1Market is Really annoying

Really annoying, since initiating an account from what was described as an online tool for trading i receive constant calls from sales people from who knows where. Never ever start an account is my advice. I can not find any way to cancel. The unsubscribe links does not work and they have shared my contact details with aggressive sales companies.

Stopped UK Trading

In September they just stopped UK trading with no notice as a result I had to close my open trades against my will and therefore take a loss against my will. They lost their UK trading license and didn't even provide any notice. They have to compensate people accordingly for any losses that weren’t the customers fault. I have a list of seven different grievances that happened over the course of my dealings with them.

• I was given a pro trading account even though i'm, not a pro trader and stated several time my exeprience was limited. I should never have been exposed to the high leverages.

• I believe my account manager made me purposely misrepresent myself in my pro account application in terms of total capital in order so it would go through.

• I was asked by email to verify the information that I provided for my pro account application but my account manager said not to worry about it and that it wasn’t needed, but it clearly was.

• I received no notice that the company was about to lose its license and no notification from my account manager. I only found out about on the day it happened when I logged in. You can’t just cease trading like that without giving people proper notice or compensating them accordingly.

• All my account manager support just ceased and I received no notification / communications from them. They just abandoned me without giving me any advice or support.

• You forced me to close down my trades without my permission therefore forcing me to take the loss.

• There were hidden “maintenance” fees that came off my balance. I was given no explanation what they were and why they had to come off. When I was raised they refunded it which makes me think it wasn’t supposed to come out at all and you were sneakily trying to siphon money from my account without my permission.

I thinking of going to the FCA and possibly a solicitor to get my money back.

Angeblich wäre ich kein Kunde bei 1 Market.

Oh wow, does these kind of brokers really exist?

Oh wow, did not think there was a company really wanting to be helpful and understanding and not being scammers. It is early days but oh my goodness what a start. Been scammed so many times but maby now there is some hope. My account manager is absolutely great and she does not push me to anything. I will update here as the time progresses and also hopefully my sad situation too.

Lackluster customer service

Terrible customer service. Just received an email saying a withdrawal has been requested from my account which I did not initiate. This is fraudulent activity and obviously an issue that needs looking into and stopping immediately. Reached out to them, the live service doesn't even allow you to start a conversation and instead the only option is to leave a message with them, still awaiting a reply.

Terrible Scam Company

Terrible company! It preys on people who have no experience getting them to recommend to their friends and family. They lie and sneakingly charge commissions that get you into more trouble. When you try to exit they don't let you. I have had my broker literally use scare tactics and manipulating most trades I open. She yells down the phone constantly at me. I asked to speak to her supervisor, and she said I can't.

You cannot contact their phone numbers which is a major alarm bell. Not sure how genuine this company is. They keep hounding you for money. The stress is unbelievable. They even tell you to take money from credit cards to fund the account or take a credit line.

My advice is run from this company. The excellent reviews here don't reflect the reality and the experience I and my friends have had. I hope this review saves at least 1 person from falling victim of this scam.

Additional update for UK residence, the firm is no longer allowed to do business in the UK. Check out the FCA update. DON’T be fooled by them.

1market refused withdrawal!!!

At this point im already in the withdrawal of my account but unfortunately they said i have missing documents. during the first session with the trading specialist we tried to with 25 usd from the account to see if withdrawal is working or not. at first they were very accomodating i already had a bad experience in a different company but this time im starting to have doubts. i have been working hard for money that they suggested me to invest in. i hope whoever is there who can help me legally at this matter can resolve my problem. dont trust people easily over the phone i had a bad encounter twice i might give up on doing trading because i dont know who can be trusted. please help me!

Takes forever to get your money back, I would avoid

[Update: Removing one of the stars. I still don't have my money back, and they are not processing my withdraw request.]

Initially, I was assigned an analyst which helped me with understanding how to trade daily.

However, there are several minor and major factors which made me to decide to leave the platform. I will list them in the following:
Minor Issues:
1. The analyst will push/persuade you to invest more money into the platform.
2. The analyst told me on the first session that I should challenge the trades, once done, he got angry, and didn't like it. He apologised in the next call.
3. The only input I was getting from the analyst was what Trading Central provided, nothing more than that. Trading Central is a technical analysis platform which you will have access to the analysis. It is also accessile through many other competitors. If Trading Central says up, he would suggest a buy position, if it was suggesting down, he would suggest a sell position. Nothing more than that.
4. The spreads are very expensive compared to the competitors. Check the spreads for Gold and Silver to get the idea.

Major Issues:
1. The software platform is immature, I had a position which went into loss making. I attempted to close the position at an acceptable loss for myself, the platform could not execute and close the position. I used 3 different devices, no luck.
2. I raised the issue with customer service, the reply was they "probably" will get back to me the day after. So they do not have a dedicated 24/5 technical support team for major incidents.
3. I requested to withdraw my entire funds, it is still to be processed (currently 48 hours). The initial withdraw was processed in less than 24 hours. I have contacted the support team, now they say it may take up to 8 days for the request to be processed.
4. The analyst called me, telling me that it was just a glitch, and I didn't lose much. Which is not the point, this is a financial system, any second matters. I could have lost all my money if the trade was going terribly wrong. His reply was, "well you didn't".

There are many other trustworthy competitors out there. If I were you, I would assess them first, before choosing 1Market.

This Company is the ideal broker in my humble opinion, an outstanding variety of assets, more than fair conditions, and most importantly they keep you informed. I was lucky enough to have Tracy Hampton assigned to me as my Account Manager, her professionalism and attention to detail is foremost, it is incredible the amount of time she has invested in me to enable me to begin to succeed in such a short time. Her main goal is to ensure that the account is working how it should be. I would 100% recommend this company and Tracy

Wanted to look into investments as a complete beginner and also a wary one . Downloaded app and registered started to look around and got a call almost immediately from one of the Brokers. He was very helpful but my personal option was I really wanted time to look around and get a feel for everything and to look up reviews and research this company before investing. I wasn't given time ...far too intense ... it was too much and despite asking for time I had to hang up after agreeing to a call the next Day.. same experience so I hung up .
Now getting in excess of 16 calls a day ... this now is harassment and I hope it will stop .
The company website does seem informative and it may be very good .
Sadly the fact I wasn't given the time needed to do my own research and to feel safe making a decision to invest personally put me off so I didn't want to make an unfair review but to say many potential clients may fall at the start if helpful becomes overhelpful and pushy .
18.6.21 update .
Thank you for your response.
Please stop the calls . They are still continuing and I would request strongly that these stop

I am trading only US stock CFDs in…

I am trading only US stock CFDs in 1Market. Pricing is very good. order execution is accurate and i have not seen any slippage in prices.. for now , this is starting to look like a pro trading platform with excellent execution but in a very simple and intuitive web platform.
I met the account manager in their offices, he was strict and nice.

I recently joined 1market earlier this week

Okay so about a week ago a made a review and this is my update:

The main reason I wrote my previous review was due to a panic I experienced and due to lack of my own knowledge ( I am a newbie) of the opening hours of the company. I’m overall really happy with the quality of help and guidance I have been receiving. I soon realized my previous poor review was based on miscommunication which has now been sorted out. I’m very pleased with the teachings from my mentor he concisely breaks down topics and answers all the questions I’ve had in regards to the market.
