4patriot should be ashamed but I’m sure they are not. Invoking American patriotism is a joke…..made in china. Lie-their 1800 has 700w. Won’t stand behind products. Cheapest, low quality parts and materials possible and sky high prices. The worst of the worst

I ordered an 1800 generator in 2022. It hasn't been used, but when I attempted to use this generator for the first time this past Thanksgiving, it could only power one small appliance. When I went to plug in a 2nd small appliance, the generator shut down. The generator could not power two or more small appliances. This was an embarrassing experience, to say the least. This product is supposed to power refrigerators and other large appliances for a significant period of time. To be fair, we were supposed to check the power every 3-4 months and perform maintenance on it. We didn't perform maintenance on it for several months, but the charge level wasn't the problem, rather the output was not working as expected or advertised. The product has never been used, and it was either defective ab initio, or misleading as to what can be charged.
I contacted customer support, and they stated the 1-year warranty expired and 4patriots is not responsible. Of course, if we paid hundreds of dollars for an extended warranty, then they would cover it. However, this product has never been used, and I was lulled into thinking that 4patriots would stand by its name and deliver dependable products. They already charged about $2,700 for the generator and some dehydrated food supplies, which was a push for me. I could not afford the extended warranty. I expect a good company will stand by its product and exercise good faith and fair dealing, especially when they are supposed to support our troops. Why is it I feel like one of the soldiers left behind or abandoned by our government in Afghanistan?
Anyway, I can't undo things nor change 4patriots position on this matter, but I can give a "heads up" to the general public and consumers to avoid purchasing any products from this company. Your time and well-earned money are better spent on either reviewing another company and/or making your own survivor's supplies.

In rebuttal to 4Patriots response, the generator battery has been stored in our home with an average temperature of 68-72 degrees. As previously mentioned, the generator battery was fully charged. However, the power output is and was defective from the beginning. Your boilerplate response does not honestly address this underlying issue. Your 1 year warranty may provide some legal protection, but your "too bad, so sad" perspective demonstrates your failure to stand by your product. Sooner or later your dishonesty and bad faith will catch up to you.

I wrote a review back in November and gave 4 Patriots the lowest rating I could. As of December 31, the issues with this company are still not resolved! I can’t express enough that anyone remotely interested in buying from this company should be very very wary. In September I purchased an 1800 generator and Sidekick generator from this company. All together the cost was $ 2671.79 - not cheap! I believed in these products and the fact the company was advertised on Fox News Channel as 4 Patriots. Unfortunately, my belief in them was misplaced. The first Sidekick was defective and overheated. After many hours on the phone trying to reach an associate, this generator was replaced and a second one sent. It was also defective.. This scenario occurred three times! It was at this point my husband said to request a full refund because with three defective generators, he no longer had confidence that the 1800 would work and living in Florida, he did not want to wait for another hurricane and power outage to discover it too was defective. I then requested a full refund of my $2671.79. I was promised a return box with styrofoam and appropriate labels. To this date, December 31, I still have received none. With the exception of an associate named Joey, this company has been a complete disappointment! They are dishonest and not accountable. I would never ever recommend anyone to trust in them being “ Patriots” or an honorable US company. It is obvious to me that they are simply another scam company who buys their products from China and is all in for greed $. They do not stand by their promises and certainly are not customer friendly. They simply make every excuse to not giving money back for their defective products. Seriously, how hard is it to send a customer a return box and labels. As I said in an earlier review, BUYERS BEWARE! Although the concept in solar generators is good, their service and products leave much to be desired. Save yourself lots of money and aggravation, buy a gasoline generator for $300 and save yourself lots of headaches and frustration. 4 Patriots should not be allowed to advertise themselves on Fox and should be reported to the Better Business Bureau as a scam!

I bought a 2023 version of the Sidekick Solar Generator. I bought this for emergencies. I got it out to charge up and test, and it refused to charge from a power outlet. It also did not put out any output, not even to charge a cell phone. When I called 4Patriots, they told me "sorry" but since it was over a year, there was nothing they could do except offer me money off a new one. Now, why would I spend money on a new generator when I spent $500 on the first one and it never worked? I am very disappointed in this 1 year warranty for something so expensive that was obviously defective.

I bought the solar generator in 11/23. After hurricane Helene, the generator only powered my refrigerator for 2 hours and it was fully charged. I would not recommend this to anyone. A total waste of money...I waited until this December to return it but customer service was rude and said my one year warranty expired since I had the unit for 13 months. Buyer beware. I own my business and would not treat a customer this way.

I've boughten and enjoyed the 72 hour food kit. Yes it didn't only fill me up but I had energy to get threw the day. It's the real deal and tasted just like Mom cooks. It's not empty calories like Chinese food. The Mac and cheese and oatmeal breakfast was great. The hearty hot dish with rice and vegetables was the main lunch/dinner and it kept me going. Only 20 minutes to make after boiling water how easy can it be. It was so creamy oh wow it was really restaurant quality. I can easily recommend this and see myself and anyone eating this in a grid down for extended lengths.

Well the water filter system is painfully slow in a real life situation you needed to filter pond water or pool water for instance you would be in a painful way,let alone if the water was really dirty the filter system is SLOW as a snail, 24 hrs to filter with one filter,1 gallon, they say 4 filters in a row would be faster,they being 4 patriots phone CSR,,,, ok 3 times faster is like 8 hrs then, family of 4 would be in big trouble waiting for water since they require 1 gallon to drink only every 24 hours, and that depends on OTHER factors as environment at that time around those that need the water like temp and humidity factors.And were still not able to factor in water for washing which needs to be at the very least sanitary... The food is at best edible its not palatable meaning if one is hungry one would eat this BUT its mushy, starchy, sticky, I am a chef quality, trained cook, and in their advertisements of their food on TV notice, they ad on-top of their meals fresh toppings of color vegetables-fruits to give that eye catching look which believe me when your done cooking it, it will not have that look, not only look buy palatable taste because their are no fresh anything about this food. Its for looks only what you see on TV their items can look this way if you ad them but will not on their own merits be this way. False advertisement if you ask me..But in a pinch, you can survive on it!!!! Buy cans from your local store rotate these out ever year or two, keep them in a STABLE environment, buy dry beans and noodles etc store in glass or plastic do not open anything and get yourself a reverse osmosis system for the water needs and drive on for nearly the cost of current food prices, just got to rotate the foods stock out...I have solutions for just about everything out there to do or not to do because i have done all this most of my life which has been thankyou lord 63 years, email me i will help you for free to do the very best you can on your own.....

I bought baby items and not happy about any of them. Not the generator or the portable battery packs or the water filter.

The generator takes for ever to charge and would not keep me alive if I only had sunlight. I sent the first set back but it did not charge better.
The water filter leak all over my countertop even after they sent me a new one
The 4 battery packs all swelled up and not usable. I asked for replacement but they were not warranted

I am very disappointed with this company and their product. Maybe it doesn't happen all the time but it happened to me. We purchased the generator with their food package for $5k in 2023. I have never used the generator and diligently followed the instructions in charging the generator 3-6 months as suggested. This past week we had a 2 day blackout in Southern California and for the first time that I am using the generator to power up our refrigerator, it did not work. The product was completely dead and wouldn't turn on. I called customer service for assistance and the only conclusion they can come up with is the "inverter" is not working. And of course, my warranty ended in September 2024 so the only way to get it repaired is to bring it to a local generator repair shop that they recommended. I went to that repair shop and they said that they don't normally repair these types of generator but if they did, they will have to look for the correct part and it can take two weeks and the estimate price is undetermined. So we spent thousands on this generator that we charged it according to instructions and never used and when we finally needed to use it for the first time, it wouldn't work. And the only way to make it work is to get it repaired ourselves, which apparently no one repairs this type of equipment. It feels like we were taken advantage of and all they can say is "sorry we can't help you because it is out of warranty."

Update: 4Patriots responded to our review. They provided us with a replacement unit. I received the unit yesterday, charged it, and tested it. It is working. 4Patriots addressed the issue, which I am thankful for, and the issue is now resolved.

This company is by far the worst company that I have ever dealt with. I have talked to their customer service department to refund my money for a product that they never sent the dispenser for over for three months now!

I have sent them a letter from my bank, I have been in touch with customer service only via email because we know we can’t get through on the phone on so many occasions it’s unbelievable. And every one of them is like oh we care about you warmest regards, such incredible BS.
And they are NO PATRIOTS!!! 😡

This is the worse company I’ve ever had to deal with,they ripped me off for 600 bucks and even after providing them with evidence they still refused to refund me my money,buyer beware

The quality is outstanding; it feels sturdy and built to last. I was impressed with how easy it was to assemble, and I had it set up in no time. The multiple compartments are perfect for sorting my food items. I especially love the stackable bins that maximize vertical space—great for jars and cans! The aesthetic appeal also adds a touch of elegance to my kitchen. Since using this organizer, I’ve found cooking and meal prep to be so much more enjoyable. It’s like I have a brand-new pantry!

I bought a 30 day emergency food supply. It included exactly three items that you woud consider "dinner." 2 Mac and Cheese and 1 Fettuccine Alfredo. The bulk of the rest of it was rice , oatmeal and banna chips. that at least 75% of the order. That's out of 269 advertised recipe.

If I'm trying live off this and a camp stove don't know what I'm going to do with bake mixes liike cookies bread and brownie.

They say up front, that they can't tell you what's going in your container. There is a good reason for that.

And there is a good reason they don't post all of their reviews on their website.

Fool me once. . .

Solar generator, I live in the mountains with a considerable amount of power outages. I have had this a couple of years in the box, my partner and I started camping again last year. I broke it out and started using it last year. While happy I have this, it does work. However the solar panel on this really bites. I am out on a very nice sunny day in California and have broke it out this morning almost zero charge. I decided to try the panel out today. Well it’s been sitting in the sun for over six ours in good clear sun, it still has not moved past the first bar on power. At this rate it will a week to charge it off one panel. Save you time and resources look at other products I can not recommend this.

4Patriots is an amazing place to find survival and disaster relief items at a competitive price. All items I have purchased have been high quality and arrived very quickly. I will continue to order from them.

I placed an order at 4patriots for survival food. They stated that it would take 7 to ten days to process and ship my order. They stated that they would email me a notification of shipping and a tracking number for my package. They did not! After a week I contacted them to inquire about my order. They claimed it had already been delivered and had a Fed Ex picture of it at the door to my building. I said that I had not received the package or even a tracking number for the package. If I had I would have been there to receive the package. I didn't, and wasn't there and the package is gone. I am out $98 and the operator basically said it's just tough luck! Don't buy from 4patriots you probably won't get your order either.

Update Nov 30
After posting here 4patriots reached out to me and reshipped my order, complete with the tracking number. I am pleased to say my package just arrived today and I was here to receive it because of the tracking number. Thank you, 4patriots, for making this right. I am happy with this outcome.

I have been trying for four weeks to get a FedEx label so I can return a defective generator and still cannot get it. It took me four hours holding on a phone to get customer service to start off with. They don’t respond to emails if they do it I’m sorry but we are trying. That’s insufficient anymore.

I opened my generator box and the cord that goes to power the generator does not have ANY metal pieces on it - neither the plug-in to the wall or the other end that goes to the generator. It's been over a week that I've been trying to contact them and get absolutely no response. I am about to dispute this charge on my credit card if I don't hear from them by the end of this week.

4Patriots got back to me with the refund promised.

I purchased several items from 4patriots and while the items were fine I was charged state sales tax, and special tax, AND out of state sales tax. Yes, that is three sets of tax on one sale. I questioned them about this and was informed that all states charge tax for internet sales. That is Bull! Ohio does not charge internet sales tax! Also, 4patriots didn't explain the special tax either! DON'T trust these people!
