A mixed experience, satisfactory outcome
We ordered a Cube electric bike via Click and Collect from 99Bikes Belmont WA store, then patiently waited for many weeks without hearing anything despite attempting to obtain a delivery date several times. In the meantime, various 99Bikes sales offered the same bike we ordered for up to $800 less. Overall, we are grateful for the professional, capable service provided by Kellan at 99Bikes Belmont and to 99Bikes for agreeing to match the sale price once our bike eventually arrived.
Unprofessional Mechanic, lack of knowledge on bike parts.
I went into the store a couple of days ago with my old 68x110mm bottom bracket and hoped that the mechanic could help me find the same one. He eventually found one for me so I didn't think too much about it and took it home. Got it installed but couldn't figure out why the front derailleur wasn't shifting to the largest chain ring spent about 5 hours troubleshooting it and ended up sending the bike to the movement system in Burswood. They found out that the bottom bracket that the mechanic gave to me at 99bikes was 68x122mm, ended up paying the labor as well as the new bottom bracket which cost me quite a lot of money.
On a separate event. I paid 120 for the bike to get serviced and went back there 3 times within 2-3 weeks after service because it wasn't shifting properly they still didn't fix the problem completely and they had no idea what was wrong with it. Very disappointing.
I wont be coming back here for any mechanical service, or trust their mechanical knowledge with my bike, the quality of the mechanic here is not good.
Great customer service
We received great advice. The person who served us made a special effort to get our son's bike built in time for his birthday even though it was only a few days away.
Brakes & Silicone Shine Issue
Has anyone else had issues with their new bike with brakes not working properly with loud squeaking??
Our son has spent the last 18 months saving for his new Norco which he so proudly bought on the holidays. Sadly someone at Belmont sprayed silicone shine on the bike and contaminated the front rotors and brakepads. We live in the country, 2.5 hrs away.
He was riding and jumping with friends and having big issues stopping his bike and with squeaking. Our friends have been mountain bike competitors for years so quickly spotted the problem. We had to take the bike to the local bike shop, which cost a further $40 to change pads & rotors. When the matter was raised with 99Bikes in Belmont, face to face in their store, there was actually Care Factor Zero about the matter.
I would like to think management in all stores read this and ensure there are changes made, quickly, since dodgy brakes are a major safety issue, to ensure silicone shine is not sprayed on rotors and pads, and that post sale customer service regarding issues with new purchases is dramatically improved.
Ordered an Ebike online
Ordered an Ebike online, collected it the following day, which was a Sunday. Bit of a wait in store, but I guess there's less staff on that day, it was no issue.
Staff were very helpful to me.

Another big tick for the Belmont crew at 99 Bikes. I’ve been using the store frequently since getting back on my bike this year and always find the staff friendly, helpful and efficient. The prices are good too.
This was my first bike service at the store. The bike was second hand and went in a bit ragged looking, so I went for the Standard+ service. It came out looking brand new and rides great.
Very happy to recommend 99Bikes in general, I visited a few stores now, but particularly Belmont.

Never got that call but just turned up one day, and the salesman was very apologetic as the bikes were infact bnoth in stock for a while.
Finished the check/Build them on the spot for me and I was on my way.

Tremendous Service
I've had excellent customer service at 99 Bikes Belmont no matter how big or small my transaction.
Solid and sturdy
Solid, sturdy carrier which attached easily.
I found the instructions a bit difficult, but that maybe just me !
I’ve yet to actually put the bike on and try the locks and straps but it all looks pretty straight forward. In all I’m happy with my purchase, it is for my E bike on my motorhome.

Simple order frustration
Simple order, 2 tyres and take half day for shop to prepare and still not ready when I got there. And sales person asked me whether I received the sms say item is ready yet? Omg
