Learnt my lesson shopping here. If something seems too good to be true it probably is but as I have used Brandalley before and was really happy with them I thought I would give them a go. Purchased presents for my father in law in 30/04/2025 and ordered a molton brown box and a tshirt items were pretty quick to arrive and came separately but then i realised the box was open and then the T-shirt had marks all over it like it had already been worn. Raised the issue and was told they would email the seller about the box and to return the T-shirt, I asked if I could keep the shirt and would try to remove the marks if I could have a partial refund as they do not do exchanges so would have to make a return wait 7 working days for a refund to then reorder and wait up to 5 working days for delivery. I then didn’t hear anything g until today when I chased it and the reply about the shirt and the box was the same send back for a refund, no exchanges possible so would need to reorder. There was also no apologies about the box just if you’re not happy with it to return it. They obviously flog returns without checking quality, I am now without a gift and won’t receive a refund until after the birthday so will be doubley out of pocket until I get the refund however given my experience so far I am guessing I will have to chase the refund up too. Learnt from my mistake and will never order again.

Leased a property that they had turned the electric off to and called to get it restored so that we could start renovations, my partner was told by an advisor that if we didn’t produce the lease we would be liable for the previous tenants unpaid bills, I called back and spoke to somebody and when I pointed out that we could provide proof of our identity and they had the previous tenants name on file and therefore couldn’t be billed for her and told them I do not appreciate scare tactics and the advisor had no clue what to say. Now they will not reconnect unless we pay a reconnection fee and all the standing charges for it being empty! We did not accrue these charges but they have you over a barrel as to start renovations we need power, the worst part is there is no power to the property do they have done nothing to justify charging the standing charges and then having to pay to reconnect when the shut off had nothing to do with us. They obviously do not support businesses and only care for their greedy selves, it’s fair to say I cannot wait to be able to switch and get away from them!

Edit as it gets worse:

They won’t reconnect us for 6 weeks and want us to pay a large deposit for if we don’t pay so we are now being penalised for another persons actions that we don’t even know

Brilliant clothes at reasonable prices and customer service is excellent too especially Bridget who massively helped me and responded so quickly to get my query sorted.
