Kept trying to charge me after confirming cancellation

I had an initial positive experience with Kimi. This persuaded me to try out their professional plan for $20/mo. Unfortunately, I found that their AI was not competitive for my purposes with the better-known alternatives.

That would be OK. I would give them three, maybe even four stars if that were the end of the story.

The end of the story is that, like too many scumbag organizations nowadays, they repeatedly confirmed that I had cancelled my membership and that I would not be charged anymore - and then they went ahead and charged me anyway.

Or at least they tried to. I saw them coming - I used an account that I was able to defund before the next billing cycle. But they weren't quitters. They kept trying and trying to charge me despite cancellation.

My advice: never, never trust Kimi.

Highly rated. Terrible customer support.

I bought a subscription. I added a computer. I tried to install Norton 360. I received an error: "We were unable to complete activation of your upgraded product." The chat feature in Norton customer service did not work. There seemed to be no other way to reach a live person. It appeared that many other customers had experienced the same problem. A number of them seemed to have spent hours, trying various solutions. Some finally found a way; some did not. If the company wants to make its software unusable, that's fine; but in that case I want a refund. Of course, I'm joking - I can't get a refund when I can't even get through to them.

Update: see, I was wrong. I posted this review on April 21, and Norton responded promptly in this forum on May 17. That's right - just four weeks later!

Poor quality merchandise

Most of what I needed from FirstLine Benefits was knock-off merchandise, not name brands.

My worst experience was with an inaccurate digital thermometer. FirstLine customer support did not respond to my inquiries. When I pursued it, they promised a replacement. They did not send that. When I pursued it again, they said that they would not consider a thermometer for human use "inaccurate" unless it was off by at least 15 degrees.

I am glad not to have to deal with them anymore. Based on my experience, I advise others to avoid them.
