Bought and paid for an auction unit and drove over 100 miles to get there and the gate code did not work. Called and waited and waited to report to their “customer service” and she said that was the correct code and that she would report it. I had to go back the next day to finish cleaning the unit and the gate code still did not work. Again called and never got ahold of a person and automatically went to voicemail and no return call. Both times had to wait for someone to exit to be able to get in through the gate to get to the unit. Then when using their website per their request to submit a photo of the cleaned out unit the Submit button would not work. Tried two devices with the same result. Unreliable from my experience and felt very disrespected and that as an auction buyer just not important to them They did not do their part but I did mine in spite of their failure. Will not do business with this company again. Can’t get ahold of anyone to truly help.

Absolutely horrible company. Management is non existent, facility had people living in the units. They rented a unit I was renting to someone else and items we destroyed and stolen. Insurance company they use is horrible. I would never rent from them again.

Trully horrible experience. This is a foul unethical company that exploits their customers at every opportunity. After moving my stuff in and leaving the area, my rent increased incrementally until I was paying 3x what I had initially agreed to. I eventually had to drive back across the country to clear out the unit because the cost was so insanely high for a very tiny unit. When I arrived, I found my lock had been changed, items were missing, there was rat poop all over the place, AND my vintage clothes collection was completely infested with moths.... an issue I am still dealing with months later... They also go to great effort to try to hide reviews and make it very difficult to file a claim.... So the additional thousands of dollars I spent on full coverage insurance was just more money unnessisarilly spent. Thousands of dollars gone but the real damage cannot be quantified.

I rented a unit from this dump in Grand jct on the riverside pkwy.my vehicle had broken down and had to be left over night along with the vehicle I was towing.next day came back and was greeted by the rude manager and his friend who proceeded to insult me and then had my vehicle towed to the time of $450 plus a daily fee of 48!! I hope someone handles him real soon.so they said I was living in my other vehicle on the property and locked me out of my unit.and told me I had to move about 1 hours after they had let me upgrade

Is this the ex excrement hole that's stealing from their residents? If so, I hope the people you screwed over take you to the cleaners! God damn low life thieves!

These people only deal with you on the phone and will hang up on you. They cost me a down payment to movers because they don’t listen and then hang up. If I could give negative stars I would!
If you ask to speak to a manager they just hang up on you!

I paid for storage of my daughters things for over three years she was killed in a car accident and it was all I had left. I went there to find my lock had been changed. I then found out the lock was found 6 months ago cut. This company texts and messages about the bill being due, but couldn’t contact me to tell me the unit had been broken into. The last six months I paid 250 amonth and if I had known it was broken into I would have got everything out of there. Now they say I am insured for 1000 if I have the receipts for what was stolen but that doesn’t even pay me back for the wasted rent. When speaking to the police I found out that since Federal took it over they have been called out there a lot. I didn’t know that. The police ask them to put up cameras so they did just never turned them on. This company doesn’t care I lost my daughters things that were priceless to me. DO NOT RENT A UNIT FROM THEM BECAUSE WHEN ITS BROKEN INTO THEY DONT CARE.

10 Federal Storage on FM 1516 has really gone down hill. The Gates are supposed to be Secure, but lately the South Gate has been left Open many times Day and or Night..!I am Considering moving somewhere else where I know my belongings will be Safe. I have brought the matter to the Attention of Management and nothing ever gets done.

A heads up about storing your camper at 10 federal on Honea Egypt! Our camper was broken into 3 times in 6 months! We have had to do repairs and they stole out blackstone this time! They do not care ! Will not look at cameras. And went up from $50 to $95 without any upgrades. Terrible place! THEY DO NOT CARE!

Do not rent space from this company!! Rates increased even though rodents accessed my unit soon after occupying the unit. The insurance coverage plan is so convoluted to discourage filing a claim but the cost also increased. Fees, fees and more fees if you are ever late paying. They make it seem like it's standard business operations but it is all designed to get possession of your belongings and auction them to the highest bidder. BEWARE of renting from 10 Federal Storage Facilities anywhere!!

What a horrible company. I don't know how these ppl sleep at night stealing people's belongings who want to and are willing to pay their bills. My father passed away and I'm trying to pay and clean out his storage units but they refuse to take my payment and will sell my great grandmother's family heirlooms. Who refuses money?! They sure took the payment from me last month. This is a ridiculous company policy that they definitely choose over common sense. My father has rented these units for 20 YEARS, but I guess that's just not enough profit.

This company chooses company policy over common sense. They will also raise your prices several times a year. I would not recommend this storage facility to anyone!

Princeton Rd, Johnson City, TN location. Monthly rate increased twice in one year. This coincided with the disappearance of all hand trucks inside the facility. This forced tenants to carry their own materials. Having a bad back made this even worse! When I brought this to the office staff’s attention, I got no reply. Seems to me that if they’re going to raise rates, the extra funds could have gone to furnishing tenants with more equipment for use. This led to my departure and I wouldn’t recommend this facility to anyone !

Rental increase twice in 6 months! No additional services for the customer. In fact, onsite security and assistance was removed. The company does not answer when you call for assistance. DO NOT RENT from this company!

Since they took over ownership and management from AAA storage just over a year ago, they have raised rates 4 times totalling about a 40% increase over that span. They are very quick to add late charges , liens, auction fees etc . They are very rude and unprofessional when you talk to them. I'm in Converse Texas with over 200K retired and active duty military personnel and DoD civilians living in the area, and they removed the military discount . They have only added a paint color change and have no real justification for the frequent increases . I would NOT rent from them, take your business elsewhere, they need 10 years in Federal Prison for their debauchery and shoddy business practices. They are worst than a predatory lender .. Stay away from the Converse Texas Binz Engleman Road and FM 1516 locations in you live in this area. I will be making an official complaint to the city to have them investigated !!

Do Not Rent from this company. My husband and I originally rented storage many years ago when the facility was owned by local people we knew. In late 2021 it was sold to this company. In the 18 months since, my rates have gone up 40%. My husband died and I got 3 months behind on rent. A $50 lien fee was assessed plus late fees. I was told it would be removed from the bill when I made full payment a week later. Not only did they refuse to remove it but a $75 auction fee had been added despite the auction date not being until days later. They are using my contract from 9/2021 to say the fees are justified and I agreed to them. That same contract lists my rental amount as $90 a month yet they charge me 40% more each month. Horrible company to do business with.

ADDENDUM REGARDING 10FederalStorage: Just to confirm that the 10FederalStorage offer of compensation for their price-gouging -- and for locking us into their storage yard in Dahlonega, GA when their old exit gate did not work -- was not made in good faith: WHEN WE REFUSED TO REMOVE OUR VALID LOW REVIEW OF THIS STORAGE FIRM, EVEN AFTER THEIR OFFERING US A REBATE IF WE TOOK DOWN THAT REVIEW, WE THEN REFUSED AGAIN, AND NEVER HEARD BACK FROM 1OFEDERAL AGAIN! BEWARE THIS STORAGE FIRM: THEY ARE UNTRUSTWORTHY EVEN WHEN IT COMES TO HONORING THEIR OWN COMPENSATION OFFER!!

The company frequently raises the monthly rent but customer service is willing to work with you and cares about your business.

This place is awful. It floods and the rodents are horrible! Can someone send me a copy of the insurance policy. It seems that the company will not do that
