I don't often give five-star reviews, but my experience with Pension Pulse has been overwhelmingly positive.

The staff have helped to consolidate my disparate pension pots into a single policy in advance of my upcoming retirement. This has included a protracted struggle to extricate the funds from the original pension company, which took a number of weeks to successfully resolve.

They have also advised on the best ways to manage the pension pot in the future and the pros and cons of the various ways in which I might access the money. I have nothing but praise for the help and advice that has been given.

The insoles arrived very quickly and are exactly what I expected. Now fitted and in use.

The goggles arrived very promptly and fit very well after changing the nose. It's a revelation to be able to see clearly after years of using plain goggles. I hadn't realised prescription lenses were available 'off the peg' like this.

I prefer to shop with a local, family-owned company rather than a faceless, monolithic, possibly multi-national furniture store. I have used Stokers before to purchase my current mattress (some 12 or so years ago) and, as it needs replacing, had no hesitation in returning.

I was shown around the beds department by Carl Sixsmith, who listened to what I wanted and then explained the differences between the mattresses in Stokers' extensive range. He then left me to test the ones which seemed to best suit my needs, a process which took around 15-20 minutes. After checking briefly on my progress, once I'd reached a decision, Carl returned to complete the sale and discuss estimated delivery times/dates etc.

Altogether, it was a very enjoyable experience. I never felt I was being pressured into buying a particular product or any additional items. I look forward to receiving the mattress in due course.

The bike turned up rather more quickly than expected. So far, so good.

I found the experience of using the website to order a bike quite difficult. Despite knowing what I wanted, it wasn't entirely clear at various stages where I was (I couldn't see the summary of the order as I paid, for example, which many sites allow).

However, it took me three attempts to pay - the first time I entered the details and pressed the pay button, the order disappeared into the ether, leaving me unsure as to where it had gone. I had to check my account details to make sure that the order hadn't gone through. The second time, having retrieved the details from the basket and gone to checkout, there was no way of entering my bank card details. However, when I started the order again from scratch, I was able to work through the process and complete the transaction.

Wheels were delivered quickly and without problems.

Excellent, fast service and delivery of the item I ordered - a folding pedal for a Brompton bike. It was a 60th birthday present, and it arrived in good time.

As usual from SJS, excellent service. In this case, a tyre fitting tool of the same type as one I purchased over 30 years ago but which I hadn't been able to find since. If it works as well as the original, I will be well satisfied.

New back wheel required to replace one whose freehub had died. SJS had the perfect replacement (26” diameter and 8-speed compatible) and it arrived very promptly. As always with SJS products, it does the job perfectly.
