I have ducked in and out over the last couple of years on AFPassion.com
and most of the times I was able to get an offline date out of it. However, don't expect anything like that from 50s Love. Your mailbox is bombarded with fake emails from computer-generated accounts. Each one of them writes you one letter and then goes silent. Most of the accounts just vanish into thin air and you can't find them anymore. It looks like extremely few, if any, genuine ladies join this site anymore.

If I could give a Zero to this scammer I would. They have constantly harassed me for money and today received another demand for money. I have reported them to ReportFraud today. I have also reported this to Action Fraud.

Back in 2021 I joined the site but it was useless and I never used it and thought I had emailed to cancel. Suddenly I was emailed a surprise bill for a considerable sum of money which I didn't have any idea was owing. With threats that if I didn't pay they would put a debt collection agency on to me and it would affect my credit score. Also if I wanted to cancel my subscription I would have to send a registered letter to an address in Austria. As I didn't want to have financial issues I tried to pay via my credit card but the credit card company refused to recognise the recipient and wouldn't make the payment. So in the end I had to ask a friend to deal with it through their business account and the money was paid even though I was sure I didn't actually owe the money. At the same time I duly sent a registered letter to the organisation and assumed that would be the end of it.
However now some five years later I am being threatened with debt collection agencies and apparently an astronomical amount of money as apparently I never cancelled my subscription. Fortunately I have connections in the City of London police fraud squad and the organisation has been reported.
This website and other similar ones are a complete SCAM and DO NOT PAY THEM ANYTHING OR GIVE THEM YOIR BANK DETAILS or they will take unauthorised funds

I joined this site in 2023. It was obvious from the start that it wasn't legitimate. I decided to cancel my payments but my bank said they couldn't be stopped until I'd paid my last, agreed subscription. I was advised to cancel my debit card and apply for a new one in order to stop them taking more money. After several attempts at emailing them, I sent a registered letter to the address in Austria, but it was return. My thoughts where that I'd done everything that they asked in order to cancel, and I left it at that. Now, 18 months later, I've received a letter from a debt collecting agency in Germany asking for £ 426.62p. This site is a scam, IMO, and should be avoided at all cost.

If I could give a minus 200 I would absolutely a scam. They fraudulently tried to take money from my bank and I stopped them have been emailing me for years and now have sent debt collectors after me despite me never using their service. I am now threatening them with legal action. Mostly I just delete their spam demands and I am now changing my email. Get a real job you low life scammers.

First a score of 1 is too high for these con artists! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO USE THIS SITE!

Firstly the site is crap, secondly they only accept cancellation by fax to their German HQ ! Is you dont pay you will be hounded and chased until you pay.

So please save yourself the hassle and DON'T USE THEM

They or whoever runs it are criminals. Fake women who want to know you but after replying nothing. Scammer.

If I could give minus 10 stars I would. Sadly like others on here I signed up for one month just out of curiosity and they took the full 6 months subscription in one go. I tried to cancel and followed all their procedures then 6 months later they took another full subscription without my knowledge. I challenged this with the credit card company who spoke to them but 50s love said it was on their terms for auto renewal which isn’t clear at all on the site. I cancelled again sending another registered letter then they tried again to take another full subscription. By this time my credit card had thankfully expired but they have been hounding me ever since for the last 2 years for £394 saying I owe them and that’s after the account was cancelled 2 years before! I have today just had another contact from National Inkasso which also appears to be a fake debt collection agency threatening me. I spoke to Action Fraud and they said not to pay them and to ignore. I’ve tried reporting them and also to Austrian GDPR for using my data illegally. I don’t like the fact they are continuing to bully and harass me for their own poor administration procedures- totally fraudulent AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Im in NZ and exactly the same deal. Fake profiles from people who arent even in the same country and cannot speak English, was on there a week in 2022 and cancelled as told by registered letter. Every day i receive a threatening court email with different amounts owing. I block the sender but the next day theres another email. Arrived home today to an actual letter in the mail from them. Returned to sender with ‘not at this address’. Complete scam, awful ‘people’ who deserve a bulk court action in return.

Cancelled multiple times registered letters which amazing they never received .
Under the name of dating lions strange that seems to have changed in this time . I’ve had threats of court proceedings and debt collection agencies x 3
Been to police action fraud and my bank and all said not to pay so I’m not.
Seriously considering taken legal action against them for scamming and threatening harassment behaviour

I have been having the same experience with this company since 2021. I never receive any communication until their 6 month subscription is due and then someone is interested in my profile. Told them after the free trial that I did not want to use their service. I have 50 pages of emails whereby I have told them that I am not using the service and want my profile removed. My profile can’t be removed if I owe them money😜. I have sent my termination by registered post. It was signed for but reported not received by them. I sent jpeg photographs of the envelope after it was registered in the post office and of the signature on the Royal Mail tracking system. They were unable to open the photos!!!. I am now getting threats from a debt collection agency in Germany. I personally would love to see these “people” being taken to court.
Has anyone successfully challenged them legally?

I have been getting letters from them saying I still owe for membership. I payed what I owed and sent a letter to cancel. That was years ago
And now I get a letter saying if not paid there are going to go to court. Which if I new this from the start I won't have joyed the site. I have been to the bank about this there say don't pay anything .so I am not

I have been battling with this company for 3 years now, I echo what others are saying on here that they have sent letters and the fax does not work.

They are not consistent and send different balances and different account numbers.

I am so sick of this, we should all club together to get rid of this.

I just did a profile didn’t sign up for any plan, they keep demanding £253 ! They are now threatening me with court proceedings …… what can I do? Awful company complete scammers …… I have emailed them time again they just tell me I don’t reply ….. avoid at all costs

In October 2023 and January 2024, you through your organisations listed above have illegally pursued a campaign under false pretenses including the threat of debt collection, to extort these funds. The evidence listed below in support of this notice.

• repeatedly threatening to send me to the debt collectors and the additional threat of incurring additional charges: some of the documents were supplied by email.

If you do not cease the above-mentioned activity, I will be taking the appropriate legal actions against you, including any actions legally available for damages and remedies. -100 for me joined this site last year yes I met a lovely man but hasn’t worked out. Cancelled or so I thought my account didn’t go back on. Now I’ve received a bill for £1340 ? I’ve tried to get back into my account but won’t take my details so to me that is cancelled. I don’t to pay this money which I haven’t got anyway. What should I do.

I am not getting anywhere with this site. Don't get me wrong, it is not bad at all. There are many members and it is pretty easy to use but it seems like most people are more into chatting and don't really want to meet in person. So I am not really sure if I will continue using it.

For those who weren't lucky as well: Outime.co.uk works pretty good and is always worth a try. 50plusSingles.co.uk is a new site but worked like a charm for me so I may reactivate my profile soon.

Yet again this company is trying to get money out of me that they say I owe.
Cancelled my membership in may 2021 just I had taken it out.
Also cancelled my credit card at the same time.
They never sent any replies to accept it was cancelled
This week they have informed me I owe them £282.40
This company is a joke do not join up.
I am now seeking legal advice on this matter
