Home Telecom + Moving house
We have had Home Telecom for a year now. It was provided by Lettings Hub when we first moved in. I have autism and get overwhelmed by T&Cs etc, but they simplified the terms and conditions for us to understand easier. They have also provided a consistent service over the last year, with no quality issues whatsoever.
We are now moving address and planned to cancel and go with a different provider. When we explained who we were moving to, they politely said to us that the provider we had chosen to move to, has a very low rating on trust pilot. At first I thought it was Home Telecoms way of trying to keep us but upon research, I realised they had kindly prevented us from potentially a lot of stress with a new provider.
I asked for a quote to stay with home telecom and they gave us a very good deal. We asked if we could discuss it over the weekend and had absolutely no pressure in making a decision there and then. They respected our plan and just asked that we call them next week with our decision.
Within 10 minutes we decided to cancel the new provider and stick with Home Telecom. We called and everyone we spoke to was lovely.
Ajay, from the Movings Team, dealt with changing the details on our account and organising the installation etc at the new address. He was very clear and concise in explaining everything, and where there was something I didn’t quite understand, he simplified it for me. Whilst we haven’t had any contact with them since we first moved into this address (as we’ve had no issues!), their customer service appears to have remained incredible.
We’re happy to be staying with Home Telecom and are very grateful for their brilliant customers service.
