By the way they are breaking the Consumer Rights Act 2015 - they may be based in Austria but the UK rules apply - there are a few fake profiles - most profiles are a joke - matches are rubbish - fee description is misleading - finally I reported 2 rude customers to them and they did nothing - all these sites should be strictly regulated - also watch all the docs on love scams (Channel 4 & 5)

Everybody wants to leave this place and everybody has problems with opting out. I also started using AFFseek.com
more or less activity. It's a completely different service. Not expensive and efficient. It is beyond my comprehension how dating platforms like Loveat50 are allowed to operate. They are outright fraudsters who can manipulate every last cent from inexperienced men. It's a felonious company to stay away from!

Didn't realise I had signed up to a years subscription. I emailed within 15 minutes after realising my mistake. I contacted my bank as initially £279 was paid to this bogus company. My bank stopped the payment & payed it back into my account. Nothing for 2 months then the threatening emails started. Debit collectors, trashing my excellent credit rating & completely ignoring all my emails. I now have until 11.03.2026 to pay them back. That is not going to happen. I didn't use the site.why should I pay for a service not used. Do not touch this site it's all a scam. I didn't want to give any stars. I've now got to seek advice from my bank & change bank details & email address.

No free credits to even see what the people are saying..or u reply. I didnt subscribe because of this.

I signed up with Love at 50 in Australia in 2022for a 3 month period and soon realized that the service was very poor and did not meet any women as the ones sent were all over the place except my area, so I tried to cancel but they kept taking money from my credit card and said the only way to cancel was by sending a signed letter with all my details by registered post to their office. I filled out their cancel form and changed my credit card and sent them an email of the cancellation. I did not hear from them after that and I have now received a debt from ecollect Germany wanting 500.06 EUR put in their account by 29.01.26 or they would take legal action. Needless to say that will not happen and I didn't get the letter until Feb 6th, this company has had shocking reviews and continues to operate, how is this possible, complete scammers

Sc@mming site, they will refuse to cancel your subscription then tell you to pay up even when they have canceled the subscription. This was an actual quote from them, "Your membership has been canceled, but that doesn't mean you won't have to pay anything to. The information has been sent to you." This is totally illegal and they need to close this site along with its sister companies, datinglions.com and 40smeet.com

This site has scammers operating. Beware of fake profiles and professional photos. If the person doesn't want to meet online question this. Also alot of AI replies if asked to correspond over email.

Basically thought I was signing up for a month sweet I was OK with that,Wednesday I checked bank account and $269.97 was taking.now can't even pay for food etc for the week as I'm on ACC so don't have much to come and go on.

Has anyone successfully been able to make loveat50s demands etc go away. I'm having the same issues as written here but would like to know how and if anyone has had success in finally getting rid of them?

I joined love over 50 in June 2024 for literally a couple of day.
Can you cancel like other dating apps.NO YOU CAN'T.. in fact they ask you to fax? I emailed them several times with late responses with the same reply, i have to fax? Or write. They still took my money out.
I contacted Barclays to recall my money and dispute further transactions. Love ove 50 replied with lies and a fake email address with a / cancellation email.. rubbish. I'm going back to Barclays now with how I was treated by them, the fake email address and everyone's reviews.
They also broke GDPR code by sending barclays personal I formation about me when I signed up. Absolutely fuming. They have even filled out my registration with lies. Things I didn't even click on. I would never date a 25 year old that is 4f 5 inches. I am 59 years old.barclays have been so helpful.

This company Dating Lions GmbH is a site that lives by rules that are threats and is only designed for their benefit.
It is a scam I am now 6 payments of membership fees behind have noy been a member or have a profile on their site they send collection letters every 3 months with threats of court action in Germany because probably because they can't do it in their own country as it is a joke that if someone does not pay an outstanding and still want money for the next subscription. Would you keep suppling a bad debtor.
If this was a genuine company that would STOP SUPPLING KNOWING THERE IS A BAD DEBT. no not these pack of nut job they keep sending collection letters with weekly payment bank authority auto payment forms.

They try frightening people into submission I have sleeked legal advice if your not in Germany they have no jurisdiction out of Germany.
There company trading as loveat50 in this country has not complied with our trading laws subscription must have the same as or similar to unsubscribe and must be free. well faxes that is for you younger readers is a very old way to send a text on paper and the other method send register letter now this country does not do this any longer and if they did the cost would be too expensive.

LOOKS like Hillery Simons and Anne Fletcher are the names used as the debt collection debtor for the company they never have any constructive help or reason so no point even trying and they represent this company that tries to extort money for the most backward Austrian people
Remind me never to go to that country as I will need a magic carpet to get around or horseback cars or genuine people don't exist

Its about time this dodgy scam site takes attention that they need to review the rule governing this country on the operation of dodgy scam site that tries to inforce rules that are not lawful. And your support and collections actually abides by this country's use of its site here I have made it my goal to uncover this sites use here and understands it is demanding money for people using its site that does not comply with New Zealand's terms of use it about time you employed decent lawyers to make right your terms and conditions as they are not able to enforce it Stupid and archaic terms here. Your site has to threaten and put debt collectors on to my fellow country men and women.
I hope you know that I am collating a list of members that your site has intimidated and extorted money from Thay you then need to refund as it is not lawful that your site intimates and extorts when your site is not abiding by our laws and your pathetic contract that is not valid to be able to demand money from residents of this country you need to at least get your terms to comply to this county's use of terms
Your not providing a unsubscribe in accordance of New Zealand terms you must provide a reasonable unsubscribe and MUST BE FREE and straight forward Fax are not free and nor are letters 
And to unsubscribe must be similar to signing up you cannot use a New Zealand email address and not be here in this country it is misleading and unethical 
But the terms must have been checked out before your started to advertise here and you don't respond to me pointing this out that is why I have reported this site and it demands to internal affairs Department. as I have been treated very badly by this site and the collections site has never acknowledged or replied to approx15 emails and their site is as bad as this one totally obnoxious unreasonable and unmoral

I 'cancelled' my membership after 3 months in May 2022 as it was not meeting my needs. I thought that was it.
Since then I have been inundated every month saying I owe them money. I have even had a German based collection agency after me.
I really dont know what to do and at my age (77) its now beginning to affect my health.
I have written man emails but on once had a reply and that was at the outset.
The latest email arrived this week saying that I still owed them money. HELP!

This is a scam, stay away from this site. They will get your money and make it impossible to cancel the subscription that you never agreed to have it ongoing.
Even if the site is real (which I don’t believe it is), it is the worse platform ever.

This site is a total scam and if i could give it 0 stars i would have . All the other comments are tight on the money and money grabbing thieves is spot on ( although i think on a free site ) Nothing more frustrating talking to a ghost, they want more & more info and when i try and arrange a meet up it never happens . The other gripe you can not have what i would call a live chat usually you have to wait 3-6-9 12 hours for a reply

I do believe the profiles are real but your profile is then used to trap other users into paying extended membership fees, you will never ever talk to the person in the profile. It is run by professional scammers Any replies you receive are either generic questions, ie how was your day or they pull at the heart strings with tales of deceit and cheating by former partners. They will try to seduce you with talk of meeting up and weekends away but refuse to supply alternative means of communication like a phone number. I live in NZ and their grasp of geography is shocking. I asked for matches within 50km and end up with matches on a totally different island. The whole site is fake and you will never ever talk to your match. It is quite heartbreaking that genuine people are being used like this all for the sake of money. I get messages at 3am asking how my day is? Occasionally you will get a live chatter who is charming and talks about music, movies, food etc and then the next sentence bears no relevance at all, on one match I estimate there were three different people talking to me at different times judging the sentence structure and content of the responses. I have now pulled my profile because it is upsetting to think it is being used to rip people off.

Signed up for the $12.99 per month option and they took $415 from my account. Scam and crooks - STAY WELL CLEAR!

SCAM SITE! They make it impossible to delete your account and subscription. I have had to send a registered letter to Austria to cancel my subsription and that probably won't even work. The profiles are fake. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE!

I have read the comments by other members wishing to cancel their subscription. I have had exactly the same experience. Refusal to cancel despite sending many emails with my details and the cancel code. Furthermore I find that it's virtually impossible to arrange a date with any of my matches. Maybe it's because many of the profiles are fake? My advice is to stay away from loveat50 at all costs. The dating website has no cancel function which in itself is suspicious. Also my preferences don't seem to have much effect on the so called matches.
