Amazon seems to go out of their way to deprive customers of their rights and protect fraudulent sellers. Returned an item, has been delivered according to A Post, yet “Return delayed “ no reason and no refund. Another item ordered, paid and the tracking vanished as well as the item. Money down the drain. Combine with its unsavoury owner one should avoid Amazon. I will certainly close my account

avoid

Cancelled my connecting flight from Bremen to Amsterdam then rebooked me for the following day on a nine hour trip to go home to Cork with out asking my consent. I took the train to Amsterdam and spend 3 hours getting my original ticket for tonights flight reinstated only to discover that they had cheated me out of my business class ticket. And now the flight is delayed by more the one hour. I understand that things happen in Aviation but KLM has canceled more flights for me then any other carrier. Avoid if you can

I have bought a Fairphone 5 for my wife.A mid to upper layer price for average quality. Sound issues developed and Fairphone took their sweet time to respond. So I bought another phone, 2/3 of the price and much better quality. The Fairphone people, after a prolonged waiting time accepted the phone back for repair, checked for a fault with MMS that had nothing to do with the issue, found nothing wrong and are now sending it back. Top job. I have never seen so much incompetence. Check Fairphone fora and you'll find this repeat over and over again. They are clearly out of their depth or fraudulent.

Good concept let down by poor quality of components and service

I bought 5 Fairphones 4 and 1 Fairphone 5 from Fairphone. All had issues. Call quality being the most frequent followed by ambient light sensors and gyros not functioning properly. Build quality as such is good it is just that components are of inferior quality. The concept is admirable, that is why I bought for the whole family. Too bad this excellent concept is let down by the poor quality of components and customer service.
And Fairphone 's response remains the standard non- recognition of problems. They have experienced "longer then normal waiting times" in their customer service for years now

Cfm watch 3 pro not good enough and abysmal customer service

I upgraded my Cfm watch from a pro 2 to a pro 3. Battery is supposed to last 13 days. Measurements of BpM and Blood oxygen as well as sleep are supposed to be more accurate. The watch lost charge within 3 days and recovered somewhat after a firmware update and once the background processes were switched off. Still the battery lasts less than 6 days. The measurements are less exact than with the previous model. I tried to return the watch but was met with such a convoluted and obscure process and endless emails requesting yet another step that I gave up. The company seems to stay just within the bounds of European customer rights but without actually wanting to refund the customer. Beware of the risk

All in all an underwhelming experience

Rakuten Kobo seemed a good alternative to Apple Books or the google variant and to Amazon. But I have consistent problems getting the e-reader app to work on IOS or Android. Books need to be downloaded several times and the log-in process is cumbersome. The Kobo e-reader “Clara” not exactly cheap at €150 freezes often and the screen is not pleasant. A cumbersome item. All in all an underwhelming experience

serious issues Google payment services

I tried to purchase an item from the Irish Google store. The first purchase went trough the second did not and cause my payment method to be suspended and was followed by a request to upload proof that the debit card is mine and copy of a Government-issued photo Id which was supplied but not accepted. Following further emails I was informed that my case has been escalated and I would have a decision within 24-48 Hours. That decision came and requested a FOP (2444) to be uploaded. I do not know this form-checks on the internet showed it to be an American form. Naturally I will refrain from purchasing further goods and not transition from Apple to Google as Google seem to be worse then Apple. I am also amazed at how little the customer can do to get Google to actually transfer this from chat bots to a person and how little legal redress seems available. I will refer this to the data protection regulator.
