Not great to be honest

Not great to be honest. As far as I’m aware they have repaired my tv under warranty. But the problem now is THEY ARE COMPLETELY UNCONTACTABLE! I’ve spent hours and hours listening to the same piece of boring music whilst no one ever picks up the phone! Despite getting message after message literally TELLING me to call them to arrange a delivery of my tv. What on earth am I supposed to do if you don’t ever pick up the phone?

Woman on the phone initially was really…

Woman on the phone initially was really helpful regarding a network port I needed installing so no issues there. The problem arose when the engineer didn’t turn up the day he was booked. And then after rebooking didn’t turn up the next day either. So multiple hours booked off work for someone to just no show two days running. Cancelled and will look elsewhere, shoddy.

Unfortunately, there are occasions when unforeseen circumstances outside of our control lead to delays or prevent our engineers from attending as scheduled. However, we fully understand how frustrating this must have been, especially after taking time off work.

Awful, awful company

Absolutely rubbish company to deal with. I signed up for fibre with them at the end of January and they sent engineers out mid February to complete our install.

This didn’t happen as apparently there was some kind of blockage and they needed to send out another team with the tools needed. Fair enough I thought.

So, in a nutshell I spent the rest of February, all of March, all of April trying to get this resolved with customer services and I continually got fobbed off with “give us 10 working days!” Etc etc.

With still no movement towards the end of April I again emailed customer services and got no response. I sent another email a week later, no response.

I then early this week sent an official complaint outlining how bad the customer services were giving all my examples and timelines and then stated I had no option but to cancel the whole thing and look elsewhere for my broadband.

The response from Lightspeed? A quick 2 minute call to go through my details and cancel everything. No explanation, no apologies, nothing.

What a waste of 3 months. Appalling company to deal with.

If Lightspeed want me to put my details up for clarification that this isn’t a false review, I’m happy to oblige.


EDIT:

As a footnote to the review, the new broadband installation happened on Saturday 17th May and the new company had no issue whatsoever getting us up and running. Which make the whole LightSpeed debacle even more frustrating. Just what the hell were you guys playing at for 3 months?

Ordered a personalised mug from them

Ordered a personalised mug from them, order sat at pending forever and no replies to any emails. So had to chargeback throigh my bank to get a refund. Not even sure this company is still trading to be honest due to lack of any communication, but seems their website is still up and taking orders.
