The prices of some products are good. The only thing that lets them down is not receiving them for many days even though it should be next working day and would appreciate better communication to day how long delivery would take.

Good prices and products, but ‘next day’ delivery took ‘three days’ I emailed to enquire about the delivery but didn’t get a reply until after delivery. I tried ringing, but there was a one hour wait. I’ll probably give them another go.

I’ve had enough of Toolstation. I ordered some products with next working day delivery to the store and after three working days didn’t receive notification that it was delivered to the store. I went to the store and found only part of the order had been delivered and had to re order this again. As a busy electrician this service is terrible. If I delivered this type of service to my customers I’d be out of business in no time. The staff have my number but couldn’t be bothered to telephone me to tell me only part of the order was there so I didn’t waste my time and diesel.

My first time using electrical direct was excellent, but this time wasn’t so good. I had a next day delivery booked and therefore told my customer I would carry out a consumer unit charge. About 10 minutes before my delivery time I received a text saying due to unforeseen circumstances my delivery would not now be made and it would be the following day. This caused some issues after arranging with my customer and DNO to have main fuse removed. That evening I loaded something in the back of my van and found part of my delivery had been left at the back of my van. If I hadn’t loaded my van I would have drive away not knowing it was there. I then had to wait in until the following day until the second part my parcel arrived. Also my customer had to wait for another week to get the main fuse removed so delayed their consumer unit change. It may not be the fault of electrical direct, it could well be the courier but still disappointing when my first time using electrical direct was excellent and the knock on affect of not getting materials on time can cause a major headache for my business and customers too.

I do completely apologise for the inconvenience caused by the delay and can understand how frustrating this must have been. I can assure you this is not the service expect for you to receive. Taking a look into this further, I can see that this was delayed by the courier. We work closely with our couriers, so I will ensure this is raised with them to investigate on their end.

Received a text to say my order was ready for collection but after travelling to the store it wasn’t in stock. After questioning why I’ve received the text the staff became rude. Disappointing service
