Very helpful salesman. After the order had been placed everything went speedily, efficiently and on time.

This was the 2nd set of blinds fitted for us this year by A1. We needed blinds for our patio doors to stop the dogs waking up so early in the morning.

We asked for a quote and measure up - all done in a few days.

The blinds took about 2-3 weeks to arrive, and were fitted with no fuss, no mess. Bill was as quoted.

We would highly recommend A1 Blinds.

A1 is NOT responding to a faulty product/installation:

1. The product they marketed to us does not work in the way it was verbally described to us by their "expert" during a home visit. Nor does it work as it was described in the quote we signed for.

2. Shortly after installation, the blind came out of its rails and A1 claimed that we operated it carelessly.

I contacted them immediately as soon as I noticed the specification discrepancy and the operations fault. I hoped that they would fix the fault immediately so that it wouldn't get worse and cause any damage. A1 did not respond; I needed to chase them four times over nine(9) weeks.

I believe that A1 only responded after the 4th time because I told them that I would make a formal complaint against them to the Trading Standards Office (TSO). They sent someone over to have a look and then we heard nothing.

After two weeks, I needed to chase them again and remind them about my intention to file a complaint with TSO. They responded eventually emphasising that the product functions as it is and that they can send someone over to have a look again.

On 11 July 2024, I responded and repeated that the product does not work according to the verbal advice we received and the quote we signed. I also added that since A1 did not respond in time, the blind is now damaged. I finished off my email by saying that we want a favourable response. Otherwise, I'll proceed with a complaint with TSO and will also write poor reviews. WE HEARD NOTHING FROM A1.

Note:
Five(5) months have passed since installation. The date of experience I gave is the date of my latest email to A1.

A really easy and stress free experience. Initially submitted an enquiry online and received a call within 15 minutes to arrange for a surveyor to come out.
The surveyor came out 2 days later and was incredibly friendly and helpful.
Happy with the quote so paid a deposit and got told they would be in touch to arrange a fitting date as soon as the stock is in. Received a call around 2 weeks later to ask if we could do the following day which we were really happy with.
A lovely guy came to do the fitting which took no time at all.
Incredibly happy with our blinds and we'd recommend A1 to anyone.

This is the second time we have used A1 blinds and we were not disappointed, another excellent service provided and I highly recommend A1 blinds. Excellent customer service and quality fitting.
