DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE. MY STUFF WAS STOLEN OVER THE SUMMER WHILE THEY WERE IN STORAGE AT 6129 VEGA DR, FORT WORTH TEXAS AND NO ONE NOTIFY ME. WHEN I GOT TO MY STORGAGE UNIT, THE LOCK WAS CHANGED AND I HAD TO CALL SOMEONE TO GET THE STORAGE OPEN. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE, I TRIED TO GET HELP TO FILE A POLICE REPORT AND NO ONE WOULD HELP ME. NOW, I'M OUT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS.

I did not realize I wasn't allowed to store my belongings there. I got a new agreement 2 days after I was at my unit, which when door is open you can see I have boxes of books stored in the front of the unit. New agreement states I'm not allowed to store my books, papers, anything of value or sentimental items. I guess they watch you when you are at your unit to see what you have stored. Since I'm apparently not allowed to store my personal belongings, I'll have to find a place that will. Also had issues with my payment not being accepted this month, had to put it on a credit card, as it wouldn't accept my debit/visa card. They took over only a few months ago, the gate has been chained open quite a few times as well.

The Indiana Ave facility in winston salem nc is a joke. The management is not helpful and are very rude. They do not appreciate their customers or treat you with respect. The auction department doesn't give you enough information to get you into a unit you may win on lockerfox. I was supposed to be refunded all my money back $330.00 but it's been 8 days and I've not seen a dime credited back to my accts. They are holding my money for some reason after agreeing to give me refunds and now threatening to take out harassment charges on me for sending them emails about not getting the refunds yet into my account. !! I'm having to beg them to give me the refunds they agreed to ! this is not right and when I was at the location the gates were open and did not shut anybody can go in and out as they please. And people also live in their units at this place and they allow them to do it. I seen that myself . and it's a high crime rate neighborhood so your items are never safe cause no one is there at all and they won't answer the phone or call you back. I do not recommend any 10 federal storage and I do not want any manager feedback regarding this review I only want my money back as I was told I would get and that's it I don't care to talk to anybody at that location because they're unprofessional and childish and racist. Just send my money back to my Accts thanks this is ridiculous

Over due payment
10 Federal bought the N Town Storage facility in Nolensville, TN. I had a bank account automatic pay system set up with N Town. When 10 Federal took over they did not notify me that they were not going to continue my pay method. As a result I learned that I was 3 months past due. No problem I will pay that amount. But I will not pay the extra $75 dollars that I am being charged for "auction". Especially since the unit is empty and there is nothing to auction off.

The gate never works. I call c/s and they say it's been reset and will work. It doesn't. 3 times and haven't been able to get in. I should have taken the hint from day 1 when I had problems with the gate! Now, 4th time can't get in and after 1-1/2 hrs got thru to c/s who says management is throwing me out. Are you f'ing kidding me!?!?!?! I HAVE ONLY BEEN THERE LESS THAN 2 MONTHS AND AM PAID IN FULL! I STILL can't get into my unit!! I was told management will call me to tell me why I have to move! 2 hrs later and no call from management. I am not in violation of ANY of their policies and have had nothing but problems and they should be doing what they can to keep me happy but instead I'm told I have to move out without an explanation!!! Your company SUCKS! Your automated system SUCKS! Your customer service SUCKS!!

On Wedneday April 20,2022 I received a text stating "Your unit is currently in the locker open position. Please return to the facility as soon as possible to secure your unit" I live out of state and I have 2 units. I called to get more information. I called Wed-Fri. and again Tuesday. Ive been told 3 times by the people taking my calls that they forwarded messages (Sent as urgent) I have yet to recieve a call back from the manager. The units are clean. People answering the phones are friendly but limited in information they have. Communication from the manager is nonexistent. Today is 1 week from my initial call to obtain more information.

Typical storage unit BS... make it EXTREMELY difficult to pay and then threaten and lock your stuff when you are hours late.
This particular company does not allow payment via cash, check, mailed, etc. Only credit card autopay.
But the facility is clean, dry, and well lit. i just hope the security is enough (seems like gate is left wide open... very often). Hopefully the cameras work.

BEWARE!!!
BEWARE!!!! This storage unit company will charge you for the damage done to your storage unit when CRIMINALS break into it and steal everything you own. They have no office, no one to complain to, unless you wait 45 minutes on the phone and even then, they’re absolutely indifferent to their own lack of security or the consequences it has on their customers. How low can you be?! Charging a person $762 for damage when they lost everything in the unit! Especially when 14 other units were broken into! I can’t wait to see their reviews of your greedy crap company!

Pretty good experience overall
Pretty good experience. Only trouble I had was with the touch screen. The curser was off about an inch. I had to do a lot of retyping in order to hit the right keys adding a good 15/20 minutes to my set up time.

My code didn't work
My code didn't work. Was stuck with my moving truck and helpers. No call back. Had to pay moving truck for another day, because customer service wasn't available till the next day. Also had to pay for storage one additional day because I couldn't access it the day I moved.

I reserved my unit remotely…
I reserved my unit remotely anticipating putting item in the unit when I came into town on the weekend. When I arrived at the site, there were three other customers waiting. The keypad wasn’t working and the kiosk was unresponsive. On of the waiters said he had been trying to get in for three days. This is an unacceptable service level. I have cancelled my rental and won’t be back.

My 10Federal experience
Although this was a new experience where the facility is unmanned, I was still able to get what I needed. The live reps over the phone were awesome at getting the job done and being sure I had what I needed. The were polite and patient. And when I encountered a problem with the unit they stayed on the line until resolved. Sure better experience from the last place I had. I’d recommend 10 Federal to anyone any day.

Called around. Found best rate here. Handled everything online. Self service was confident fast and solved my storage issues immediately. Found uphill entrance after circling around several times.
