a bad experience with Sykes holiday cottages. Obviously I couldn't commit to travelling at the beginning of May and needed to postpone, possibly to next year. The company refused to answer the phone or my frequent emails. Their website suggested that I change the date of my holiday but I was unable to do this as there were no other suitable dates available. On the day that the balance was due to be paid I was forced to cancel the payment so I lost my deposit. I had 2 other breaks booked with 2 other holiday companies, both of them gave me a full refund with me even needing to ask.SHAME ON YOU SYKES HOLIDAY COTTAGES FOR YOUR PROFITEERING AT THIS TIME OF WORLD CRISIS
