The meat hampers consistently offer excellent value for money, with high-quality protein and the meal tubs offer a great range and are really tasty. The variety is a big plus, and it’s clear a lot of care goes into the food itself.

My only significant concern, and the reason I’ve held back from giving five stars, is the volume of plastic tubs used for the meal packaging. While I understand the need for practicality and food safety, the number of containers quickly adds up, and it’s not realistic to reuse or store them all. As a result, many end up being discarded, which feels wasteful.

I’d love to see a more sustainable approach to packaging, whether that’s recyclable alternatives, a return scheme, or reduced plastic use overall. Addressing this would make a great product even better.

STOP CALLING ME! I want my contact details to be removed…

If I could give no stars I would. I want my contact details to be removed from your database. I have requested this about atleast 20 times on all the phone call I have received. Stop phoning me! I do not need your service. I managed to sort out my own situation. Stop calling me. I ask my details to be removed and all the callers just hang up on me. Your customer service is absolutely appalling! Don’t let them get hold of your details cause they will harass you forever!!!!!!! This is a GDPR breach as I have requested my details to be removed many times! I am well within my rights to request my details to be removed. This was only for some guidance from Money Wellness and they have not stopped calling me!!! I am so sick of your phone calls!

I am extremely disappointed with the…

Update post: I have been contacted by the customer service team and after a few back and forth conversations, I have now received a brand new air fryer from Tower. I would like to mention the support has been really great that I received from Tower. Thank you!

Original post: I am extremely disappointed with the Tower air fryer I purchased from Argos in August 2023. After using it almost daily, the timer dial has completely broken off. I spent hours searching online for a replacement part, only to discover that Tower does not offer spare parts for my specific model. It’s incredibly frustrating to realize that I essentially need to buy a new air fryer every 20 months. Given how often I used it, I expected better durability and customer service. Very poor experience overall.

We were very surprised to read your comments as from our records we had no previous contact from you regarding your rare issue.

Our Air Fryers come as a complete unit so a timer dial is not a recognised spare part which customers can purchase online.

That is not to say we cannot seek a spare timer dial or indeed pursue a warranty claim for your product.

Rude telesales person

Went online to see what the pricing would be like. I am aware of the first orders being heavily discounted but realise the price after that was not within my budget. I didn’t go ahead with my order. I then get a phone call from some telesales person asking about my order. Explained that it’s not for me and it’s too expensive and they just hung up in my ear. That’s very disappointing and just rude. If this is what you are like with potential new customers what are you like once you receive your customers money ….

Absolutely the worst service EVER!!!

Absolutely the worst service ever. My company is going into administration and I am stressed about my situation. I was looking for some professional advice and I somehow I got to Just Answer UK and I did the £5 trail. I saw I would get a refund which is not true and found out today that after 3 day trail I get charged which was not clear when purchasing. I have since been charged charged £50. If I knew my 1 question was going to cost me £55 I would have never gone ahead.
After chatting to someone on the online chat and explaining my disagreement of the charge. They where extremely useless and told me it was clear I would be charged. I am not an idiot and would have seen that I would be charge. It is NOT clear!!! Don’t waste your money as the one question I paid £55 ended up being an answer with a link to the Gov website which I could have just googled myself and saved myself money.
If you want help with your situation best to just Google or ask a friend as that is better help than what I received!! Absolutely disgusting service !!!
